This, my friends, is why this woman is a world famous, world wide superstar. I saw Evita on stage at least 6 times, each time I grew to love the music of this show more and more. When the movie came out I was floored. I knew Madonna had put alot of time into voice coaching for this part and then there were the people who said that her casting was some kind of gimmick. This is a role that fits her personality and voice I think more than any other. Her voice as she gets older is taking on a wonderful depth and range of expression. She is an enormously underrated artist, due to her pop music background, but she is and always has been a formidable presence in music and I hope will continue to be.
This rendition touched me the most...the arrangement is so true to the message n the emotion she brings to the collaboration of songs makes your skin errupt with a response...It crawls! :)) Yes a favorite!

She demonstrates to have a great voice when she's not dancing. She doesn't use pre-recorded vocals while dancing, unlike everyone else hence why it's difficult for her to maintain a flawless intonation while dancing AND she also dances for three consecutive hours every show. Everyone else pre-record their vocals hence why they sound more polished and with no imperfections. It is also to be noticed that Madonna is an actual dancer and her dancing isn't made of simplistic leg/arm moves which don't necessarily damage the vocal delivery. Plus, she seems to be way more nervous and less confident when she makes TV performances. Probably because people always gave her such a hard time for her vocals. At the other hand she's way more confident in her own shows in front of her fans/audience, hence why she lets herself go and shows off her proficiency singing wise.

She demonstrates to have a great voice when she's not dancing. She doesn't use pre-recorded vocals while dancing, unlike everyone else hence why it's difficult for her to maintain a flawless intonation while dancing AND she also dances for three consecutive hours every show. Everyone else pre-record their vocals hence why they sound more polished and with no imperfections. It is also to be noticed that Madonna is an actual dancer and her dancing isn't made of simplistic leg/arm moves which don't necessarily damage the vocal delivery. Plus, she seems to be way more nervous and less confident when she makes TV performances. Probably because people always gave her such a hard time for her vocals. At the other hand she's way more confident in her own shows in front of her fans/audience, hence why she lets herself go and shows off her proficiency singing wise.
