School children has to submit the progress report from school regarding the attendance (registration certificate from school)
My kids visa expiring on Aug 15 2025 and I have ILR. So how many months before I can apply for extension? is this 3 months or 6 months. Please can you advise?

“Your partner or child’s visa will not automatically extend if you extend yours. If they do not extend their visa, it will be valid until its original end date.
They can either apply at the same time as you, or at any time before their current visa expires.”

Children are already present in the UK,right?
There is no problem in mentioning their names,as you are going to apply for them as well. I hope you can give the answer yes. Please kindly make sure you are doing the dependent visa extension,not the first visa application. This question sounds like it is in the first visa applications application form.

When I did the application it was within the application as shown in the video. I am not sure about the appointment .I did not had an appointment for my 2year old child
Hai, if you use app for scanning the BRP of the child, we do not need to take appointment for biometrics again for dependant child visa extension?
Yes,when I applied last year,it was like that .I am not quite sure what is happening currently.
My child was 2years ,I have done exactly same as the video.please do follow the instructions given during your application process.

It depends on how the application directs you while doing the application.
One of my friends’s daughter is actually 11years old ,but she doesn’t need to go for an appointment. Everything what they have instructed been done by using the app.But her son has to go to visa centre ,because there was some technical issues while doing the application.
So please kindly check your application again or reconfirm with any of your friends or colleagues who have applied recently as I am not sure if there is any recent change

Hi we omitted to mention one country name on my child's travel history and make the payment, after making the payment only we recognised it ,what we need to do,Can we proceed with the application, is there any possibility to contact them via e amil or phone , as once we the payment hasp been made there will not be any refund ,Please advise ,Thanks

Is it children of all ages that are to do biometrics? When i did application for my children I did not see anywhere I am asked to do ID check with their app, am I on the right path?

I think kids who are below 6 in previous application and now they are above 6 age would need to do go for biometric. In this case system navigate to different application format
My daughter is 17 years 10 months currently she in uk, i am with psw visa. If i change to tier 2 visa, is my daughter still continue as my child dependent
Hi,I don’t know much about switching from PSW to Tier 2 visa and applying for dependent child who is almost 18 years old.
Please kindly contact an immigration advisor as soon as possible.please don’t risk your child’s visa by waiting.It
is a better decision to contact an immigration adviser ,who can help you with this.

Can you just explain what should we fill in the column of previous adress history of child ? because my baby born here and she doesn't have any previous adress so i can't go further to fill can you just reply?

I suggest you to put the same address again and provide the month and year your child has born,because it’s asking about where you lived in past 2years. I think it would be okay.
In my case my baby was more than 2years old and there was a change in current address and previous address,so I didn’t face such a problem. But try this as I said,because we are telling the truth and we are not giving any wrong information,may I ask you one for question,is it the first time you are applying for a visa or else is it an extension?

You have to login to your current application for the child.for that you need to sign in using the link which they have sent you during the start of the application process
My baby is 1.6 years. I just done as per the vedeo. There was no appointment came for me.please advice
We don’t need to go for any appointment . You have to upload the documents ,which they advise to do.
If you have scanned your baby’s BRP via the app as per the video,then check your email about the application

Under 4years ,they don’t want to take fingerprint as it is already been taken during the first BRP application.for my child ,he was 2and there was no appointment

Your initial visa status was skilled worker visa right?.Then go with the same steps. I did the same.

Please try to apply as early as possible,I don’t think there is a problem as you have ILR already

@anjuzanjuz5500 you can add them in the same application,as there is a question anyone else is applying for the visa,there is option to add child dependents one by one.when I applied for the first time I gave applied for my husband and first child together.

Hi,I think you can add children in one application.I have not done it.
But earlier when I extended visa for my dependents hus and child ,I have added them along with my extension,so I think you can add children.That was 3years ago . But recently when I extended for my child we need to create an UKVI account,so I am not sure,whether you need separate applications for each after creating ukvi account for each.Need to enquire someone who have done the application for more children.

I hope,we need to take UKVI account for each with their own BRP card ,then only we can extend visa. So you may need to apply separately.Now I remember,one of my friend’s have two children ,they did it separately,one got everything thing done via online,but one has to go to visa centre.

@jisaalbert4747 you can provide yours ,if you do pay for any education classes it shows in your statement,you have to maintain some amount of,you can submit current account or savings

If there is no technical issues while you apply,you can scan do ID check by the app. But sometimes,it has to be done at visa centre due to technical problems.
One of my friends one child could do it using the app,while the other child has to take visa appointment.It depends. Thank you

Is this same as 2year old child visa extension?
My child was 2years,till 17years Children come under Dependents,There is no special application for specific age
@@happydays-ukfamilyvlogs8619when i start for application of child its says an option for fingerprints scanned already ? there they told to select no for child under 4.. but i actually got a BRP for child which scanned finger prints already but she is still under 4 (2yr8m).. if we select no the application proceed in a different way not through using the App.. But if i select yes going as normal to the app procedure.. would that be okay ?? and one more thing child visa gonna expires within 28 days.. would that be any issue?

I have applied dependent visa for my child while on SW visa. Child was born in UK. 3 months later I got ILR and applied for ILR same time for child also. Child can get British citizenship if we want, but I don't want.
