You should get a hypernaked as your next bike. Less fairings to take off, and nothing to flap in the wind on a group ride. ;p

Definitely would enjoy a naked/hypernaked bike. Pretty comfortable ride

I have 2 MT09's and a SXR900 we could tear the bike to parade rest in no time, that's the only thing I hate about my CBR600RR and CBR1000RR is all the wasted time messing with fairings. 😈

My friend I agree with the other comment given, it's time for a MT09 or the MT07 I think you will like the MT09 better easy to work on a lot easyer than the MT07 and will eat your bike for lunch it's up right comfortable light very agile, cranks on twisties once the suspension is set up right and a blast to ride. If you get a used one that mechanic friend pay him to check the bike out for you if used. I recommend 2018 to 2020 they have all the stuff you need the 2014-2016 are a beast and in 2017 they fixed most of the issues and added a bunch of add on's traction control ABS, Mods, stay away from the new one for a couple of years to many changes the 2014-2020 engine and bike is bullet proof for the 07 and 09 I have the 2009 CBR600RR as you know, I'm getting ready to sell, might keep my CBR1000RR or sell that to. I really wish you would have got the Honda Blue which can be run in any brand bike. On average you would be running 5 to 10 degree cooler. 1. Put bike on stand 2. Body parts. 3. Radiator cap. 4. Completely remove and clean canister if as bad as that was. 5. Drain and flush it can take from 3 to ? times depending on how bad it is. Sample water when it's pure clear your done flushing. MARK DATE IT MUST BE DONE ONCE A YEAR. Oil were you live no more than 2,500 to 3,000 miles MAX, run Amsoil go on line to Amsoil order it by the case for the 10/40 and figure how many 10/50's you will need for that case to do it my way. 10/40 2 quarts and I like to put one quart of 10/50 so for your bike that's 1 10/50 and 2 10/40's and what ever top off is been a while I think that the right amount off the top of my head. I like to try to do the flush and oil at the same time and go over every nut and bolt total check up. Use K@N oil filter hand tight you can change every 2 nd oil change. Buy in bulk from Ebay the CBR600RR and MT09 uses the same oil filter. Glade to see you have the pit bull stand pick up a front stand. You can get a full SERVICE MANUAL ON LINE I have one for every bike, print out the job your doing have it there with you, pick up a torc wrench $40 check ebay, use the torc specs given. Don't be afraid you can do 80% of the proper maintenance your self. It was a mess but you learned and next time will be a breeze. And hay check your air pressure before every ride get the FOBO you can use on any bike you have play with it and you will find the best pressure for your riding style and save money on tires in the ling run also check out BREAK FREE ASSUME WILL SAVE YOUR BACON. YOUR FRIEND GUAMKID 😈

I need a torque wrench for sure! I'm hitting the oil change mark soon, I think I definitely need a big service: Valve adjustments, probably rebuild the clutch & cable, and probably the forks too

@@joeltnguyen Most of this crap is not hard just need 1. Tools $500 (long term investment) 2. Time. 3 Service Shop manual the same one the dealer has $10- $100. 4 PATIENCE and take your time double check your work get a friend to help even if he/ she knows nothing to minds work better than one when doing some of these things and can catch a mistake. SATISFACTION AND 🤑 in your pocket, new parts 🤔 Nice hotel room with the girl friend as you bike there 🤩😜 Me and my son do all our own work on all our bikes, together quality time together cost PRICELESS. We can change both the tires on your bike front and back 30 min max. Give it a spin you will appreciate your bike even more. 😈

@@joeltnguyen forks you will need some special tools but not that expensive the rest should just require good quality tools and a front and rear stand. Forks the seal kit is cheap if needed and doing just a fluid change piece of cake. Valve work photo and video the hole thing easier to put back together do that on all major jobs even if not going to be posted. Take your time do your home work get every thing you need before starting check list zip lock bags for bolts and permanent marker. you not building rocket ships, they just make it sound hard, research youtube you will find enough info to do almost any job on your bike, that and service manual and your on your way. 😈
