      It made sense to throw it on the lift at the time.. I really didn't think about the next steps at the time. Glad to provide some entertainment!

    I believe the forward controls mount on the outside of the motor mounts. At least mine on the 1973 does .

      I thought so too, but I do not think it will clear. It's definitely not the best setup for forwards. It's pretty hacked together, and the customer wanted to run them as is...

      Sadly I don't but it seems like on the days I have time to work on things, the weather likes making me miserable.

    Ha, that’s a 2011 road king Classic , i got one of them. Yeah those master cylinder covers are notoriously shitty, I’ve replaced mine at least twice!!! Replace it maybe just grease up the brake micro switch, and maybe flush all the brake fluid out and replace and bleed with new with the new reservoir cover!!! But you got this, you don’t need my two cents!!!! 👍🍺 SLICK

      I think he said it was an 06?? Too new for me, but it is sharp looking. I plan to do all of the exact things you mentioned. Parts box just showed up so I can button this thing up. Thanks SLICK!

    you need to start the top mount to frame to cylinders first

      I'll try that next time. I'll probably be taking this out again unfortunately, as he want's to swap out some fender/brake designs that will now need more fab.

      I couldn't agree more, but it was the closest thing I had... I think I at least mentioned it wasn't the right way to do that.. Thanks for watching!

    Not sure why you had 2 ramps on the trailer?😳

    • @WrenchingWrecked
      @WrenchingWrecked  2 місяці тому

      It's how the trailer was given to me. I planned to rebuild a single gate for it all summer, but the new shop ate up most of my time. Still on the list of things to do though.

    never have your rear mount tightened all the way first do top mount so to help alighn every thing yor fronts will be lots easier in the end everything you might need to drink sum budwieser they make the best shims if you dont do it this way your rear motormount will crack vibrate like crazy only thing that will do any good is a guys O lady .

      Well if there's a requirement to make sure to have some empty beer cans I'm in! You might be right on making it easier, especially with that front mount setup for the forwards. Thanks Brian!
