I had no idea if you guys wanted names of these products or links or anything so I TRIED to find as many of them as possible in the US, but unsurprisingly most of them are nowhere to be found. lol
Anyway, if I couldn't find it I put similar products or at least links to the companies that made them in the description!

+Rachel & Jun I've seen most of these around, but you have to go to Asian shops/stores. The snacks, especially, can usually be found in Japanese/Chinese/Korean supermarkets.

Considering I'm an only child and spend Christmas with just my parents and they sometimes mess up gifts (as in not necessarily needed/wanted/exciting gifts) both for Christmas and my birthday, I usually save my thanks until after ALL the gifts are unwrapped. They do this too on Christmas.
I was wondering when they would say thank you. I was brought up to say thank you when receiving a gift, but I suppose they weren't brought up that way. They seemed to enjoy their presents though so I guess they showed their gratitude indirectly. Maybe they said thanks after the video.

i have been in America for about 10 years. I am so familiar with how average white folks would react to foreigners and their gifts. Very typical! Some may come with a little bit fake curiosity and enthusiasm, though. But you can sense it that they are not very welcoming. Much better in large metropolitan areas or in college towns.Those white dominated suburban places are the worst.

I always get so anxious opening gifts thinking people will think I am ungrateful and don't like their gifts because of my face. Ah, the ripping open of presents almost hurt me physically, in my house we often re-use wrapping paper and open presents carefully bc of that xD

Man the best part of opening presents is to destroy the wrapping paper, you feel much more satisfying that way

I bought my family a bunch of food gifts for Christmas too, I got snacks from Japan, Thailand, China, America, Italy, Korea etc (we're British). Some of the snacks were so much fun as they were so different to what you get here...which is pretty unadventurous. I unfortunately didn't get to pick these gifts up in person, I bought them all online. Must say though Japan had some of the best snacks, though also some of the least liked. Haha.
Also your brothers are very handsome I must say ;) Also did I hear you say your sister studies engineering at uni? You must all be so proud, some of my housemates study engineering it's definitely a challenging degree and definitely for very smart people, and it's great to see more women in the field.
