I bought a lift 33 over the Hoyt Rx-8 ultra. I have to admit the rx-8 ultra felt better. The draw cycle was much better. I just didn’t want to have to take on the cost of conversion of all accessories over to Hoyt platform. Keep up the videos Colin!
I don't understand swapping the hoyt factory strings. Personally, I think they are solid, I wouldn't consider swapping them out until their time was up. Then again, that is just my opinion. That being said, you have a nice bow build. Hopefully, you will enjoy a successful season with it.
I like the mentality that you sell a product and you should stand behind that product, if you have the opportunity on a new bow to make sure that you believe in the product you should do so.
So much hate from Mathews lovers😂! I've shot mostly Mathews in the past (V3x 33 and V3 31) but this year I've had the chance to shoot the Rx8 and fell in love with the draw cycle! People should open their eyes and consider there's lot more options out there... So many great bows hitting the market this year 🤷🏻 Really to see you back with another great video!
On the topic of loops, there are some Pros who do run the knot on the same side. Id also "argue" the loop should be the other way because then your release angle and loop are working with another (Unless I have missed visualised something because its Left zhandrd😅) Now youre right it probably doesnt make a lot of diference but still interesting😅
Right on cool Hoyt Bow there. I'm happy that you are shooting a Hoyt this year. I also shoot Hoyt I've just recently got my new fully loaded Hoyt RX-8 with the Garmin Xero A1I Pro site too. I've got the 70lb limbs but the bow came from Hoyt come out hot at 74lbs. I love and I wouldn't shoot any other Bow manufacturer out there that's just my opinion but each to there own. At the end of the day you shoot what you like and works for you but enjoy your new Hoyt buddy!!!
@WolfinWolvesClothing713 What's the problem here buddy so I've got a device here that is 2 in 1 so why not take advantage of it. You do realize that you still have to practice shooting with it even it gives me the yardage. I just don't have to carry around a rangefinder that's all that is other than that like I said you still have to practice those yardage. Wake up buddy. Why you can't have one of those devices in your state. Sucks to be you if so!!!
@krisaunedi4920 I'm not your buddy, and I don't need a rangefinder. Been shooting for 27 years, killed dozens of deer, never needed a gay rangefinder, and never lost a deer.
The moment you give in because Left Handed Lift's are so hard to get so you settle for a 2nd tier bow. Sorry my guy. The lift sales are out of this world right now!!!!

Yeah the draw is awesome, but the cost is not awesome.
Nice bow. Glad your making content again.
Best day of the week a new video!
Great video Kellen! We hope those new Launch Series bowstrings serve you well this year!
Love them so far!
Great bow. Almost bought it, but for the difference in price the Lift was hard to beat this year

Part two coming up!

I really appreciate your videos. Thanks for sharing 👌👊
You betray me! A HOYT. I thought we were friends hahaha
What’s your preferred method for determining an archers draw length?

Nice !, I see VIAS limbs - what color is the RISER ?

Good job getting a sight that tells you instead of learning your yardage, and actually being good with a bow. Might as well be using a crossbow.

@@WolfinWolvesClothing713 “never lost a deer”? That’s a flat out lie or you’ve only shot a handful
Sweet! At your draw length which mod are you going to go for?
Heavier than a boat anchor…Hopefully Hoyt changes this! IMO
You're high. 4.2 for a 34 inch bow? Soo heavy!! Just put down your purse, and it'll feel better.
It’s under 4.5 lbs lol?
I cut my archery teeth on Kellen’s videos 👍
Where's inside out precision 😢
@@csoultrain80 I’ll be back! Been a tough year outside of work/archery. Things are settling down and I plan on getting back to it shortly!
@@InsideOutPrecision good to hear! Looking forward to it
I don't know how you come up with building a bow there is nothing there you made !
It’s a 3 part series man lol
This was just part one, part two and three are out too.
Finally off that Mathews bandwagon? Too bad it’s for a made in china Hoyt… The ABB seems to be ripping off the Ghost XVs.

That's so dumb.
I have a left handed Lift lol. So far this bow is shooting better for me.
