  • Today’s video brings us to West Ajijic and the community of Canacinta. There is a gated complex called La Canacinta in this area so do not be confused. We are in the community of Canacinta not that gated development. Today’s property does not have an HOA or any homeowner’s restrictions. It is an independent home nestled on a quiet cul de sac a block from the lake.
    The west end of Ajijic and Canacinta in particular have undergone a lot of changes in the last few years. Away from busy Ajijic you escape the crowds, traffic and the noise of Fiestas and busy weekends. In a lot of ways Canacinta is more like Ajijic was a decade ago but with amenities like a French Bakery, a Micro brewery pub, a weekly organic market, great neighborhood restaurants, a Belgian chocolatier AND Panchos (which reminds me of a North of the Border whole foods) ALL within your own neighborhood.

If this was my home I would be stepping thru that bedroom slider every morning and starting the day with a swim and then breakfast on this terrace.
