Today’s video takes us to the La Floresta area of East Ajijic with its treelined streets and fabulous homes set back on lush lawns.
La Floresta means “where the flowers are” and thru much of the year the streets are scattered with blue, purple and pink flowers falling from gorgeous blooming trees.
This prestige neighborhood has the distinction of former President of Mexico Gustavo Diaz Ordaz once living here.
Today’s home is walkable to the popular Wednesday tiendas or street market as well as a popular shopping area with a grocery store, pharmacy, gym, movie theater, restaurants, medical services and one of my favorite pastry shops. But what a difference those blocks make. You enter a world upon itself in a peaceful walkable location.
