- The golfing great was hurt in a rollover car crash in Southern California on Tuesday morning. Woods, the driver and only occupant of the vehicle, was taken to the hospital for his injuries.

For a vehicle that rolled over several times, it's looks in great shape, I honestly would buy a GV80 because of this. I mean, it's very sad that he has leg injuries now but the fact he survived is pretty amazing. I mean, I'd rather have leg injuries than head injuries and if we were talking about anyone else other than a sports icon, I think that would be the rejoice.
Hyundai kia cars are one of the most safest cars in the world. Very high ratings in safety. The Germans helped design and tune the gv80.

Shoutout to those neighbors that called the police. When my dad got into a solo car accident, neighbors said they heard a loud sound but never reported or checked for anything anything. Dad died and assistance did not come for hours.

Hey! I live 5 minutes from there! I drive down that street literally every day! I even got in an accident there back in High School. It was raining and I didn’t realize how slippery the ground was and there’s A LOT of sharp/narrow turns right there. That’s so crazy!
@Kris Pow I can't tell you how many times I see cars racing down there. It's one of those places where if you're not fully paying attention you can pick up speed REALLY fast. And what's worse is that PCH (one of the most crowded streets in the area) is right down the road. So people speed and they down have the time to slow down before they hit oncoming traffic. It's a really dangerous area...
Downhill sharp curves can be too easy too roll out on. Have to slow down.

Why does the media keep calling it a rollover accident? The roof of the car is the only part of the car that is not damaged so it definitely did not roll . He was hurt when the front of the car struck something substantial which forced the engine into the passenger compartment. The rest of the damage is from bouncing around in the scrub. This is the kind of thing that happens when you are not paying attention to your driving.

Actually...a LOT of people suffer from reflex and motor control issues following back surgery. Even if they're completely lucid and sober...some neurological deficits are not uncommon following significant back surgery.

I'm so happy to hear him doing well, his twitter does say his leg injury was pretty severe. Maybe this is career ending maybe not, either way Tiger is easily the best we've seen in golf and in sports in general. His influence is tremendous on so many of us, I am grateful to have seen him play golf for most of my life.

They say it's a notoriously dangerous stretch of road, I hate when they say that...if you rule out obvious causes like weather, being cut off, avoiding something, etc. If you are doing the speed limit, it's never dangerous!!!
The SUV doesn't even look that banged up. I've had accidents that look so much worse and walked away with a couple scratches.
When they showed the front end of the vehicle it doesn't even look that smashed up so I don't understand how he apparently suffered
