The only thing scarier than death, is perpetual life in a body and place nothing like your own, many years into the future, with everyone you knew or cared about long since dead. (Secure Your Soul ending)
I feel like Arasaka could definitely use V since the guy bested Sandayu Oda and fucking Adam Smasher, as well as dozens (if not hundreds) of Arasaka soldiers, all on his own. They'd have nothing to gain from betraying his trust but they'd have a very powerful ally to gain from giving him a new body. Hell, if you refuse their offer Hanako calls you in the credits and outright says they could use V's talents while he's still alive. And if you saved Goro, he will absolutely vouch for you, and Takemura's opinion absolutely means something considering he's the one who set everything in motion regarding Hanako and Saburo retaking control of Arasaka. And he was Saburo's personal guard. I like to think V would be named Head of Security in Arasaka since Smasher is dead. Selling your soul to Arasaka definitely nets you the highest chance of survival, but then again it depends on what you value most : survival or freedom.
True, but keep in mind, if you don't save Takemura, Hellman tells you that you mean nothing to Saburo, so he could probably care less about V, and there is nothing V could do if they keep him there. It's not like Hanako would do anything. As we could see during the first half of this end questline, she would do anything Saburo says. She like a dog is with their owner. She just wants to please her father, even to the point of helping him kill her brother to give him a new body. Plus, the contract V signed said Arasaka can modify V however they want. He's practically selling his soul to his greatest enemy. This in my opinion is too great a price to pay. I chose to enjoy V's last months the first time I did this ending.
