I enjoyed this delivery method - just Dan - as well as the slightly shorter format. Very helpful and digestible! Thank you!

Thanks for the insights, Dan. You’ve been pretty judicious about speaking your own ‘truths’ on the channel…often deferring to your guest ‘experts.’ I like to hear your informed advice as well.😊

The title of this episode should have a period after SANE! These 8 can apply to all of life’s situations. Thank you.

Good stuff! Also really digging a Ram Dass notion; bring meta specifically to the hard people in daily sits. Appreciate you!

Love this...very comforting on many levels. Amazing quotes and wise counsel from wisdom traditions ...and skillful humans. I think it will help me keep my shit together. 😊 I love a meditation on Headspace designed for politics induced panic...it's the mellow, soothing voice of Kessonga Giscombe and it's called "How are you doing, really?" 4 minutes of mindfulness checking in with self compassion. I do it every day...lifesaver!

Thanks Dan. This seems like a great list to choose from. I’m going to share this and make myself a written Cliff notes version.

As I am listening to Dan, the attachments to what I believe and the fear of change became obvious.

Really enjoyed your work on this. I believe it'll be helpful. I'm trying to limit my media exposure to sports and weather, but my success at this is limited at best.

Have you ever heard the phrase “you wouldn’t treat a dog that way”? I’ve learned to talk to myself as I would to a dog. I love dogs so I’ve learned to talk to myself very sweetly. It works!😂

My news consumption hack: I only read articles (from reputable and varied sources) about things that have happened already-not that might happen in the future. Limited analysis, more actual reporting.

I think your neutral stance on the election coverage /subject brought a new perspective to my plate. My adult children are mostly of a different mindset than me when it comes to who they would like to see in the White House and their phone calls are pretty comprehensive in this realm. They press their points of view but pretty much are not interested in my opinions on the candidate of my choice. Your podcast was very helpful to me in the talking points/strategies you voiced. It gave me much to think about to be able to maintain my neutrality and let my children own theirs. Please continue these pod casts.

Hi, Dan. I've followed DBT (marsha linnehan) for many years; it was the open door to mindfulness, which is my best friend. I am really old, and remember when dinosaurs roamed the earth. I wish you could just come to the point from the very beginning. But that's just my opinion. I am not acquainted with listening to podcasts, but I do listen to audio books very often. Hopefully, i will become more patient with every listen. mahalo from hawaii.
