Diving deep into the lore of what are the Backrooms at the moment for one of my game dev projects I do on my spare time and while listening through some backrooms themed music I found that one song was featured as a backrooms tune and then I also noticed very soon that - Damn! this sounds almost like the Bertha theme but creepier! What is common with backrooms themed music is it sounds in general like creepy muzak wich is logical as the Backrooms try to give the feel of abandoned malls and similar liminal places. Im also working on a Bertha themed game in Unreal 5 and im thinking of giving it some backrooms feel as well. I have already decided its gonna be a bit on the creepy side since before. I actually looked up this sound track now to download and apply some effects to it like slow it down, and add some creepy retro echo to it and use as the games intro theme. Might be copyrighted though, idk. The game Is just a fun little spontaneous idea I got last summer whie roaming around what looked like some old industrial housing area and then I got a flashback to the Bertha series and if I could maybee create my own little story around it in a game engine. I grew up with the Bertha series as a kid and after getting myself a 3D printer recently I started watching it again while running the machine. After all a 3D printer is more or less a Bertha and like her it can manufacture more or less any item from just a g-code file and a roll of plastic, although Bertha is a little faster then my 3D printer. :)
