This song really speaks to me in a personal way. My dad's had several work trucks throughout the years, two of which he still has to this day, and we gave each one a name and a personality. It may sound silly, but I think that's part of what's kept them going all these years, despite a few hiccups along the way. Even Dad's employees usually take to calling the trucks by name within a few weeks of working with them. I can totally see this series being rebooted as an animated film, with a message that a little TLC can go a long way, no matter who or what it's for.
That's a really sweet story, and I like the idea about the animated film. Wishful thinking, but that message is still relevant in modern days. I wish you, your Dad and your Dad's trucks the best :)
I mean, looking back on this, the creators of this show must of realized that they conceptualized the first 3D printer, in the 80s-the 80s-of all things.

Is it me, or did preschool shows of the day have better theme songs than any other? I would probably say this is one of the top 3 for best and catchiest of this category.
There are four things someone could think of whilst watching this: - Nostalgia from watching this in the 80s - Thinking this sounds like music from Thomas - The elevator to Hell from Eddsworld - Paul’s Vids’ Shed 17 prequel
Yeah it’s a good thing poor Thomas the tank engine fireman Sam bob the builder and postman pat didn’t make it because of the reboots. But Bertha charlie chalk Joshua Jones tugs Theodore tugboat roary the racing car and Toby’s travelling circus are the only survivors left........
Oh memory lane, I love the theme and the tv series. I still have the tapes of this that I recorded all those years ago. It's hard to think that they only made 13 episodes of this show
Thanks for uploading this onto here. I've not got the soundtrack album but I've got this extended version of the theme tune on a cassette called Themes From Children's BBC. I copied it over to my Ipod and I've listened to it many times on the journey home from work/college in the evening.

So this was the song that played during the elevator scene in "Hello Hellhole" from Eddsworld. It's quite catchy. And apparently from reading other comments this was made by the same people who created Postman Pat and was suppose to be it's successor but ultimately that didn't happen bc PMP blew up clearly. I only wonder what it would be like if it was still airing to this day.

BBC / Woodland Animations 1985-1986. En la Tv pública de Perú se emitió entre 1994 y 1996. Se repitió por última vez en 2000. que gratos recuerdos.
