Same! I actually have a theory about it! Basically, many years ago, ancient Minecraft players lived in the deep dark but eventually a strange gas was leaks from a strange block someone found, when the gas reached the players they were mutated into wardens and “ creatures of the deep dark “ however, after the wardens eventually were killed by the wardens after they were left abandoned, the gas put more of the strange blocks that player broke but it needed to spread more, so when a mob dies, it spread. After many years the gas was gone and it was safe to explore, but that didn’t mean the wardens disappeared. Anyway thats my theory! Sorry if it sounds really out of reach or vary incorrect I just thought I’d share my theory with you all :3
I think my favorite thing about the Warden and the frogs is how fluid their animations are compared to the rest of the mobs. Makes me wonder if they're planning to give all the mob animations a refresh, which would be incredible.
@azmain sadat azan no, the Caves and Cliffs update is the only major instance of them having to push certain features off, but most of that is due to the sheer technical challenges that came from overhauling Minecraft's entire world generation mechanics, and the added immersion and complexity of the deep dark. Most likely updates will return to normal, and what they say is what we'll get, plus lots more, especially in this case, since half of what we saw was concept art since they've just barely started on the Wild update
Hopefully because these updates are lacking a lot of content. Like seriously, a single java mod could easily beat all of this because it has more content.
The fact they actually brought the swamp update back makes me think that maybe there's a chance some of the other eliminated votes WILL have a chance to come back
Possibly, but only if it can only be obtained after the player manages to raid a deep dark city without being killed. Either way I'd prefer a different method to avoid the warden
Looks like they're finally getting around to the biome vote updates. Personally can't wait for the badlands, savanna and desert updates myself (which are a long ways away as they all lost the vote, with the desert being the second in the vote so it's gonna be added first, probably). Meerkats are one of my favorite animals, and so are vultures and ostriches, so I'm pretty excited for them, plus those biomes feel very, very empty and that would add a little more atmosphere (well, the desert is supposed to be empty, but it would be nice if they were a *little* less barren).
I think a lot of (if not all) biomes are getting updates, and they showed an example of that with the birch forest, so these biomes may get some stuff.
I thought they was only going to add the losing biomes from previous votes, but the new birch forest gives me so much hope for so much more. I just hope if they do update all overworld biomes they have they’re own content like the biome votes so a new mob, tree etc, so for example new birch forests gives us bigger trees with mushrooms on them, deers and a new village or structure
I kinda feel the Warden is the Crabsquid of Minecraft. Located really fucking deep down, similar creepy noises, tons of damage, cool design and amazing to watch.

Yeah, and it almost feels like the blocks themselves are evil, with basically (from what it seems) trapping souls, and the more souls it traps, the more the blocks grow oh so more monsterly. Honestly, it doesn't even feel the warden is the true big baddy, it's the blocks. Remember these blocks are alive, probably even sentient. Most people would probably sat that the warden uses these blocks to kill, I say these blocks use the warden to kill. The warden is merely a servant, a pet to the sculk blocks, that is made for and by the blocks.

Its not like a creeper falling on you, you control its spawning and you have to deal with the consequences immediately.
Minecraft has gotten so complex over the years and since its a game about imagination and creativity as long as community votings for improvement in the game make it one of the best games out there
While everyone is talking about the deep dark or the warden, I think the mud and mud bricks are really a great addition to the game! They should add a specialist potter villager with a potter's wheel as a new job site since the stone mason is too overloaded IMY. Plus it'll be great once the archeology update starts and we actually get pots which we can buy from/sell to villagers.
The deep dark city just sounds like mojangs excuse to add a horror segment to minecraft, horror as in scared of losing all your stuff so far down from spawn and having your stuff despawn horror
Mojang could have made that the glare will be able to detect nearby hostile mobs and give them the glowing effect so you can see them. But is what it is
Im actually really surprised the allay won, I’m not complaining since It was my favorite out of them and I thought the copper golem would’ve been added, but I was barely seeing any people who like allay.
Yes!, Glare is Important or more important. Because we don't know how Warden Will spawn. So Glare can detect hostile mob or can detect if warden Will spawn at dark
With the new fireflies itll be really cool if you could collect them in a jar (and you can stack 8 flies per jar max) and not only can you breed frogs with them, but also use it to brew a new kind of potion that decreases the amount of sound you make when you move. a funny little nod to botw AND really good to use when comming across the warden!!
Now that Steve has to manually pull the chest his power output has upped by a chest full of Shulker boxes plus a boat someone might need to get on that
Wow that's amazing, I like how they did that with the Warden's intelligence so it can hear and smell you coming because it's blind! Minecraft has really out done it! Love it tho, I can imagine what future updates will be like: Breathtaking and incredible.
The chest boat is gonna be an amazing edition to my idealist minecraft lone wanderer gameplay So glad as well that swamps have been given attention I love them so much and they can be so pretty irl
Homie cracked a code here. We need thies shiet in the game. New possible avenues for trading? Npcs that arent another undead. Non hostile unless provoked. Like the farmers that can farm except you can pay them to mine for you. That was an incredible idea kid! That shit is blazing son!🔥100%
I won't survive at the deep dark cities, first cave sound effects now scary dark cities 😃 but i like the new update since they finally added another type of swamp biome and finally give some mobs for more realistic view
Since the warden sniffs the player, what if it stops being able to smell you in water, but it can still hear you. But if you come prepared with a water bucket you wash yourself before going into the deep dark so it's much harder for the warden to smell you. You know since we work hard building and running from mobs it encourages players to control smell and bathe. We will start to see bathrooms in houses because you can now bathe. What a cool Mechanic they introduced! The sense of smell! I guarantee the warden will be attracted to other mobs. I doubt it's just going to be the player and the warden in the deep dark. What if the mobs have the same mechanic (except zombies because their flesh is rotten and smelly anyway you look at it) but skeletons can wash off, spiders are too loud but since you washed off he's more attracted to the smellier mobs. Kind of like a gamble. Am I going to get closer to the skeleton to attract the warden to the skeleton and off my trail and wash myself and go dark again from the warden site to give you a little bit of a chance. That would be so much more convenient having a skeleton in a corner that you got cornered into because the warden put you there, kind of a last redemption. The sense of smell would be so vital in that type of scenario. if mobs had different smell levels and sounds levels it could make the deep dark that much better. But seriously zombies and skeletons would be perfect in the deep dark. Skeletons for arrow distractions and zombies for smell and sound distractions. imagine the maps being made with this concept! Also easier to an extent for us who suck at living and prepares people for their hardcore encounter with the warden.

We need more of these "useless" Passive mobs to give more life to the world. Bats are so useless but it gives chills in the caves
Minecraft has gotten so complex over the years and since its a game about imagination and creativity as long as community votings for improvement in the game make it one of the best games out there
@projit your is Fortnite content which is pretty dead at some point
They should add "tadpole in a bucket" so we can capture them, like fish and axolotls

Load about 10 stacks of frag fireworks in the inventory
While everyone is talking about the deep dark or the warden, I think the mud and mud bricks are really a great addition to the game! They should add a specialist potter villager with a potter's wheel as a new job site since the stone mason is too overloaded IMY. Plus it'll be great once the archeology update starts and we actually get pots which we can buy from/sell to villagers.
Tommy new favorite block
I really hope they change the texture of it, that's my only complaint as mainly a builder haha
I would use it and use a special texture to make it look like Harry Potter X3

i smell way too much lore about the deep city
@@chair._ Yeah there must be a LOT of lore
Yes
Mojang could have made that the glare will be able to detect nearby hostile mobs and give them the glowing effect so you can see them.
But is what it is
Im actually really surprised the allay won, I’m not complaining since It was my favorite out of them and I thought the copper golem would’ve been added, but I was barely seeing any people who like allay.
I wanted the glare :(
Yes!, Glare is Important or more important. Because we don't know how Warden Will spawn. So Glare can detect hostile mob or can detect if warden Will spawn at dark
i just realized that the deep dark is technically going to bring the cave sounds to life

Also easier to an extent for us who suck at living and prepares people for their hardcore encounter with the warden.
ooh yeahhh, that's a cool idea!
I never thought bathing in a game would be interesting until I read your comment LOL
