The igloo probably has the ice so that new players if they don’t know about the secret trapdoor, have a chance at finding it if they use the furnace.

Well basically, it was supposed to be how you unlock the trapdoor but nowadays you just break the carpet
Only on Java. The ice doesn’t melt in bedrock from the furnace’s light. On Java it does though.
The Igloo's window is placed there,
because when a starter player uses the furnace,
the ice melts, washes away the carpet, and reveals the hidden trapdoor.

Holding a bow horizontally is apparently a hunter thing, both allowing you to get a better view of your prey and allowing you to crouch to keep a low profile.
"Klaatu Varada Nikto" were also the words Ash used to activate the Necronomicon in Army of Darkness. Which is more likely the reference that is being made because some of the other words are "Cthulu", "R'Lyeh", and "Ph'nglui" which are all H.P. Lovecraft references as is... The Necronomicon. Minecraft is basically implying that the book on the enchanting table is the Necronomicon.
I was about to comment something about army of darkness being the more likely candidate but ya beat me.

10:47 I think this is just for logic reasons. How does the player cut the logs into planks? He uses the saw. How does he make metal tools and such? He uses the hammer. This is just my guess.

The fossils near the Strongholds actually make for great lore potential. Just imagine how, in the ancient times, beasts were protecting the Stronghold from intruders. This ties in with the ancient builder theory, where supposedly they activated the End Portal in order to escape the Wither, which means that they either killed the beasts, or they went extinct because of them.

I already knew at least like 9 of these. I don't remember all the ones i remembered identifying myself, but i know the grass path, the weird later version block having basically the same sound as the nether portal, the fishermen one, and the zombie horse texture having a saddle, the night vision in the end, the water fov thing. I do not remember what else, but i think they were two... they just seemed less relevant to me, i guess.

The furnace probably melts the ice so that it destroys the carpet. This allows new players to find the hidden room.

Actually using the furnace was how I discovered the first time that igloos can have secret basements with villagers.
I didn't know that thing about beds and iron bars speeding up un-zombification, and while I did know that minecarts stacked on top of each other would move without rails I didn't know they would go over 1 block gaps.
The water source for the igloo is meant to break to break the carpet, revealing if the igloo has a basement or not

Fact 27 is actually used. If you E-ray in Speedrunning (A possibility to find bastions) you can subtract M and C from the Entity counter. For about every thirty entities left you have a bastion loaded.

about the illusioner holding the bow sideways: it wants to be a pillager and have a crossbow but it's broke
Number 2, spiders can spawn naturally with invisibility potions,just like enderman and they're eyes with glow in the dark, this works with phantoms as well, it happened in 5:33
The reason the igloos exist, I suspect, is to be a wordless tutorial on how to cure villagers. The trapdoor leading to the underground portion (where present) is covered by carpet so you wouldn't know it was there without prior knowledge. However, if you use the furnace, melt the ice, the water wipes away the carpet to reveal the underground portion to people who didn't know!

The ones i knew were:
The villagers sweating during a raid
the full moon thing
the minecart thing
The respawn anchor nether portal connection
The cave eerie noise name
The path block arrow thing
The rain falling above the clouds
The saw and hammer on the crafting table
The illusionar unused mob
So i knew 9 of them
I knew most of them but didn’t count, now all those skip the tutorial videos are paying off lol
7:59 I just realized why the ambient sound of the respawn anchor is a reversed version of the portal sound
its because the portal animation on top of the block is reversed
I think the used portal sound in the comparision is incorrect tho, you can hear the anchor's has the dripping sounds that are easy to notice in the portal's ambient noises but not it's travel noises.
The portal also emits those sounds

The stronghold part in the beginning of the episode is a good way to speed run in Minecraft when you’re trying to beat the world record. oh and is there any other facts besides them
Fun fact (if it wasn't in the previous videos): a birch or oak sapling with a flower next to it has a 5% chance to grow a tree with a bee nest.

The reason the igloo window is meant to melt is that new players would have no clue that there is a hidden chamber under it. So, to solve that the team made water flood the room breaking the carpet.

Number 5, Crafting table saw and hammer,this is very crazy,crafting tables were first added in 0.32 our current update is 1.20 they will probably add the hammer and the chainsaw in like 1.25 and did you know it is similar to an anvil with a hammer sign after you name,enchant or uprading stuff.Anvils were first added in 1.4.2. This part happened in 10:51

Kinda sad to realize that people forgot about spiders naturally spawning in with potion effects on hard mode.

10:53 You can actually use the M and C entity count to see if there is a bastion near you in the nether. If you add them both together, and see if the sum is bigger than the count of total entities (2nd number of 5th f3 line), then you most likely have a bastion. This is mainly used for speedrunning, but still a cool fact for videos like this :D

the music to day thing i actually noticed myself, the one at sunrise is meant to symbolise a new day, the midday song is representing adventure, and the sunset one is meant to represent your journeys end, a kind of FIN
Yeah me too, I played so much Minecraft that I eventually started to notice that certain tracks started playing when night came, never looked anything up about it though, guess I just didn't think of doing it.

Fun Fact: Bedrock edition only has two tracks, which are meant to sinc up with the night and day cycle. However, sleeping will stop this, as the tracks keep playing no matter what.

It is completely legit. Using this correctly will put you within 600 blocks of the stronghold every time.

I didn't know about number 6, but I know something super close, there was a bug in an older version that made Iron Golems kill villagers, it is known as The Blood Golem!
im pretty sure the hammer and saw on the crafting table is implied to be the tools that the player is using to actually craft
they dont just make slabs or stairs with their hands, it would make more sense to use a saw, especially when the player doesnt have any tools in their inventory
you still gotta think about how strong the player must be to be able to smash cold solid bars and gems into tools

The entity counter thing is used in speedruns to find bastion remnants
A saw would be nice for making wood stairs or slabs. Like the stone cutter but for wood.
The flower pattern is made with Perlin noise. Perlin noise is used in games for a lot of things like terrain or the flowers pretty much anything that you want to be randomised.
Perlin noise is godsend for all programmes

If you didn't know, the Far Lands is caused by octaves of Perlin noise collapsing on themselves.
I knew 9/37 of these and I remember the first time I cured a zombie villager in my creative server with my brother I spammed iron bars and beds everywhere. I think they’re still there.

if the classic fish texture was kept on the villager, that means that technically that fish is still in the game, but no longer obtainable, making that fish species in the technical sense, extinct, and making that single villager type incredibly valuable.
or maybe those villagers just killed off all the classic fish because they were weird. who knows.
That fish is now the rarest item in the game

My Theory for Fact 11
Maybe a Full Moon can Control Mobs. Like Wifies said, Slimes are Large, Spiders have a Chance to Spawn with the Invisibility Effect, and Cats have a 50% Chance of being Black. A Full Moon can Control Slimes, Spiders, and Cats like How it Controls Werewolves and their Transformations. So a Full Moon maybe Creeping Up on us.
And to be Honest, Mojang should make Wolves Howl on a Full Moon.

When you dig through files long enough, you learn alot about the game no one would know. The flower spawn rate map has to do with numerical values that biomes and flowers have and its practically always going to be like that.
And the moon ingame is amazing. Crescent moons cause stars to be somewhat brighter, while a full dims the stars if you stand still.
But did you know slimes don’t spawn when the moon is not out
All those moon facts actualy blew my mind. I knew of course about the changes in slime spawn, but everything else is new to to me. I had never noticed that invisible spiders only spawned during full moon for exemple

Maybe the lead attaching to the players hip signifies that you clipped the leash to your belt.
11:31 This mob counter could be used for mob farm information, so people on multiplayer maps can see if caves are full of mobs that would otherwise spawn in a farm for loot

38: in 1.12 (and probably older versions) you can use a water bucket to remove end portal blocks, disabling that portal.

No, I don't think that it's "hinting" at anything. The tools on the sides of the crafting table are the tools that the player uses to craft. They saw the planks, hammer the metals, and use the pliers to place the finer details. It's literally just a texture.
