I used ACV at night for a week. I also wash off my dog's paws, esp. between the digits, with a clean wet washcloth every time he comes back in the house. Cured his licking and no more red irritated paws. I think the dirt and enviroment debris was feeding the problem. Thanks, Dr. Jones.

How about Tea Tree shampoo? I find it work much faster. Thoroughly wash the effect paw and within 2-3 days my dog was no longer lick his paw.

Our dog was chewing her feet raw. The vinager would sting. What finally completely worked was stopping all kibble & can food, grains & CHICKEN. We cook beef & sweet potatoes, spinach, carrots, broth, minerals & beet pulp. Her ears are completely healed & she no longer chews her feet or itches. Her energy is higher & her eyes don't run anymore.

This is off-topic, but maybe do a video on the dangers of scented litter. Our cat is in the veterinary emergency clinic from Lavendar scented litter. After we figured out what was wrong, we have seen hundreds of similar reviews of the product hurting/killing cats.
I have used this, but I have found washing his feet with povodine iodine and a little dog shampoo works too.

Moisture in the ear makes it worse! Our vet used an ear drop that worked immediately. Then drops every weekend for swimmers ear prevention. thanks y’all! my poor hound’s left ear just does not want to dry up! 2 different vets haven’t been able to help. I recently switched to 1/2 kibble 1/2 dehydrated food and I noticed an immediate improvement in the amount of goop his eyes make and energy levels. I’ll keep making changes!
My dog wouldn't stop licking his paw and it turned out he had 2 dif antibiotic resistant infections in the nails, they were cultured for sensitivity, that he ended up spreading it to all 4 feet by LICKING THEM... He lost that battle after 6 moths of throwing everything at that infection too. Take ur dog in when it won't stop licking it's paws and have them checked in person by a professional. Don't waist time trying home stuff and make ur dog suffer longer than it might have too with posible infection. Your dogs worth it.

My dog has been licking and scratching his cahoonas and under his back leg area ever since we bathed him in a new shampoo without a pressure washer so I was thinking maybe some soap stayed in his crevices..
Today I let him soak his ….. in just a teeny bit of Dr. Bronners soap and a little vinegar. If he’s still itchy I’ll try the green tea mixture. Sorry if that was TMI..😮

My veterinarian said my dog has autoimmune disease and he gave my dadsund female dog prednisone. I do not know how long she has to take steroid. So far she took steroid for a month already. I worry about bad side effects. What can i do to help my dog be healthy again without licking her paws. She licks less with medication. Thank you Dr.
You need to stop prednisone slowly. It shuts down the immune system & takes over the immune system also. Our dog chewed her feet raw. I would do more research on this because keeping your dog on prednisone long term is not good.
@@runner2008 thank you. My vet told me to stop prednisone to my dog and wait and see if she will or will not lick her paws and if she act normal. She stop taking medicine for a month now and she is ok. I am glad.
Should you refrigerate it to store it?
I would think the acv would burn when applied to cracked skin. I would instead use calendula ointment.

My senior has peeling and separation around the perimeter of both front paw pads after incessant licking of the hard edges. Currently using Povidone rinse nightly after two rounds of antibiotics and every home remedy and a Cone! What is the cause and cure?

Yogurt is great to add to their diet daily! Added to their meals helps with allergies & amazing for their skin & coats too.
My fur baby is is in horrible condition she has had a skin issue for 2 years. I changed her food which helped , but she is now constantly licking her paws and scratches her face and ears or rubs them on whatever she can then she licks the area she rubbed...now my other pet has started licking her i have to separate him because i feel he making her worse amd not letting her heal. Could could it be a fungus and they keep spreading it to eachother?? Sorry for the long comment! Help!!
