Really impressive how light you got the build carrying an HD action camera. The image quality looks good especially when you consider how small and light it is. But the most impressive thing is how you can tie knots in dental floss that holds. 👏 Happy flying Albert 🤓

Very cool mod to the Meteor75. How does a pusher style setup fly compared to the regular setup Albert? I have a m75 as well, may very well convert it for fun at some point down the line to have something different to fly...
I talk about it in detail in the other videos. Basically, I prefer it and feel it flies better and more locked in.

There is some jello . It looks like you could get rid of a decent amount of the jello with a 3 point mount of the camera. Maybe a small reinforcement at the top connected to the frame.

I'm quite impressed with the video quality! It didn't look as good as this in other reviews I've seen. What color correction and lens correction magic did you apply?
Just added some saturation and contrast and used distortion correction in Adobe Premiere.
What about you opinion about the color correction now? Did it make it worse? I like the pusher setup with the thumb on top of it 👍
Not sure if it's better or worse... the exposure is way to high so the highlights are completely blown out and unrecoverable.

Good video. Was wondering if you notice any performance or handling having the motors inverted?
Inverted always feels more locked in, less prop wash, and a little more power/authority... especially on yaw turns.
@@AlbertKimTV OK, thanks for the feedback. I have several tinyhawk, a 2 and a 3, they are so smooth and fast when tuned. I also have a moblite 7 which I am considering doing what you did on your mobula 7. Maybe with the in version it might just make it float like a tinyhawk.

The only thing I wish they'd have changed about the thumb is the camera orientation. I would've loved to see a variant with the lens on the end a la Runcam 2.
I know the difference is negligible but having an offset of the lens such that it's not on the axis of rotation just tickles my OCD the wrong way.

Hello. Albert could You explain in details how did You power/solder the 2 wires to the meteor fc board? Where exactly? My meteor 75 2022 elrs does have only one 5v and the VTX is on it. Where can I power the thumb?
I have 2 wires soldered to the same 5v pad to power both.

No
If someone does not know what any of those things are (motor mapping exc) then thy should not be building quads.
They will anyway but I have to give the disclaimer otherwise they will claim I said it was easy for everyone.

Yeah, the camera gets knocked off up easy enough to put back on. However, the camera's electronics are exposed so best to cover it up with some tape or something to prevent the components getting knocked off.

Still not working yet.
You fly smooth enough, as far as I can tell the Thumb really, really likes to jello. And no stabilization is going to fix that.

@@AlbertKimTV Well, we shall see when it gets out for the public and they get creative with it. Insta306 did exactly the same thing when it was released, for some reason it seems to be difficult for them design the camera for the market they're shooting at🤷♂😆

Not a big fan of having two camera. Should have just a good cam and share the video for both fpv and dvr. And hopefully they have fpv video with stabilization. Motion sickness is one of reason that stop me flying my drone whole day. Not to mention my fpv rc car bashing experience was 🤮.
There are cameras like you describe (cameras with one sensor for both HD recording and FPV) but they all have pretty big issues. The HD recording isn't amazing, but more importantly the FPV feed has way worse delay (and looks worse) than standalone fpv cameras. That's why most people prefer separate HD and fpv cameras whenever possible. Having video stabilization in the FPV feed would just make the delay even worse.

Thank for info and yes I was awared the video lagging/delay while try to use one cam for both fpv and dvr on quad. But that was before hdzero and now video transmission quality is way better. We should try image stabilization chip+dvr+sdcard on goggle and not on the weight sensity quad. Something like: Onbard cam->hdzero->goggle->image stabilization->fpv screen&dvr. But sadly don't think there is any Fpv goggle equipt with video stabilization on market so far.
