Just ordered via your link. $279, includes extra 16 ft speaker cable. Different link actually but yours took me to Amazon. D300 $378 with extra cable. Thanks.
Very nice review but I would cut out the introduction and incorporate that stuff into the latter half of the review. You should have talked about the sound quality first instead of at 5min and at the very end. This way people are more likely to hear it as a lot of people only watch the first couple minutes. I enjoyed the whole video tho.
hi sid, great non pedantic/no audiophile bs content, simple and clear information on the subtleties of hifi, did you quit the audio hobby or do you do audio reviews somewhere else on the internet ?
Hello Sid, I have a few questions regarding to D200, I am wondering if you can answer these: 1. When you turn the power on, does it remember the last input setting? (like Aux/optical), and it is the same when you first plugged it in the power? if not, which input does it set to when powered? 2. Does it go into a sleep mode? if so, when? I turn off my system with a powerbar, so these things are important if I am using a pair of speakers. Thanks
I'm going to buy these, but question first. Does the sound alter with different input (analog vs. digital). It looks as though these have onboard DSP Does this work same with analog/digital input? or does DSP only work with digital input? And which sounds better?
So the bass is satisfying, no need for a sub, but not overly clear or detailed bass? Does that mean it's muddy? Would I be better off with d300, m300mkii or m500 to get better bass? 🤔
these powered speakers seems to be a good mix of convenience and sound quality for the average listener.but at this price why not go for studio monitors made by audio engineer driven companies that also do the dsp tricks for $400 such as kali lp6 v2 (these do not hiss like other great studio monitors such as jbl 305). at these prices we are also getting close to good budget passive speakers such as the debut 2.0 b6.2 you previously owned how do these compares ? thanks
Can u do a sound demo with heavy metal and electronic/bass heavy music. Or at least say if they sound good? Being V shaped for heavy metal, do guitars sound good (the s3000pro didn't, guitars didn't sound grungy/meaty). And definitely no need for a sub for electronic music?
I liked how the cons part immediately changed into pros until the end. I got the D100 and planning to get this D200 for future upgrades
Me too when Zeos said the upgrade to this is Swan the M300 Mk II

What bluetooth codec does it transmit? Aptx-hd?
What is the difference between M and D series? Let's take M200 and M300?
Nice job, thx!
Nice Review ! Would be good to know your opinion or Review on the Klipsch Fives ! thanks
Hi Anand. Ya never tried them. Maybe I’ll try to get a hold of them.
@@sidsreviews1110 yes look at borrowing it from a friend or a nearby dealer 👍
Should compare to the Fives.
Klipsch The Fives killers!
I think Ill get these over the D1090 bc they are better for the desk, smaller, and the same price.

I'm still here yes. Just haven't had time to create new content yet. I plan to do so at some point. Cheers !

Hi, how does it compared to R1700bts? Does it provide more neutral & natural sound?
These are much better in every regard compared tp the Edifier's I reviewed. Different class of product.
The upper sonic range is 20 khz and not 20,000 khz. The "k" means one thousand, hence 20 khz = 20,000.
How does this compared to the d100?
I'm going to buy these, but question first.

I honestly didn't notice much difference between all the inputs.
Need help please
D200
M200 MKiii+
Audioengine A2+
Which one should I get?
I love clarity and don't really like boomy bass
I can only speak for the D200.
So the bass is satisfying, no need for a sub, but not overly clear or detailed bass? Does that mean it's muddy? Would I be better off with d300, m300mkii or m500 to get better bass? 🤔
Depends on the room and speaker placement. If you adjust the placement, the bass can be clear and not muddy.
@@sidsreviews1110 where should the placement be in 20ft by 20ft living room?
About 3 feet forward 7 feet between and 9 feet back for listening to start. Play around from there.
How are the dynamics with these? Some people who have bought the D300 seem to complain that they sound a tad compressed.
Dynamics play GORT from The day the Earth stood still. Blow you away!
Did you try it? What was your take on these?

I don't do sound demos as I don't have good recording equipment.
compare to klipsch 15?
These sound much more fuller especially the bass.
