    I can see a difference. This is very intriguing and if you add up the cost for each modality on a separate device, this single device might be cheaper.

    I'm so glad you recorded this video. Please let me ask the question some Viewers have already asked in the comments below: Would you swap your long tested radio frequency + microcurrents routine for Slimax?
    This device seems to promise such quick treatment times and such versatility. Treating face, body and scalp with just one device may indeed justify the price tag. Buying separate tools for different body parts may not come any cheaper at all. It is also good to know Jovs states that you could use other skincare products along with Slimax as an alternative to their beauty potions (and Slimax original kit is about $200).
    On their website Jovs mentions that Slimax, apart from pulsing microcurrents/EMS and their laser function, also uses mild ultrasound (they mention this in the blog). This device claims to treat more than jowls! They state:
    'Body Sculpting: Reduces stubborn cellulite and burns fat with regular use. Clinical trials show that 100% of users saw a firmer, more toned body after the full treatment period. Smooth crepey, loose areas practically anywhere on the body including arms, thighs, and stomach for defined contours.' wow!
    I am definitely in the market for buying an antiaging and preferably multitasking device. In my opinion regular exercise and rather healthy life style has stopped serving me as my only antiaging strategy. But making a decision is harder than I assumed.
    I may buy it, still weighting it against Lumo and still discovering new options like the Amiro U1 Ultralift Jodylyn has just reviewed.
    It just cooled me off a little bit when I started checking Jovs return policy. One may want to have a chance to opt out from a project if it fails right in the beginning. Buying Slimax would not be a frivolous purchase. Perhaps the treatment would bee too uncomfortable for me to use it. It would just be a nice option to be able to return it if you do not like it.
    On the website they advertise Slimax along with their 90 days money back guarantee. It shows Slimax is in fact not eligible for the policy. They are quite vague about returns guidelines for this device. They have said you could return it after using it if it is not damaged and if you send it in the original packaging. Theoretically you could return it within 90 days once they 'review and accept' your application. It is not clear what are the criteria for accepting an application. They also say you would have to pay import postage charges and '30% restocking fee'. I asked them what this means but so far I have not received a reply to my email.
    Have you got some experience with Jovs customer service?

    I definitely think your after has some increased volume. And IMO, any amount of volume after 70 is always a plus. lol Not sure about it decreasing the zygomatic arch area, but maybe a little volume there too? Interesting device but pricey. Crazy what “tech” keeps evolving!

    TJ from TJ tutorials has also been using RF for many years. But his face looks like a different person now. With all these UA-camrs I see very minimal results over the years, slightly less wrinkles but no real lift. Yet his transformation is miraculous. I can't believe he had no work done because everyone would look that much better, but they don't.

    • @AgingNaturallywithJodylynn
      @AgingNaturallywithJodylynn  2 місяці тому +1

      Hello! So nice to hear from you. I watch TJ and he has great videos! He does a lot of things at home and he recently just got his esthetician license and is now able to purchase the professional RF devices. Those devices will definitely get you better results compared to at-home. So, I do believe he has made huge changes based on what he has available to him. I feel, that I've made huge progress in my skin and I've never had any work done. I use a good skincare routine, SPF daily, microcurrent, RF devices and chemical peels. It took time and when you are dong things at-home it will take much longer than going in-office. Most people don't want nor have the time to do these treatments at-home on a consistent basis which is why they "claim" they don't work when in reality they just can't stick with it long enough to see results. If you look at the man, Bryan Johnson, who wants to live forever, he does ultrasound and RF treatments on his skin (using more professional devices) but my point is he has made great changes and he doesn't get plastic surgery, botox, fillers. He wants to get the skin working more efficiently rather than masking the aging process; through Botox, fillers and surgery. (nothing wrong with that) You can do that! I've done that. But please note that everyone's expectations on what makes the feel confident is different. I'm very happy with my progress thus far. I can tell you at-home beauty devices work, if you are willing to put forth the effort and have patience. You can see my journey here: ua-cam.com/video/CVpzpPGoZLo/v-deo.html
      And that is what I talk about on my channel. I hope that helps! Thank you or watching.

      @@AgingNaturallywithJodylynn I read all the studies and there is definitely a mechanism of action that makes sense. BUT, I am very skeptical that even at home RF and ultrasound devices don't destroy the very important subdermal superficial fat we desperately need in older age. It is heat that disrupts the fat cells and permanently damages and disregulates. I haven't heard any updates from Bryan Johnson and his team on his thoughts on RF and ultrasound. He does look better, but he had soooo much done it's hard to say what actually worked. He does exosomes and stem cells too and lives a life style none of us can. As far as TJ - well, he had serious fat loss in his face in earlier videos with major skin laxity. Now his face is full, with a fuller more chiseled jaw and no hollows under his eyes. No skin device can do that, only fat grafting. Even weight gain in your late 40s won't add much volume to the face. I have been consistent with so much "proven" tech and skincare and yet see no major improvement. I remain skeptical. I understand most people give up too soon, but there are countless stories online of people crying about the pro level RF devices damaging their skin, fat layer, and make them look older. I just don't know what to believe anymore. The industry sponsors it all.

    Thank you for sharing the details. The one question I always have for these devices is the gel to be used with it. I am from India and these gels are not easily available here, buying from another country and paying the delivery,customs would cost a lot.
    I own amiro R3 Turbo device and now I am looking to buy this one too. Can you please share what are the alternative gels which can be used with this?

    • @AgingNaturallywithJodylynn
      @AgingNaturallywithJodylynn  Місяць тому

      I have not tried the Skeenpatch. I don't buy the hype to not use EMS. I've seen no studies that show at-home EMS isn't good nor safe to use on the face. EMS is great for the lower part of the face, and I've been using it for over 3 years. But some people do not like the feel of EMS because it is more intense.

    • @AgingNaturallywithJodylynn

      If you are using AT-HOME devices properly they will not do that. They have safety features on the device that won't allow that to happy. I've been using these devices for over 4 years. If they did melt fat or damage the skin, I'd know. Thank you for watching!

On emailing them they said and I quote , don’t worry it used to be called R1 Turbo. You and I know that is incorrect as R3Turbo is upgraded. Impossible to speak to anyone and R1 is cheaper so if I wanted that would have bought it. Can you intervene please . I already own the JOVS 4D face mask and the NIRA nonfractional laser devices (pro and targeting). I am in the process of looking for an RF device that will not compromise my metal crowns in two front teeth but I was adviced not to used RF due to the metal in my crown.
