Napa-click ako ng des oras nung lumabas 'to as notif ko HAHAHAHA became a pharmacist last year lang and tama po yung mga sinasabi ng interviewee 🤧 I chose pharmacy kasi wala pa sa family namin ang nagttry ng course na 'to and masyado na kasing overrated for me ang Medtech and ang ibang science course- gusto ko maiba naman 🤣🤧 Altho sabi ni mama noon dapat nag-Psych ako kasi "mas madali daw", I believe naman all courses are hard and depende na sa student if madali sya or hindi. Also ang challenging din ng pharma so dun ako natuwa 🤣
I think the best part of being a Pharmacist is to provide patient care especially 'pag counseling patients to further inform them about their medication.. hehehe 2nd yr pharma stud here, must say you must love what you're doing kasi kung hindi, pupulutin ka sa wala.. also, was surprised that I just turned in to watching this video while I try to find my pacing to do my worksheets... :)))
Shout out kay kuya na ininterview! You're the best so far among the other people who already got interviewed. Solid na medtech yung kukunin ko sa college. Pero dahil dito sa vid, parang gusto kong magpharma 😅
April and December na ata ang board exam ng Pharmacy. Im about to take the April. Huhu. But anyways, Pharmacists are one of the underrated profession. I even don't know about it until my father introduced it to me as i was about to enroll. But i learned to love and ever since i was a kid, i know ill be in a medical path. Also, sobrang true ng evidence base reasoning ng pharma students. In case studies, if you don't have journal bases, you'd get probably a 0 score. Hindi talaga yan pwede. Books are seldom used as bases. Puro journal talaga.
As a Pinoy living now in abroad 🇨🇦 i am very proud of our students in the 🇵🇭. Most were passionate in their field and really hungry to learn and be somebody to become an inspiration and have a purpose in the community. I am not that passionate in my education when i was a student but now whenever i get trainings and a like i get excited and enjoying it more thinking I could’ve done better. I am happy with my family life now and i am just inspired even though I’m not pursuing any med education. He forgot to mention the doctor of pharmacy degree sa pilipinas. It's a 2-year professional program after you complete the minimum 4-year pharmacy program. Sa US, yun ang required na degree na kailangan mong tapusin para makakuha ka ng license to practice.
Sa US, either PharmD or 5 years na BS Pharmacy ang kailangan na degree para magkaroon ka ng license. On top of that, kailangan mo pa rin mapasa yung licensure nila + FPGEE + TOEFL

I feel in with Franc thanks Doc for sharing this - Farma the Apothecary I agree with Franc all that he had said mahirap na masarap ang Pharmacy kapag very passionate ka talaga - to me very challenging especially in research dahil I have done through it when I was working in the laboratory back in the Philippines now since I am abroad my mind set is more on patient clinical settings and compounding sad to say I haven’t ladder up to go in medical school but I guess Farma is very wide and fit towards in medicine- I’m glad I heard this and congrats to students who will pursue this career god Bless!
Hi Doc Aura! Pharmacist here 🙋🏻♀️ and currently working in Mercury Drug for almost 3 years already. So in our setting, ang mga PAs talaga yung mga frontliners and sila yung nag-iinteract talaga sa mga customers. But in some instances, na whenever the customer wants to know something about his meds, for example on how to take his meds, whether it has side effects, or other drug interactions, the PA will always refer the customer, to us, Pharmacists para ma counsel talaga sila ng maayos. In my experience, our PAs have always been mistaken to be the Pharmacists and neglecting us, the RPhs in the branch. This is why I'm deciding to take the NMAT this March and hoping to pass and proceed, with the prior reason of uplifting my profession and letting the community and society recognize the Pharmacy profession as part of the Medical Field.
mahirap ang pharma di dahil sa math + science kundi dahil sa marami syang pwedeng papuntahan na fields (like business, government, medicine, research) which makes it have many different and complex subjects. i hope na pharmacy and other premed courses get more appreciated not just as a premed course but also as a profession because we are one in the health care system. LEZZGO FUTURE HEALTHCARE TEAM !!!

Hmmm pwede hanggang 5th year, kaso before mag 6th year dapat makapasa kana since clerkship year na yun sa hospitals/drugstores
ahh okieee salamat lods!!
Magkano po yung entry level ng pharmD?
Hi Doc Aura! Nakarelate ako dun sa "nagpharmacy kasi walang math sa pharma" HAHAHAHA 😂 pero nakasurvive naman and Registered Pharmacist na ako ngayon at balak magmed school sa next school year 🤞🏻🤞🏻😊
hala tips naman po :< First year po ako and online class sobrang hirap ng cheem
Hi po, may i ask if mahihirap po ang computations? HAHAHAH
Update 2nd year Medstudent na po ako yyeyy! 😍 thanks dok aura for inspiration! ❤️🔥✨
@@cadungogjhanna8828 hello, mahirap talaga yung chem pero mas makakatulong siguro if alam mo yung periodic table hehe may mga techniques naman 😅 Goodluck, Godbless you Future Rph ❤️
@@gerynevelasco depende hehe! Mas hirap ako sa computation na may halong chem pero pag dosage na, kaya naman may formula naman, input input lang hehe! Goodluck! Godbless you ❤️🔥
I am a Pharmacist and the guy explained exactly who, or what we really are. Lodi👏🙌
Proud Pharmacy Student Here♥️. I agree that Pharma is an excellent pre med course not only because it's in-demand but also it gives great foundation in medicine especially in Pharmacology because we discuss drugs names, MOA, ADR, SE, Doses, uses and different diseases even anatomy and physiology especially para and sympha Nervous system, vasoconstriction etc.
YAAAAS FINALLY!!! WILL ENROL TO BS PHARMA THIS SCHOOL YEAR ❤️✨
Good luck!!!
me too hehe medyo kinakabahan 😂
Saan po kayo pumasok?
1st year bs pharmacy student hereee!! this video is one of the reasons why I have finally chosen my premed course. ❤️❤️❤️
Napa-click ako ng des oras nung lumabas 'to as notif ko HAHAHAHA became a pharmacist last year lang and tama po yung mga sinasabi ng interviewee 🤧
I chose pharmacy kasi wala pa sa family namin ang nagttry ng course na 'to and masyado na kasing overrated for me ang Medtech and ang ibang science course- gusto ko maiba naman 🤣🤧 Altho sabi ni mama noon dapat nag-Psych ako kasi "mas madali daw", I believe naman all courses are hard and depende na sa student if madali sya or hindi. Also ang challenging din ng pharma so dun ako natuwa 🤣
Watch the Psych video next week hehehe
Guys april and december na yung boards ng pharma, this year. ☺️
Salamat!
Currently 1st year pharma student!!! 💜💜 I hope mas maappreciate nila yung field natin hehe!! Aspiring neurologist din someday! 💜💜
I am just feel honoured for having fellow kababayan sooooo competitive in a good way in their chosen careers.
Thank you Dok Aura and Doc Franc for sharing your thoughts and experiences.
I am also hopeful that yes 🇵🇭 pharmaceuticals become more effective and strict and informative in relation of drug prescriptions.
Kudos you both and Mabuhay ka Pinoy!
I am a 3rd year pharmacy student now and I chose pharmacy as my pre med 💕 I always wanted to be a doctor since i was a kid and pharmacy is my stepping stone to achieve my dream
Pharma student here 💜 #NoWayButUp

Nice!!! What's a typical work day like?
Ok guys, come to pharma hahahaha we're pharmacology experts.
Waaa this vid give me a whole new meaning about pharmacy and medicine
Very informative
Iba na ang way sa new curriculum I’m a 3rd year BSPharm in Bohol , ang rotation sa ibat ibang setting in 4th year na namin ma eexperience BTW nakaka excite 🙏🏻
grabe yung discussion na 'to! mas pinag-aapoy 'ung passion ko for Pharma. nakaka-inspire, i swear. lately, i can't help but think.. what's out there for me if i choose Pharma as pre-med? watching this, honestly, made me realize.. with the way the i am, it almost seems like pharma was created for someone just like me. thank you so much! best of luck in my journey, and to all aspiring pharmacy students. 🥺✨
Belated Happy World Pharmacists' Day!
Let's Go Pharmacy!! 💜
I am a senior high school graduate and I am going to take up bs pharma soon. ❤️❤️❤️

2nd year pharma student here from DLSMHSI, ate Au! I don't know if you still remember me but yeah 2nd year na po ako hahaha! From someone na ang dami-daming uncertainties dati nung senior high and now I'm here already, sobrang bilis ng panahon. I agree to kuya CALCULATION HEAVY SIYA at puro GRAPHS (If trip niyo mag-interpret kung ano ang ibig sabihin ng ibat-ibang itsura ng curves sa graph using various instruments, PHARMA IS FOR YOU HEHE) and yung theoretical concepts ng chem at physics minsan sobrang alienating haha! (Hi Quality control (equivalent to ana chem)) and physical pharmacy (equiv to physical chemistry)
Dati I'm certain na gusto ko mag med school after this, pero yung naging impact sa akin ng pharma so far is iba. Since this profession covers a broad spectrum encompasses the medical field.
P.S ate au, sa DLSMHSI din po may biochem
Yeeessss super easy to love nga ang pharma kahit mahirap sya aralin kasi kitang kita ko importance nya sa field 🙏 I'm happy for you!!
Finallyyy! I'm a second yr pharma student planning to go to med school. Thanks DoktAura! 💜
I'm a graduating senior high school student and I passed the AdU Admission Test and my first choice course there is BS pharmacy. After hearing all of this, some part of my brain just got really excited about what I am about to explore. Thank you for enlightening me! :))
Obb Hyuga hi! You can also check my channel for pharmacy related vlogs! Thank you!
Hail Pharmacy. Hi sa mga KaPharmacist and sa mga Pharmacy Student. 💓💕
I'll pursue pharma even more 🥺🤍 thank you for this doks!!!
been waiting for this ♡
So far, he's the best one na in-interview mo doc! Haha. I'm in Medtech but I am almost thinking about shifting to Pharma HAHAHA pero syempre joke lang 😂 He's really convincing and informative though!!! ❤ pero #LabanMedtech hehehe ❤
sobrang naenjoy ko rin interviewing Franc! very very smart and passionate ano po opo yuhhhsss
Me too magkacollege pa lang po ako ngayon and I'm struggling on what to take as a pre med course and really I already decided to take med tech but now my mind's in a hard situation thanks to Doc Franc......so far doc Franc is my favorite Kasi sa interview nya palang makikita mo talaga na passionate sya sa ginagawa nya....sana ako rin pagdating ng time 😅😊😚
Haha actually hiniram ko pang tong phone ni papa para makinuod sa channel mo Doc Aura pero di ko Alam napacomment ako bigla

Hello! I'm a Pharmacist and I am planning to proceed to medicine. And I'll be having an interview next week. Hopefully I'm going to make it!
I love this video :)
MAG INGAY BS PHARMACYYYY
Upcoming 1st Year Pharmacy student here and mas nalinawan pa ako kung ano talaga and true purpose ng isang pharmacist. Plus, mas naganahan akong i-pursue 'tong course na 'to since sabi ni doc franc, maraming chem and computations sa course na 'to which are my favorite subjects during junior and senior high school!! :)))
Sana all fav. ang chemistry!
I learned so much from him! Konti lang talaga alam ko about this so I'm very glad na I watched this video kahit na at the end hindi ko pa rin bet ang Pharma hehe But more power to all of our pharmacists! :)
YEEES GO PHARMA!!! 💜💜💜
skl, ust pharma curriculum is only 4 years (previously 5 years), pero may choice to continue sa 5th year as to become a clinphar (BS Pharmacy Major in Clinical Pharmacy)
Currently Working in the Industry.💖💖💖

grabeeeeee naman video na to i love it!!!
Pharmacy student here!!! ❤️❤️😊
Pinoy talaga ate February na pero andyan parin ang Christmas Tree hahahahaa good vibes lang ah ahhaha same namin dito sa bahay namin hahaha but yeah thank you for this video. I actually just finished my Pharmacy course this year. Sadly, because of COVID, wala pa yung grad ceremony namin but I'm happy how he explained our course so eloquently. Spot on talaga and may times ako na guilty rin kasi akala ko memorize lng ng drugs ang pharma pero boom math at chemistry ang heart ng course na to haha I am also thinking of proceeding for medicine so this was a very helpful video in helping me decide that. Thank you again! ^__^
He forgot to mention the doctor of pharmacy degree sa pilipinas. It's a 2-year professional program after you complete the minimum 4-year pharmacy program. Sa US, yun ang required na degree na kailangan mong tapusin para makakuha ka ng license to practice.
Yan lng ba ang required kapag sa abroad ka mag aaply as licensed pharm. Yung nkatapos ng Doctor of Pharm?? Kasi I thought kailngn pa magtake ng exam
Sa US, either PharmD or 5 years na BS Pharmacy ang kailangan na degree para magkaroon ka ng license. On top of that, kailangan mo pa rin mapasa yung licensure nila + FPGEE + TOEFL
NAPLEX din
Omg!!!!! That is my lil' (not so lil' anymore) brother. 🤯🤯🤯😍😍😍 #ProudAte
Heeeey sobrang galing ni Franc sarap interviewhin!! Wowow 👍👍
Thank you Doc. Wow! Parang ako ang na interview. 😁 I'm just such a proud ate. 😂
On another note, I am not in the medical field but these are really good videos doc. Could be a lot of help for young kids who are still trying to figure out what they want to pursue. 👍👍👍
I do agree on your opinions Franc. Im proud of you!
Thank you Doc ❤ BS Chemistry/Biochemistry next pls... 😉👆
Yes please ❤️

FINALLY!!!!!!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH 💗
Thank you for this vid doc.🤍🥺
Doctor of Pharmacy call and address here in the US and the provider works handy with pharmacist as a team it is the role of pharmacist to give the provider an overview the possible drug interactions our body may occur in different ways ( our body is designed to its pathways kinetically) to be a Farma is no joke is science combo of BiO- Chem- and drug expert dispensary- it’s amazingly fulfilling and know to learn to love ❤️ what you do….
Finally😍 thanks doc! 🤘🏻
Hi DokAura! My friend took Speech Pathology and he was also a PLM grad. He tells a lot about the edge of taking this course as pre-med and he's now a medical intern and will be taking board this year.
Can I ask?~hihi How much does the Pharmacist earn?
Im soo excited to get through my BS Pharma and take up MED afterwards 🤧❤
Thank you for making this video and inspiring me to become a pharmacist!💕 I'm actually torned between pharma and archi:
Uy same! Kamusta kana now?ano tinake mo? :>
BS CHEMICAL ENGINEERING AS PRE-MED, DOC. PLEAAAASE!
Really need this one before class time doc
mahirap ang pharma di dahil sa math + science kundi dahil sa marami syang pwedeng papuntahan na fields (like business, government, medicine, research) which makes it have many different and complex subjects.
i hope na pharmacy and other premed courses get more appreciated not just as a premed course but also as a profession because we are one in the health care system. LEZZGO FUTURE HEALTHCARE TEAM !!!
im a graduating pharma student and na-enjoy ko pcol 2 tbh ahe
Ang ganda ni Doc Aura, artistahin talaga.kahawig sya ni Lanie Mercado at magaling pang doktor
