I went back to school to pursue secondary education (bio sci) thru eteeap. Hopefully, makagrad na this april. Watching your videos makes me crave for science like I used to during my younger years. Im reliving the moments when I was dreaming of becoming a doctor pero malabo talaga financially. Siguro science research na lang pinakamalapit.thanks for the inspiration po Doktaura
Next topic Radiologic Technology. Please doc azarcon🤗
BS PSYCHOLOGY naman doktAura! :)
yeeeessss bs psychology naman doktauraaaa baka namaan 🙌🏻
Waiting for nursing next!!! ❤️
Doc please also make a video for courses that are not typically Pre-med to spread awareness that anyone can become a doctor regardless of degree. To inspire those who wanted to proceed but the circumstances before didn’t allow. That there are really people who proceeded despite the risks, fear and uncertainties for their dream and made it. Godbless Doc!
yes! for sure!
Thank you for this series, Ms. Auraaaa 💖 I am an incoming freshman tapos sobrang dami kong natutunan. Waiting for your next uploads before I decide on my pre-med course (although nakaapply na ko sa up and ust pero feeling ko I made mistakes sa chosen courses ko 😟)
anong courses nilagay mo? haha
@@AuraAzarcon Yung priority course po na nilagay ko ay Biochemistry for both schools though feeling ko po nagugustuhan ko yung Med Tech at PT. May nilagay rin po ako na Biology. Tapos may pinili rin po akong related lang sa med kahit di as pre-med na backup in case di ako tumuloy: Public Health and Microbiology
Mag-aapply rin po sana ako sa DLSU-D sa straight med nila (i have to rewatch ur videos again bago po magdecide fully kasi feeling ko la salle talaga po bagsak ko hahaha)
Pero dahil two schools pa lang naman po naaapply-an ko, sobrang helpful po nung series niyo 💖
Occupational Therapy din po sana, Ate Aura! Hehe. Torn between PT and OT pa rin po. :((

Hi Dr. Aura, I'm an aspiring doctor here and I am deeply happy that you are making these kinds of videos to guide aspirants like me, I am planning to take PT as a pre-med however gusto ko din ang respiratory therapy (RT) since I want to be a pulmonologist, it would be of great help if you would make this same kind of video pero About sa Respiratory Therapy, thanks you so much pooo

Thanks for this amazing and enlightening video Doc Aura. Kahit mahirapnat times, laban lang mga ka-PT! And got get that PTRP, MD 💛👨⚕️👩⚕️
thanks for watching!
go ka-PTid! I'm a physical therapist as well :)
Nakakatuwa lang na may ganitong context kasi karamihan hindi aware sa BSPT. What I really like about PT is the physical interaction between therapist and the patient.
yes sobrang daming natututunang practical kapag close ka sa patient, hindi makukuha sa textbook lang.
Thank you first year pt here nakak motivate yung may ganito na content sa youtube
thanks for watching! :) hope you can share to your fellow first years!
How about BS in Nutrition and Dietetics? :)

Hii just wanna ask super struggle po ba talaga makahanap ng job??? San ka po nagwowork ngayon???
YES! Struggle is real AF. Hospitals only need max 5 to 8 PTs. But if you want you can apply clinics/fitness hubs. Salary is the biggest struggle rin. It’s quite low.

Hi OTs! Can you enlighten us about the biggest difference between PTs and OTs? Forgot to ask it in the video :(
Hi @@AuraAzarcon ! Generally, PT'S help patients progress FROM point A to point B. OT's enables patients to function WHILE at point A and point B. both therapists work hand in hand in rehab.
@@AuraAzarcon We do functional activities doc that are meaningful to our clients so that they can return to their occupation. A client-centered profession.
Occupational Therapist are often more functional when it comes to treatment. For example po, a patient with R CVA L hemiparesis has difficulty na with day to day function katulad ng pag kain using the affected hand or going back to day to day activities such as cooking food, dressing oneself independently or any activity that the client values.
In short po, we help our clients engage in their valued activities thru restoring function, remediation or establishing new skills . 😄
