Trading for Poeltl was a ridiculous decision from Masai. Made Toronto's own pick worse in a good draft and cost them a pick this year. Poeltl is a good centre, but the Raps weren't winning anything regardless.

Nurse didn’t walk, he was fired…Raptors weren’t paying Vanf 40 million and Yak is worth an 8th pick let alone a salary dumb (Birch’s contract). Raptors are far better off with tons of option including all their own picks now. Just watch…it’s just far ahead of a rebuild, in fact, they need to develop a better bench. When healthy, they are so much fun to watch ❤

This FO did a terrible job at building around Pascal. Vision 6'9 set this team back 2 years ( who knew negative floor spacers around a best player would be recipe for success) 😞.

2020 in the bubble he had a good team and he shit the bed.. Problem was building around him.. Should have traded him way sooner.

Appreciate it, Daniel. We'll be doing a podcast every week in the playoffs, plus plenty during the off-season.

Sell all players older than 27 (except Kelly Olynyk)

Build around RJ and Scottie…you’ll be fine Toronto. And, stop crying. It could be worse. It was a coup getting 2 young studs in RJ & IQ, plus essentially a late 1st rd pick, for Mr. Glass whom’s due a big payday. As a Knicks fan I wish we had RJ and IQ.

Look, OG and Spicy P were drafted lower than 19th.... The front office tried to keep the team competitive and it didn't pan out for a bunch of reasons. At this stage, look at the East for this year, next year, etc... Indy is in the East Finals! Wolves are in too! Raptors can be a couple of years out with the right moves. Starting today (forget the past).... BBQ stay, DIck gets starting minutes and GTJr walks. Brown hopefully gets flipped for a cheaper younger bench piece or a better draft pick. Boucher goes to a contending team. #19 fills a hole as either a future starting C (Ware?) or back up PG (Carter?) and hopefully get Dunn at #31 as D wing who improves his shooting. So next season gives us BBQ Dick and Jak as the starting 5, then Olynyk, Agbaji, two draft prospects, maybe McD gets some time and a couple of vets. If that doesn't float, Jak gets traded after the holidays to move up the draft and Raptors get a high draft pick in a stronger year with a better core that has had time to develop. It's not easy to move out of the middle of the NBA, let alone come out of the bottom.

We trade Brown + Poeltl + Boucher and picks for Josh Giddey + Jarret Allen + Collin Sexton and WE'RE BACK BABY!!!!! solves all our issues back up PG starting SG and a younger starting centre then with the 19th pick grab Zack Edey as back up centre

Yes because you can just make teams give you quality players for your weak assets. Nobody is giving up top end talent for those players you named.

Masai wanted to give that core a chance and he did by giving them a starting center. Giving them a bench too would have been good as Nurse had zero patience to develop you guys. Now is chance to develop the next bench mob. We may need 1 and 2 year stop gaps depending on who is picked. Fans will need to be patient as whoever we pick will need spend time in the G league. Not asking for stars, just role players.
