Is it possible to translate that into any language accurately? The first time when I watched that movie with my maternal language translation, Croatian, I found it very inspiring. By the way, English and French have one grammatical case, German four, and Croatian seven.

As a no less skilled killing artist than a poet he bests them all in their game of physical violence, and when they cannot kill him with blades or firearms, even when he survived lengthy and brutal 17th century - Jacques Callot brutal, and much much beyond - war with the Spaniards they had to ambush him when he is older and wearier, when wandering trough the streets enclosed in a complex poetic world - mirroring his own complexity amidst utter disdain towards mediocrity and stupidity - he is to be squashed by a common, banal, improvised booby trap-like contraption. Only then, when dropping his guard, do they finally “get” him and as a great man (of, for, in and by literature) he dies amidst pigsty we all live in surrounded with few human beings who cared for him. He dies the same way he lived - with sword in hand, with kindness, pathos, carefully bred nobility uninterrupted by accidental incidence of death and supported in this rare case with an actual talent and moral virtue, and what’s more important - he dies as an artist of the rarest kind - with poetry in his heart and on his lips. The finest portrayal of a character that I have seen on any medium. This adaptation is just that, an adaptation. I would have enjoyed the missing scene with "The Orange Girl" but Cyrano's duel with the 100 assassins is a welcome addition. This to my mind was Cyrano I in the flesh with golden workload that move me to tears.
Oh, how I loved that. I'm shortly off to lead the funeral of a member of the Synagogue I serve. He deserves - and will get - the last words of this as part of his eulogy. Rest in peace.
Honestly they are not that bad, they just forgot "la lune opaline" at the beginning which means "the opal moon" and at 1:08 "qui fut tout et ne fut rien" means "who was everything and who was nothing" also at 2:25 its more about "lies" than "falsehood"
Shame on the Academy for not rewarding him with the Oscar; breath-taking performance...

There are many ways to phrase it.
