I'm a big fan of the F1TV crew. Their shows are fast-paced, entertaining, informative and they focus on the racing (or lack of it). No American-style hype and superficiality. Laura takes her work seriously and it shows.

As a 50+ male I applaud women like Laura claiming her place. Never been a token in my eyes.
Even better than her Sky F1 counter parts.

So great to see this interview. My wife and I both love Laura as a leading part of the F1TV broadcasts. She’s genuinely a part of what draws us to watch, and specifically to choose the broadcast feed she’s a part of.

"You will get to where you want to be".
I disagree - you will get to where you deserve to be.
It's up to you to deserve what you want.
    Congrats Laura x.

F1TV is not everything we want to watch. We want 24hr coverage of each race...from Wednesday until the teams pack up on Sunday/Monday. SkySports has more coverage than F1TV. Like between warm-up show and Practise 1 there is a truckload of behind the scenes information, people want to know. Even how the paddock gets erected or how teams prepare for race weekend. Driver preperation before qualifying. Even safety updates. In-depth engine upgrade inserts on each team before race day.

sorry folks but I find her a cross between wooden and jolly hockey-sticks and who appears as though she’s reading a tele-prompter (she isnt) … the regular guys that surround her are far better, and there are great alternatives, see below
I believe that Jennie Gow, Natalie Pinkham and Rossana Tennant are far more informed and knowledgable, and they speak accordingly each with a n individual character that better suits the situation

@@TheMotorMouthPodcast yes … rowing and cycling amongst others, popular speaker too (and she’s had rather nasty and rough times to cope with too)… good in one thing does not mean good in another, never has … just does not cut it in F1 for me … scripted and wooden

It's funny how, after being asked a question, the guest feels the need to tell the interviewer, "that's a good question". That is offensive to me, because it's blatant patronizing. If anyone ever said that to me I'd reply, "of course it's a good question, I'm a professional question asker". I'm not asking questions like, how many apples would it take to make a banana pie? The answer to that question is, it depends on how many apples it takes to barter for a banana.

Usually "that's a good question" is not that deep nor personal...In case you didn't know, people mostly use this when being surprised by a question or unprepared at all for, and need some time to think about the answer (at least, somewhat more time than for the other questions). It's literally not that deep.
