- Fitting a new pick guard to a brand new Squier Telecaster and doing some finishing work that was skipped in the factory. These guitars have decent components but are built in a hurry and are thrown out the door as soon as they're vaguely playable - with a bit of attention they can be turned into fantastic budget instruments.

Thanks for watching!
Thank you for fixing the guitar up for me it plays really great I love it
No worries, glad you like it!
That black guard looks really good with the newly oiled neck, especially.
Awsome vid man, I enjoy watching your videos and learning more about setting up guitars even if it's just little things.
Thanks very much!
big difference in the guitar. looks nice
Top tip lad
It's served me well!
It looks really nice,,
Yeah, turned out well!
@@MinimGuitars The black pick guard makes it look much better.
@@krakatoa1200 Yeah I think so. A darker cherry might have looked okay with white, but this bright red suits the black.
It looks a lot better! It plays a lot better too.
Cool! Yeah it did feel a lot better when I finished. I'm glad it was such a noticeable difference.
