Seems good to me, ordered 120rds of .308 in the middle of an ammo shortage and a pandemic. Received my ammo in less than a week. Looks good have not shot it yet. Thanks freedommunitions.
I’ve used your company for four years. Excellent customer service. I shoot .357,.45 acp and your 5.56. And I’ve never had any problems with your ammo. I just ordered more two weeks ago and it was at my door in a week. Great company. Thank you
My transactions with Freedom Munitions have been as they should be. Very professional group. Extreme quality, fast and efficient shipping. Never an issue and always dependable!! Keep up the great work and quality production. I could not be happier nor more impressed!
I am part of a group of "GREAT AMERICANS" in Arizona that have group ordered over 4 million rounds since Oct 2013. Freedom Munitions ammunition was a great value for the both reman and new. Over this time we had about a half dozen issue with their ammunition starting with inconsistent loads involving 44 magnum rounds to mostly failure to feed (brass sizing issue) and had one issue where a 9mm reman case ruptured and blew the magazine out of a pistol. In all cases Freedom took care of the issue so I can't complain about the customer service. The last couple of years the prices continued to climb as you could buy "major" factory ammo ie Federal American Eagle or Winchester White box cheaper and when buying via the net get free shipping and no sales tax. Even with purchasing in bulk, the pricing didn't save us any real money versus other outlets on the amount we were ordering every three months. Then last year when Freedom got into their bankruptcy issues they added shipping costs and the price for this ammo both new and reman was not competitive at all so we moved on. Glad to hear there is new management and only time will tell and show where Freedom will be or wants to be in the secondary ammunition market. Its a very competitive market these days but I personally believe that prices can still come down and still have a profit margin that is profitable as I think the ammunition industry has soaked the consumer long enough. Good luck to the new owners.
Thank you for buying and continuing Freedom Munitions. I just bought 350 rounds on 1-1-21. TargetSportsUSA is always out of ammo, but when they have some it’s around .60 a pop. I got carried away with my new Sig AXG Scorpion and burned through 200 rounds of 9mm and 100 rounds of 40 Caliber upper ( that I put on my AXG’s lower. You helped me replenish my ammo this weekend.
I've been using you guys for the past several months. The customer service has been nothing short of fantastic, the products are amazing and the shipping is on point. Every single person working for you guys deserves a raise for the good work they've been doing.
I, too, used to buy Freedom because their reload ammo actually shot cleaner than many of the new ammo out there, and it was reliable- my orders always shot perfectly every time with no misfeeds or bad primers. Ever. Also, it was affordable, ESPECIALLY when they offered the occasional FREE shipping. Sadly, when the common standard pistol and rifle calibers were constantly out of stock, I stopped even bothering to look at your site. Now we all understand it was the bankruptcy issue. Truly it was sad to see things heading south for you guys but I am seriously looking forward to your return and domination in the market! WELCOME BACK, man!!
I have to say I've shot a bunch of Freedom Munitions remanufactured 5.56 and Remington .223 and I couldn't be happier with the quality. Not a single misfire and the bullets performance is excellent. Thank you for producing a quality product and I wish the best for you going forward!
I worked here for 5 years and just came back and just want to say you have an awesome dedicated group of ppl working to make high quality products for you and I enjoy being apart of that awesome team of ppl who can help get you guys the quality ammo you deserve!!!!
Loved the product and prices for a good while until most of what i searched for online was sold out, so glad to see someone has bought into this idea and a great business! Good luck and I look forward to supporting you!
Started using Freedom Munitions several months ago. Just ordered two more cases of new 9mm 124 gr. I will be buying all my target ammo from you as long as it runs as well as the first case.
Glad you're back. I did very much appreciate your HUSH line in 9mm for silencer testing. If you need any reviews of your ammo once you're back up and going, I'd be more than happy to review your ammo again.
Freedom Munitions was the first place that purchased ammunition when I first became a firearm owner. I am pleased to hear that you have bought them. Please stay strong and know that I an others want FM to make it and thrive. God Bless!
Back before NY went full D-bag with Herr Cuomo's (un)S.A.F.E. Act I used to order thousand of rounds from both Freedom Munitions and LAX. I don't recall ever having an issue with either reman or new ammo. Customer service was also excellent. Best of luck with this new venture. I seriously miss you guys! [F-Cuomo]
You guys need to drop prices a bit or offer some discount codes on shipping or a certain percentage off to really get customers back. A lot of people ended up with blown up AR’s using reloaded ammo from Freedom. People are still talking about it to this day. But when the price is right people are willing to give it a shot. The 5% and free shipping on select stuff is great but it does not cover the 223 5.56 ammo much and that’s where the money is.
If anyone can make this succeed, Dan can. I've dealt with Dan in his Southern California businesses for years, and he always has top notch quality, competitive pricing and is surrounded by great people. Very glad to see Dan here!
Pretty sure I just bought ammo from you on gunbroker. Same username lol. 380 acp...anyway. Glad you kept freedom open, I’m in Idaho and love their line.
How did this go for you? I’ve been looking for any recent updates or reviews on FM but it is scarce. It would be great to see some current update on the state of things. I took a chance and placed an order and hope it is worth it.
my brother had his AR-15 blow up on him from using freedom munitions. when he reached out to them, they told him "sorry theres nothing we can do". I used to buy Freedom Munitions, but after that experience, i will never buy from Freedom Munitions again.... Dont want my rifle to go KA-BOOM!
You joined at the right/wrong time. I'm sure business is booming and flying off the shelves. But now there is a shortage... Bitter sweet. Good job though man!
The main problem was the pricing I think.. reloaded ammo nearly the same price of the new ammo was ridiculous. But also re-manufactured ammo being close to what I can buy ammo for at Walmart was a huge problem!
Would you put your 5.56 or .223 up against Lake City ammo? Do you supply ammo to any police department and would you put your ammo on a battlefield in a soldiers rifle where his life depended on reliable ammunition? Does your bulk ammo actually come as 1000 or does it alway come as 1 or 2 more, since counted merchandise has to at least equal the box label?
Hi Dan congrats...i have been a long time customer mainly because they had a retail office in Houston where i live, spent thousands of dollars going in to stock up on all my guns !!!.mainly because i got bullets i didn't even need on their black friday sales...OMG....lol...went in for some 9MM walked out with way way more than i needed....lol...will you ever be bringing a retail store back to houston??...i have been getting my bullets from different companys sense they closed store...mainly cause it took forever to get shipments!! goodluck in the future and i would be more than happy to give you guys another chance if you keep the prices right and throw a bone once and awhile with those special black friday sales....thanks D
Always had great results shooting the 9mm 147gr reman and new whether at the range or competing. Glad to hear you are back and look forward to your products and hope product pricing and shipping costs/service remain competitive.
Any recent feedback from anyone on ordering from FM? It’s hard to find any recent info on this company which doesn’t instill confidence. I took a chance and placed my first order (items in stock) so I’m crossing my fingers and hoping it gets shipped in a timely manner, and that it’s solid quality.
It's legit. I placed my order Jan 22, 2021. Shipped Jan 28, 2021. Received on Feb 2, 2021. I'm impressed with the product. 9mm 124 grain, .223 Rem, and 12 gauge slugs. So far I'm loving the shotgun shell because it's blue. I hope that helps.
I just ordered my first 62gr fmj .223 x 1000rds from Freedom Munitions . I had order 9mm and used them with no problem about 8 yrs ago and here’s to hoping the quality is there since it obviously had been some kind of an issue. I look forward to my order being fulfilled with top quality reliable ammo.
Was always a big fan of the products, but after a point, they were always out of order and could never get more. Congrats on the buyout and saving the company. Will order again soon.
2/5/21....I just bought my first box of freedom ammo at my LGS to run in my Brand New G3c...hope it works out well I was hesitant after reading some past reviews we will see!!😁
Been buying all of my projectiles for reloading from Xtreme for the past year. Good product , shipping is quick , and they always have calibers in stock.
I was gonna say the same thing... I loved Freedom Munitions. I went to LAX Ammo there out of California afterward and have been very happy since. (Since you're originally from the CA state, how can they manufacture and sell from the state, I find it odd CA hasn't found a way to shut them down).
Don't make the same mistakes the previous owners did. When ammo was scarce they sold ammo at a decent price. When ammo was abundant, they didn't lower their prices and I was buying major manufacturer new ammo cheaper then their prices.
Its gonna be great to have you back! I've shot Freedom Munitions for years and love the brand and the prices. I've had to find another source in FM's absence, but i look forward to returning as a customer and pewing freedom again! WELCOME BACK!
I have used the 9mm and .40 HUSH lines with my suppressed weapons during tactical practice, AND the real deal (stand off situations). I was very pleased. I used the 9mm, .40, .45, 5.56x45mm, and 7.62x51mm nato ammo for the longest for 3 gun and practice. I would LOVE to see you bring a NEW manufacture ammo in those calibers in a hollow point form... a NICE hollow point form, like the Critical Duty line from Hornady, but better.
Idaho needs a great munitions supplier and one that will listen to the needs of the Idaho people. I look forward to a support system that will be there when the customer needs them. Thank you for believing in the future of Idaho's Freedom Munitions and Extreme Bullets!
@@Drumminsince89 - I am not. They have increased prices dramatically due to the combination of (a) the gouging taking place in this time of increased demand (due to COVID, riots across the country, and anti-American/anti-2nd Amendment politicians in control of our government), and (b) the company being sold, that I'm not buying ammo for my personal use at all anymore. It's simply crazy expensive. So I've stopped going to the range at all and an maintaining what I have in case it's needed for personal protection. As far as Freedom's quality, I've never had a problem with that. But I have to say, it's not like I'm expert enough to know why people by ammo at "X"price for Freedom and Winchester, but will pay "4X" for Hornady. I mean, how much better can it be for 400% more?
@@KailuaDoug the prices on freedoms ammo its what the market currently is. Yes the price of ammo is still high but freedom has it in stock. You can find PMC bronze (referring to pistol ammo) stuff at a good price in today's market but freedom is very close to it's competitors. Do you recommend this ammo?
I'm grateful I can usually buy ammo for my 45acp xd. Just got some of your xtreme 230 gr. Jhp. Can't wait to try them on Paul Harrell's soda jug test and his meat target test. I wonder if I have to get his permission to give an ammo review using his target names?
Been using xtream for a few years now, great bullet great price. Last order was around a month ago and it shipped right away, think it even showed up a day early !! Keep up the good work..
Hopefully, you will have a specialty ammo segment to your buisness.....by that i mean hot loaded carry/business ammo like the former cor bon......buffalo bore.....underwood......etc....but lower priced! be a good chunk of change coming in there!
Congratulations on your new start up. I pray that you prosper as you grow and improve upon your products and ideas in the firearms, Ammo, related products industry.
I'm not a high volume shooter, but for the few thousand 9mm and .38 Super rounds I reload per year, I use Xtreme bullets. Good to hear I'll still be able to get them. Best of luck moving forward.
I would love to work with you guys on making some copper plated slugs with a powder coating and resized after the powder coating to be .356 The reason I would like to get them powder coated is so that people like me can use them in their air rifles and not have to worry about the extra friction from the copper. This could be a whole new market for you guys! many air rifle hunters would love to use your copper plated bullets, but unfortunately due to the increased friction from the copper and decreasing air pressure with each shot that it’s more likely for a copper plated bullet to get stuck if shot at low pressure. But if these were powder coated that wouldn’t be a problem.
Good video, thanks. I still have several boxes of Xtreme bullets sitting on my shelves bought last year, so was unaware of any financial issues with the company. I’ll look for any new emails and will be sure to stock up on a couple of other calibers. I use Zero bullet for jacketed bullets generally, and Oregon Trail for hard cast lead, but have always used Xtreme for everything else.
Congrats and good luck. I used to get ALL of my reloading bullets from Extreme. (Tens of thousands in multiple calipers) I stopped ordering from Extreme because prices just kept going up way too much to the point where Extreme was no longer price competitive. Wait time wasn’t an issue with me as I usually ordered large quantities well in advance. Become super price competitive and I’m sure everyone will flock back to you. Best wishes.
Awesome news!!! I'm glad to hear of this. I'm not a huge spender but the bullets I did order did take a little long to receive in the mail. Something I didn't care for was the delay in money coming out of my account. I like when I hit the buy button for it to be deducted from my account as soon as possible. Not two weeks later when the package was shipped. I'm truly am excited to hear of this great news and will be ordering soon.
I can sympathise with your growing pains and taking a while to start firing on all cylinders, however when we can go online and find better pricing on comparable products, with quick shipping and tracking numbers, patience will be growing thin. I'm willing to give you guys a chance because I was treated well by FM in the past. (And I love Idaho and the people that live there!) Wish you the best of luck getting this thing moving.
Im new to Freedom Munitions as of tonight really. I pray that you guys make it through this craziness going on right now. please make some more 9mm , lol. I hope you find primers and all of the items necessary to make it. Companies like this will see us through these hard times
Hopefully you'll get things turned around for the company! I used to buy the majority of my ammo through FM but shipping, processing, and handling times were always an issue. Please address that! Best of luck to you, I hope for nothing but success!
I have made that one of our top priorities!!! At times it is tough when you have soo many orders due to great prices and a great product. That said I am making tai one of our top priorities to get your ammo out in fast and reasonable time!
AlphaRomeo-OneFive I second your statement. I have ceased purchasing FM for all those reasons. If properly addressed I would be happy to purchase again.
We can check on that for you. Not sure the current load but look at our PRO MATCH line ,, thats made for competition. If its not in stock now it will be soon!
Lax Ammunition ProMatch is... trying to be charitable... tone deaf? As a USPSA shooter, I shoot pretty high volume. Say practice sessions of 300 rounds and 100-150 rounds per match. It adds up to thousands of rounds a year. If I was paying 33 cents a round for ProMatch I’d quickly go broke. I get that you may have gone the extra mile to ensure fine accuracy but that’s not the type of shooting you do in USPSA 99% of the time. USPSA is a game of how accurately you can shoot fast, and you’ll never appreciate “match grade” ammo on the timer with very rare exceptions. As a USPSA shooter, I’m happy with economical ammo that makes power factor plus some cushion and can hold a 4” group at 25 yards. Freedom Munitions used to have a 147gr Reman RN FMJ load that I’d buy for about 18 cents a round. It made just about the right amount over minor PF, was reliable and accurate enough. Then they changed the spec on it and it no longer made power factor. But that kind of ammo and price point is what I’m looking for.
Always appreciated the products but like others here the delivery was too slow and the availability of calibers were constantly out of stock. you get this fixed and I will return a a customer.
Timely manner should be as of now.. We are only one day back from the time you place an order . Stock is increasing weekly and added products as well.. One of my main focuses is on getting the product out the door in a timely manner! Thanks for your consideration and well try and earn your business back!
Lax Ammunition I couldn’t care less if it came out the door fast, just make sure it’s quality reman and new stuff. QA > fast shipping. Although both would be a plus. Just placed an order of 600 9mm. 🤙🏼
I stopped using Freedom when they consistently took weeks, sometimes over a month to process and ship a simple order. Between that and the prices that crept upwards to new retail pricing I just gave up. Quality was never an issue. Hopefully you can turn the company around. Good luck.
I placed an order back at the end of last year and it never shipped. I checked and I was never billed either but I tried calling several times and couldn’t get a hold of anyone. Poor costumer service and very poor ship times now. I used to order all my ammo through them. I hope new leadership proves to be better but I’ll wait a bit to see.
Can not wait to try it again. Bought my first box of freedom in 2017

Info to all, This company does not ship to Cali.
Good !
Make California shooters move to a free state
Idaho needs a great munitions supplier and one that will listen to the needs of the Idaho people. I look forward to a support system that will be there when the customer needs them. Thank you for believing in the future of Idaho's Freedom Munitions and Extreme Bullets!
I get almost all of my ammo from Freedom. Keep up the great work!!!
Are you still getting ammo from/with them? How do you like the quality?
YES...!!!!
Congratulations...and best of luck....!!!
Cheers...!!!
Thank you!!!
I'm grateful I can usually buy ammo for my 45acp xd. Just got some of your xtreme 230 gr. Jhp. Can't wait to try them on Paul Harrell's soda jug test and his meat target test. I wonder if I have to get his permission to give an ammo review using his target names?
That's awesome. I am glad to hear that the bankruptcy problem will no longer drag FM down.
Thank you for the recent video update. Completely understandable and I appreciate everything you guys are doing!
Stay Healthy and Safe. Jeff from TX
Been using xtream for a few years now, great bullet great price. Last order was around a month ago and it shipped right away, think it even showed up a day early !! Keep up the good work..
Best wishes even though I don't know the brand.
Hopefully, you will have a specialty ammo segment to your buisness.....by that i mean hot loaded carry/business ammo like the former cor bon......buffalo bore.....underwood......etc....but lower priced! be a good chunk of change coming in there!
Are you still using those crappy 9mm cases with the little ledge in them?
Congratulations on your new start up. I pray that you prosper as you grow and improve upon your products and ideas in the firearms, Ammo, related products industry.
Thank you sooo MUCH! Appreciating all of the love!
Thank you for sending freedom to Americans across the USA..
I'm not a high volume shooter, but for the few thousand 9mm and .38 Super rounds I reload per year, I use Xtreme bullets. Good to hear I'll still be able to get them. Best of luck moving forward.
Okay, good luck.
THANK YOU!!!
I would love to work with you guys on making some copper plated slugs with a powder coating and resized after the powder coating to be .356
The reason I would like to get them powder coated is so that people like me can use them in their air rifles and not have to worry about the extra friction from the copper.
Looking forward to giving Freedom Munitions another try. Always had good experiences before.
Thank you sooo Much !
Good video, thanks. I still have several boxes of Xtreme bullets sitting on my shelves bought last year, so was unaware of any financial issues with the company. I’ll look for any new emails and will be sure to stock up on a couple of other calibers. I use Zero bullet for jacketed bullets generally, and Oregon Trail for hard cast lead, but have always used Xtreme for everything else.
thank you!!
We have a huge collection of FM and cant wait to place a new order. Thank you for keeping this going.
Congrats and good luck.
I used to get ALL of my reloading bullets from Extreme. (Tens of thousands in multiple calipers)
I stopped ordering from Extreme because prices just kept going up way too much to the point where Extreme was no longer price competitive.
Good Luck Dan, all the best as you take on this challenge.
Total dick move.
Best of Luck!
Thank you!!
Are you guys going to bring back the brass credit program?
Im new to Freedom Munitions as of tonight really. I pray that you guys make it through this craziness going on right now. please make some more 9mm , lol. I hope you find primers and all of the items necessary to make it. Companies like this will see us through these hard times
So happy they’re under new and better management
Hopefully you'll get things turned around for the company! I used to buy the majority of my ammo through FM but shipping, processing, and handling times were always an issue. Please address that! Best of luck to you, I hope for nothing but success!
I have made that one of our top priorities!!! At times it is tough when you have soo many orders due to great prices and a great product. That said I am making tai one of our top priorities to get your ammo out in fast and reasonable time!
AlphaRomeo-OneFive I second your statement. I have ceased purchasing FM for all those reasons. If properly addressed I would be happy to purchase again.
God bless dan
Thank you soo much!
I'd love to see a 9mm 147gr load come back that makes about 132pf (898fps) for USPSA competition!
CONGRATS FOR YOUR NEW BUSINESS...LOOKING FORWARD TO HEARING MORE ABOUT THE NEW CHANGES
I was wondering what was going on with freedom munitions... good luck!! Hope everything goes well!!
Thank you sooo Much!!
Always appreciated the products but like others here the delivery was too slow and the availability of calibers were constantly out of stock. you get this fixed and I will return a a customer.
@KASH CA Inc. Dan, how long until production is up par? Meaning, the ability to stock and ship ammo, both new and reman, in a timely manner?
Timely manner should be as of now.. We are only one day back from the time you place an order . Stock is increasing weekly and added products as well.. One of my main focuses is on getting the product out the door in a timely manner! Thanks for your consideration and well try and earn your business back!
Lax Ammunition I couldn’t care less if it came out the door fast, just make sure it’s quality reman and new stuff. QA > fast shipping. Although both would be a plus. Just placed an order of 600 9mm. 🤙🏼
147gr 9mm plated bullets at about 925FPS from a 5” barrel please! All of us USPSA nerds would like a cheap source of match ammo!
GOD Bless America, Your Time, $, and You/Employees!!!!!!!
Great news, Good Luck, my business will be coming back
