I have been enthusiastic about the Pegas band saw for 3 years now and I have already been able to saw many 3D animals on it (which can also be seen in my videos).
Blessed christmas I wish you.
Greetings, Arnold
Nice it is a great saw. tight turns can be made. going to be doing more videos on bandsaw boxes using this great machine. Yes Blessed 2020 to you and yours.
Nice new toy, cant wait to see all the wood projects.
thank you. think i am going to do some scroll saw boxes on it.....much larger ones of course.
Hi, how do you rate this machine after 3 years of use? What machine failures have happened? Do these blades break often?
i love this saw, it took me a little bit of time to get used to it but wow what sharp turns i can make with it.
Nice bandsaw Mike. Great to see you back on the 'Tubes.
Thanks Dave, some more vids soon on the Orange Beast and some mods to the table.
Neat new tool buddy. I definitely want one! Congrats!
Thanks Brother, it will be much easier to cut the perimeter on those large pieces i do....lol.
How do you cut inside circles with this machine? I can't figure it out. I know with the small machines you can detach the blade and insert into pre-drilled holes.
this is not a scroll saw. it is named scroll bandsaw because of the small blades it uses and tight turns it can make. Pegas does make a great scroll saw too.
@@Mitermikeswoodshop Thanks
My blade rides against the side of the insert how do you adjust that ?
there might be some slight differences in the insert, you can either file away a little or just run the saw, it is soft metal so it will wear away, if it is really off and looks to touch the table, let me know.
Great Tool Mike! Hope you will make some great Projects 👍
Thank you, it is going to be fun for this Christmas season to make gifts.
Great to see your back buddy but I have to ask where did you find a clean spot in the shop to do this? lol oh and love the safety flip flops too lol cover those talons will you please? lol Just bustin on you brother glad everyone is feeling better and its all taking shape.
lol. yeah shop is getting to be a mess again since nothing is 100% locked down to where it will live.....need to get electric run asap.
Just got my saw yesterday. Blade tracks great on top bearing, stays on left side. Blade will not stay in right groove on bottom bearing. Nothing I do changes that. If I put the blade in the right groove on the bottom it jumps out and rides in the middle of the bearing as soon as I turn the bottom gear.....I need to talk to Bob Duncan to find out what to do.....the saw is worthless to me until this can be fixed.
Have you solved this yet?
What can you not do right now that you need it to? Is it just tight curved?
i am sorry i didn't see this come though, did you resolve? if not please let me know michael@mitermikeswoodshop.com
Always use bottom wheel when checking tracking......until it pops off....well then spin the top one
This is a rebadged 14 inch jet with a different set of guides and a hugely inflated price tag. But I do like that blade and have some fun with that
Most tools are ‘rebranded’ from another but there are modifications that make it better. Yes it is fun cutting on. Thanks for watching.
Looks like fun Mike
Thanks Steve it is going to be fun making scroll saw boxes much bigger....lol
I'm looking to buy a used Pegas. But it is an enigma, If anyone wants to part with theirs, I'm here!
good luck....lol
💯😎👍👍
Thanks for watching OG
Easy way to get it out of the box? you show a picture of the stand while they are
actually taking it out , not a lot of help.!
Sorry about that, main thing is build the stand, then stand bandsaw straight up to take out of the styrofoam
