One of the reasons I like your channel is that you stay so calm in the face of aggravating stuff going on around you like in that Pilot there. That stuff tends to make me angry for hours, I wish I could brush it off like you. I think it's starting to affect my mental health, sometimes I really worry about it. Maybe if you get a chance you can comment on how you stay so cool under the stresses of this job and give whatever tips you have learned for coping with negative emotions
Not sure Why more people Don’t Spend the $’s and Purchase a Quality “Dorsey Trailer” Made in the U.S.A. Fuel Savings was Huge for Quantity Purchased. 👍
I have a picture of you parked at the Petro there where you washed the truck. As always you were nosed in. This is when you were driving the white 379.
Thankyou for the videos, been watching you for quite a few years & always look out for the next one. Visited the states last month for the first time with my wife ( Elvis tour) for my wife & got talking to a trucker & said I drive a truck in the uk. Said that mine was limited to 56 mph as most of them are here. I also said my trailer is 16' 04" high he said that would be a problem over there . He was from Texas & said speed limit 80 mph. He was driving a peterbuilt, got to be honest, those trucks are just perfect to look at. Keep the videos coming whenever you can. My wife just loves that dog Bailey.
They are playing a lot of games with fuel and gasoline prices. I live in the Phx metro area gas around here is pretty much $5/gallon for regular 87. I was in Kingman today and got gas at $3.99. Looks to me like they are tacking on an extra dollar to stiff everyone in the valley.
What chokes me is the fuel brokers, load up tankers and sell it to Europe, at a much higher price, so we get to pay more, not as high as Europe though. They even shipped some tankers out of New York, end of the pipeline. Best wishes all.

After all the years of watching you Dan, I finally saw you Saturday morning on I-74 near Woodhull. I was heading west bound in a concrete pump! Must not of made the final cut in the video I didn't notice it! Your truck looks good going down the road with that Dorsey trailer! I drive a 389 pete daily with a reitnouer flatbed conestoga, sharp setup as well. My boss likes nice things lol. Awesome to finally see you out, take care, thanks for the videos.
Dan, i heard some noice from your seatbelt when you pulled it out. I had a friend back in the days who also had a sound from his seatbelt in his car, but he didn´t care about it. A few months later he was on a long trip alone in his car to deliever it to a new owner. He was hit head-on by a car that had summertires on at black ice. My friends seatbelt did not function properly and he was killed instantly. The outcome would probably have been something else if he had checked the sound and replaced it, said the EMS and Police at the scene. I know it´s irritating when random people "tell" you to check things, but can you please at least be aware of it and test it? ❤
Greetings, Dan, I first wanted to thank you for answering my question about the Working Load Limit on the J hooks. I have started working for a flat-bed trucking company and have watched your videos on UA-cam for many years. My father was a Steel Hauler many many years ago. It has been my dream to drive a truck for many years. My wife wouldn’t let me until recently because of the lack of money you get paid. Company driver not OO like my father and yourself. Many stories I could tell you about my father and his career. He was actually killed in his truck in the late 60’s when trucks were no where near as safe as now. I’m a little older than you so yes, I remember the 60’s. Anyway a long way to tell you that I appreciate the opportunity to ask you questions and your responses. My question from your most recent posting. I see that you used both bungies and I believe 2” straps. I can’t remember from your other videos, do you always utilize straps as well as bungies when adding tarps? Thank You Again, Dan
Hey Daniel. You and all the 🚛 see a lot of the 🌎🌍🌏 and you give us a chance to enjoy that part of it with your 👁️👁️. Winter Spring summer and Fall. You truckers out there doing what you do. Satisfying people for their needs. 👏👏👏👏👏. B SAFE sir 🇺🇲 🚛 💨 💨 💨
I know you get a lot of comments, so I understand. If you see this I was excited that Hastings, Ne was a destination for you this week. I live in Hastings and probably know where you took the air conditioner and where you picked up that load going to Ohio. I would have been great to meet up. Maybe next time.
the entrance to the TA use to be by the 4 wheeler gas station, then they made the truck parking lot bigger and added those buildings north of the lot, closed the entrance by the gas station and opened the one you now use.
Dan Dan the professional flat deck man. Loved the video Dan. You have got one sharp looking unit. I remember when you got the Dorsey. It has served you well. That looked like kind of a crazy load to secure to the deck. Your nothing but a pro. Have a great and a safe day. Happy trails and happy motoring…
Just track the WTI price Dan that will give you a heads up on fuel trends...usually...I will say though, if things further escalate in the Middle East and Iran gets pummeled, the WTI price will go ballistic.
Thank you for posting all the great videos on your UA-cam channel. I really enjoy all the interesting informative background storylines included in every video . I'm interested in what types of protection products your using on the different materials on your equipment . I get a big kick out of watching your little dog she doesn't miss anything . Is there a app that rates truck stops / business or do you keep a personal record of information . Oh my goodness seeing the negative things some people are doing upsets me . The sound of your motor would make a calming ASMR recording .
I believe that Indiana roads are worse than Michigan's now. I remember when you thought every bridge transition was going to rip off your steer axle, then they did some work on them, and let the rest rot away. I am shocked that the wood was still on your trailer. Be safe out there.
Dan. it looks like it’s about time for you to change your seatbelt. I live full-time in my diesel pusher motorhome and I do believe Arizona has some of the worst roads that I’ve driven on this past summer going all the way up into Idaho. 40 from Vegas to Kingman is especially bad.
Just west of that exit, there is a scale in the roadway going west. The cop sits underneath the bridge with his computer. Dot will be on the next ramp. They are not there every day, of course. Indiana is a never ending construction zone.
have you ever noticed that the states that DON'T have oil drilling platforms or refineries in their state, that the fuel is cheaper, except for Texas which as both. of course as they say the refineries are out of date, havent been upgraded since they were built. then the ones along the beaches get wiped out and production goes down hill.
i ended up going through the worlds largest truck stop and saw you there. it was 2am at the time so I didn't say hi but it was nice to finally see you or the truck.
Here in the Uk we’re at roughly £7.50 for a gallon of diesel just now, enjoy your “cheap fuel” while you can. 😱😱😱😱 but I’m getting around 8.9 to 9.5 mpg fully freighted to 44tonnes.
I 70 in eastern Indiana is a disaster. I almost lost a wheel near the weigh station yesterday. Expansion to 6 lanes is scheduled to begin in 2024 but it will take several years.
Dan, I’ve lived in Indiana since 1976, the roads have never been good. Problem with our state is they will patch the roads, but the patch fails because the underlying problem isn’t fixed. I’d love to know where the money to fix the roads goes, it sure isn’t to fix the roads!
Dan, we have the Open Road app and right now coming into TN from NC, the fuel prices are in the $3.55 range, so finally stating to get better! Should be under a buck a gallon, as when I started driving, diesel was .15 a gallon. Of course the government had to screw with the diesel and with all the so called additives, jumped the prices way up and then they got into the def crap and here we go again! Yes, the roads suck in most states now and ever TN is starting to fall into that category. Our son is a truck driver and he is now ready to get off the roads with all the crazy drivers out there! Wishing you safe travels!
It’s sad it can take as lil as 5 min sitting a truck stop to see/witness the bottom gene pool of society! It’s quite depressing makes you wonder what your apart of out here? Cheers be safe Dan!

Winter! I'll give you consideration because you're from Arizona. In the rest of the country, we call it fall. Winter doesn't start for 3 months.
Not sure Why more people Don’t Spend the $’s and Purchase a Quality “Dorsey Trailer” Made in the U.S.A. Fuel Savings was Huge for Quantity Purchased. 👍
Fuel price drop…. Not for long with the weekend news😮
You are right, Dan. I70 in Indiana is terrible. I believe I lost a kidney at Mile Marker 140 two days ago.
Be safe.
🤣🤣 I think I ran over your kidney 😂😂
They have two seasons: winter and pothole season.
It's right next to my spleen and #4 vertebrae
Here in the UK we're getting pretty rough roads and pot holes like moon craters. The powers that be seem reluctant to spend money on infrastructure.
Stay safe brother from the imperial county California 👍👍🇺🇲
Thank Dan for your time and another interesting video of your life on the American highway keep them coming and stay safe 🌵🇬🇧👍
No need to answer all comments. Thank you for sharing your day(s).
What breed is Bailey? A corgi?

Does the Valley require specially formulated gas to cut down on smog?

Man that was quick
As always, an enjoyable way to spend 20/25 minutes is watching one of your videos.
Thanks Dan.
Hi Dan, Time for another Hi Teresa sign??? Stay safe and warm out there.....

Welcome back my friend and Bailey and you guys have a wonderful day
When I was driving I would have Blue Beacon cover the tanks up so the brightener would not dull the tanks after I polished them. Just a thought

Seen you headed west bound on I-80 in Indiana, we was headed east. Safe travels! 👍🇺🇸
What 3 yrs. Man how time flies. Seams like you just bought it a year ago crazy.
Great video ( Camara & audio are super crisp ) and the music went absolutely perfect ... RELAXING 🎼

We think of I 81 in Va. the same. Better use a little extra Polygrip on your dentures when on 81! 😁
Fuel came down but went right back up 4 days later. Safe Travels and God-bless
Money isn't being used for roads as it should be.
the entrance to the TA use to be by the 4 wheeler gas station, then they made the truck parking lot bigger and added those buildings north of the lot, closed the entrance by the gas station and opened the one you now use.
Grumpy Dan makes me laugh. Safe travels.
Fuel prices are down everywhere but Washington state we are still at almost $5
Good to see you .
Hi Dan been watching your videos for a few years now and never disappointed with your vids. Keep up the good work. From. UK veteran.

DAN the Man ? Where you and your sweet dog been so long ? Maybe youtube haven't been sending me updates ?? ✌🤔👍👏👋🛐🕊👀✝️♥️☝️
Here in Finland 1 gallon diesel costs about 7,5 dollars. Very cheap..🤣🤣
Another good one Dan KEEP ON TRUCKIN 🚛🐘👍🇺🇲

Dan you really look cool with your blue shirt and black rimmed glasses (clean & fresh)

Welcome to Ohio! I work in Hubbard on I80 and live 30 minutes away.
This guys the best
There’s levels to everything and some just make everything look easy.
I 70 east of Indy is named “The Ho Chi Minh Trail”. It is pitiful. I took my Rv that way and you can’t hold a conversation. Never again.
I enjoy watching your videos. Keep on trucking!

I stay primarily in the PNW but when I do go to AZ say say the same thing about I-40 between Kingman and Flagstaff.
i ended up going through the worlds largest truck stop and saw you there. it was 2am at the time so I didn't say hi but it was nice to finally see you or the truck.
Thing is, I used to haul fuel. When the price goes up/down, it takes about two weeks to show up at the store.!
If you have to check every day on the fuel price to decide if a load is profitable then something is wrong with the system...
If you don't check, you shouldn't be in business.
I-20 in Louisiana has the smoothest road!
You and Bailey both stay safe out there🚛
Thanks for the video
Here in the Uk we’re at roughly £7.50 for a gallon of diesel just now, enjoy your “cheap fuel” while you can. 😱😱😱😱 but I’m getting around 8.9 to 9.5 mpg fully freighted to 44tonnes.
I was on your route today. It was chilly this morning in Nebraska 👍
Money goes to folks pockets for their steak dinners and so they can afford the fuel in the Cadillac and Benz lol, stay safe driver 👍
Fuel prices here in Oregon still at 4.50 a gallon
DID YOU NOTICE THE TRUCK HAULING THE INSULATION HAS ALL HIS STRAPS OUTSIDE THE RUB RAIL??? WOULD BE SOME EXPENSIVE TICKETS 😂😂😂😂
It's called the "Hoosier" state for a reason. 😅
I 70 in eastern Indiana is a disaster. I almost lost a wheel near the weigh station yesterday. Expansion to 6 lanes is scheduled to begin in 2024 but it will take several years.

In a previous video you had the camera in back by the stacks. That sure sounded good, could you do more often😎
Stay safe! Yep winter is coming soon fall colors are looking good, Thanks
Great video. You and Bailey stay safe.
Dan diesel down here in Ft. Worth, the last time I looked a couple of days ago was $3.99 I believe!..
Think about making a note of all questions. Identify common ones then do a monthly video just answering the questions.
One day I hope you tell us how you pick and choose your music for your videos. You never stick to one genre.
Great Video, Thanke..;
Saw a sliding winch over the tractor tandem, we are to!d you resist placement over (above) the wheels ❓❓
Thanks for the video. I really miss running a flat bed. Did it for about 10 years and 3 years as an owner opp.
Good morning Dan hope you have a great day god bless your family
Thanks!!
Gas mileage probably improved with the work you had done, less rolling resistance.
Dan your a busy driver/ professional owner operator we understand your busy no worries !
You and Bailey stay safe out there. Where I live in Nebraska out buy North Platte it was 26°this morning.
Watched a lot of your episodes you sure do have a lot of beanies😮
All those crazy pipe pieces can be challenging to strap down. Check check and double check. I think florida roads are pretty smooth and flat no hills
Great video 🇬🇧🇬🇧👍👍👍
Hi Dan hang on for dear life. NM roads have always been bad.
Michigan Roads are HORRIBLE 🤬 I guess they spend the money on lining their pockets instead of the lining the roads 😭
Give the PA roads a try, they are rough too.
Regular gas here in Doylestown OH where I live has dropped to $3.09 a gallon but some stations are still $3.16 a gallon
Dan, we have the Open Road app and right now coming into TN from NC, the fuel prices are in the $3.55 range, so finally stating to get better! great vid dan! the night video is really good. your getting really good at this ..(-:
The roads are really bad in the north east and have a safe trip God bless from GA stay safe
Very nice tarp job buddy
Hey Mr. Dan,
I totally agree about Indiana roads. I've been there, done that ! Love you vlogs.
It’s sad it can take as lil as 5 min sitting a truck stop to see/witness the bottom gene pool of society! It’s quite depressing makes you wonder what your apart of out here?
Cheers be safe Dan!
Thanks for the video, Dan. Safe travels.
Love your videos! Truck and trailer beauty!!!
Diesel in NZ is around $NZ16 a gallon which is about $US8 a gallon. I suppose the trucking companies get it for less than that. LYW !
I noticed that the truck you parked beside, also had a twist in the straps, ( must have watched your videos 😊).
You never mentioned where load is going!!!
