This is the answer to the question "What if Charly Bliss's second album sounded more like Guppy?". I'm kind of glad they went with what they clearly wanted to do - Young Enough is a great album with some of their best songwriting to date, even if I personally prefer the sound of Guppy and its 90s-esque vibe.
The instrumental section that sounds like it's about to resolve all the dissonance in the song, until it gets loud and even more dissonant. It makes me feel things.
Stan McCormick I actually think they’re one of the more original alternative bands around right now and Guppy is one my all time favourite albums. The Weezery-ness is part of why I like them but they are good in their own right, for sure.
