I’m usually solo or with one other rider. Once every couple of years I might ride with a group, but it’s not my preference. I enjoy keeping my own pace and schedule. All great tips in this video and the kinds of details that smart riders should talk about before kickstands up. Thanks, Tim!

I get so focused on trying to make sure everyone is O.K and happy and and that NOBODY feels left out I totally loose my own ride . So I ride Solo now . not saying I wouldn't enjoy a ride now and then with a person .After 50yrs of riding group rides usually ends up the same way unless your riding strictly dirt comradery is different than street riders . be safe great video ""RIDE ON""

I never do anymore and never really did, I always seem to worry about all the other riders instead of paying attention, it inevitably turns into a competition and that's when stupid stuff happens. The reason I ride is to get away from people, well that and it's fun.

I ride in groups weekly. Do not feel obligated to step out of your confort zone, just to keep up with the group. You can catch up later .

When riding in a pack, never make a turn without the person behind you seeing you do it. That's a simple way to stay together if it is announced before the ride. We do that in 4X4 trail runs also. Simple yet elegant.

I rode for decades, solo and in small groups. In a group, the rule was space out and Never assume it was safe to manouver as a group. You can always catch up or meet at the next stop.

Using a long stretched out staggered formation seems like it would minimize the damage if oncoming traffic crosses the line and hits the first rider. Otherwise it's akin to bowling with bikers.

Recently on FB I saw a good video about "Hand Signals" admittedly for street riders. ALSO I was recently "Rear Ended"------------ during a course to add 3 wheels to my license (WA State) wife has a Spyder. 😁🥲 I was hit by a Motorcycle person on a Spyder who "Brain Farted" reaching for her Hand Brake. Opps. I was uninjured but the Ryker I was on suffered extensive rear end damage. 🤣😍
