I would love it so if you had a follower with you from your base you could command them to take the car back and park it so you can got a new car to take back to base
I played on lethal zone, I have finished all the 4 main leadership missions and have 0 reason to touch lethal anymore, I hate how no matter how many juggs, screamers and hordes I kill near my base, with in 8 seconds everything spawns again near the border od my base, oh and that is after clearing all the plague hearts. I rather have them give us options to patch up the walls of our bases instead of making lethal zone even worse thanks to the non stop infestation poping up, like god damn how many people live in this town
Yes , this is what doesn't make since to me about this game. You clear buildings, clear plague hearts, clear infections, and the damn zombies still swarm your base! It just makes it seems like you spent all that time, doing those things for nothing.
@@soulrebel6309 exactly, I just want a zombie game thats bit more on par with walking dead season 1 and 2, big cities are filled with walker but smaller cities arnt, like how can we just kill hoardes of undead and more and more keep coming right lol? Exactly! We still don't have a single police outfit in the game, not even a randomly generated default one that comes with a character. Also there are traits like EMT but no corresponding uniform, would also fit on the doctor from tutorial since having her running around in surgical uniform doesn't seemed to provide enough protection in a harsh zombie land.

Better end game content with ongoing community access, rather than the sudden stop that we have now once the legacy quest is done. Let us actually reclaim the map in the manner that is insinuated by each of the leader types. Outpost fortification, with the ability to assign either community members or allied enclaves to hold down the fort, thus justifying the "safe zones" that the outpost creates. Instead of legacy boons, actually have each of the communities impact a neighbouring region or 2. Securing water and power on this map, provides it to that map. Establishing trade routes here, reaches out to there. That sort of thing

@@squared6867, the difference is that it would take a survivor from your base and assign them to the outpost. This would remove them from assisting in base defense as they wouldn’t be there. It would also be nice to be able to run to an outpost and have some backup there locked and loaded.
I’ve very anxious about the infestation rework, I don’t want SOD to become an infestation clear simulator. I also find it absolutely absurd that a whole town can be overtaken by infestations in an hour, there is so often times I can’t even do regular missions because I’m working on base necessities and personal goals. I do really hope there is an option to toggle on or off the rework because I can’t imagine it being a 100% enjoyable change such as the plague zones updates. Although I didn’t like the plague zones update when it started I feel the infestation update is a much larger and different change.
Being given the option to toggle it on or off would be huge. From what I have seen it does look like most of the time will be fighting off infestations and that really isn't a grind I am interested in.
I think some buildings will shine now like the CLEO Haven Device, now we have a good reason to build it. But yes, its still annoying as hell but lets still see in the future. We still need to see the Boons and Banes update. I wasn't happy with Plague Territory at first but the next update of the Landmark Outpost really made my game more fun than before and made better strategies along the way. I also hope that on the new forever community, we can "swap" characters because if your community passes 9, you can no longer get one from your legacy pool. And I believe, our reliance on the Independence Day weapons will be more higher than before. It will suck if they patch and nerf this but it's the best of the best way to kill all zombies except the Juggs.
Really depends on how often infestations pop up, I mean if they pop up like they do now, trying to keep them off the board so that they don't overrun your towns, you won't have time to loot for resources.
I like it honestly, it was a nice pace of change from State of Decay 1 where it felt like nothing was threatening to you or your base/community, in 2 you often have this sense of urgency/having goals.
Please rework bad community skills and their associated buildings! I'm talking about Electronics, Construction, Metalwork, Surgery, Electrical, etc. Also remove the Staging Area, give instead to Construction the ability to modify a building to not consume materials as long as the survivor is present.
Honestly, I wish they would bring back the traps feature from the first game that allowed us to rig explosives around outposts to destroy passing hoards.
@@originalvenom1972 Meh, it would still be cheesy. The game is built around resources and at some point you will simply have too much still negating hordes being a threat, but sure they could implement it in a certain way or cap it orso?
@@DutchGuyMike, yea finding a way to cap it would be good. Like maybe each outpost can only be armed once a day and have a 24hr in game cooldown period before it can be armed again.
I so want to play this game but its so tedious and difficult. I don't like that I have to continually clear areas I already cleared AND try to expand. The idea that zombies can get into my base ridiculous. If they can get in then its not a base.
i feel like the only time they should be able to start forcing through is during sieges, any other time its super dumb. maybe add some lock door mechanics where you repair them etc
I want to be able to clear a map and explore it and complete side missions and develop my characters and my bases. I don't want to spend all my time killing the same zombies over and over and over.
@@cwatson42785 i didn't say that. I want a finite amount of zombies it can be a LOT but when I clear them out that is it. The challenges are still there but its a lot let tedious. I clear a street and in 60 seconds the same street is filled again. LAME
Another idea is a capture the flag style system where you have clear an area and then hold it for so long so it truly becomes Zed free. Each territory you hold gives a bonus.
I still love this game and play it regularly from release date. I hope they stay true to this format and do not ruin what made this game great. Multi had big potential, but if they stray from the solo free form ( barely a story ) too much it could ruin the game. I think this games staying power is in the fact the players make their own story about their people and value them even more because it is so personally determined.
Agreed they are trying to make the next one online only like an MMORPG. I think that will ruin the game, I don't like to play with other folks unless it's that daybreak mode.
Now that the timer is changed for radio calls and the fact that lethal does make things scarce. I think this is going to be a big annoyance. I like the idea but the infections are already a headache when there is so much to do just to keep your camp happy and not leaving.
I walked back my original comment because I felt it was too harsh, I'll be a little more diplomatic. I strongly feel that this update will get toned down, heavily tweaked or possibly cut in the future. I think it's too aggressive. It will simply divide the player attention too sharply. Infestations are already a never ending chore as it is, now they are a chore of cataclysmic importance, pair that with the constant nagging from enclaves and day to day survival needs and its gonna make the game a headache simulator
Agreed. Personally, I think we need the ability to resolve the enclave nagging over the radio instead of needing to travel 1/2 way across the map just to find out they want a bag of food. I like the idea of infestations becoming more important, but right now they're just annoying.
I miss the OG SoD mechanic where you have an outpost and when a horde happens to walk through it's safe zone it would destroy the horde. Anyone else remember?
Zombie hordes/infestations moving to occupy another building has already been happening for a couple months in my playthroughs, but not to this extent. It's downright astounding how much the gameplay of this game has changed since 2018. I'm still holding out for that One Final Map:......... Danforth aka Lifeline.
I only want one thing: free form base building. How cool would it be to go out and gather on top of supply runs to build your own base from scratch wherever you want. Give me state of valheim 2
The problem I see with this is the games going to get bogged down with infestation clearing while you get spammed with requests by groups a good counter would be to add other groups to have a sphere of defence where they keep areas clear the more missions you do for them the bigger the radius or have special quests where groups can be helped to move into the bases taking over the spot permanently until they are killed and allowing them to give you recruit missions for them to build up to another 8 man group at max ?
Personally, the only thing state of decay lacks as a “zombie game” is base building, if we were allowed to free-form a base anywhere we want with out own walls, floors etc like Valheim, I’d put state of decay 2 as my fav zombie game, period.
I really like the infestation change - I didnt care at all about the 'everlasting' community update, but sounds like others did. The new infestation change really changes things up and you really need to concentrate on infestations now.
I hope they add more lootable items, and also more drivable vehicles, like a motorcycle, or a semi. Another thing that would be SUPER cool, is the ability to attach a camper to a vehicle and live in the camper as if it was a base, Viz: to have facilities within the RVs, and perhaps a few specific to them. As it stands, I find the game overall to be exceedingly fun, but very much static feeling. These suggestions I think will alleviate that, without adding TOO much difficulty. Also, please help us mod this game. Games need mods to keep them going long past the shelf life.
@@shysenpai4682 Perhaps when they stop spawning bloater hoards on top of a vehicle while driving, people will stop cheesing certain mechanics. They're using UE4 for crying out loud, it's not rocket science to tweak the spawn radius, or at least have an option for people on PC in order to combat the console limitations. I don't remember where I read it, but someone mentioned that the developers said that the reason there are so many road blocks throughout the map is to force the player to slow down in order for things to spawn properly - not as a game mechanic, not as an immersion tactic, but to comply with console limitations... Truly disappointing.
I really hope in sod3 their will be more voice actors I know it can make the game more expensive but it think away to avoid paying is having the fans that play the game to come voice act if they did that I think many of the fans would love to voice act for a game they like since I hate hearing the same 4 types of voices for all the characters
that would be AWESOME! My friends join the game ( maybe a limit of 4) and we each have our own enclave and we can work together to clear a map and claim the town! EPIC!
@@wxmyjnsn yeah! and it'd be awesome. SO much you could do and it'd be streamable and content..able. You could have the ability to "barricade". Like your buddy goes out to get some stuff and then gets over run so he's stuck in a house. It can be real haunting you know and fun/funny/ "Dude i'm driving by jump out the window!!". Theres a lot they can do!
Sod2 needs an update to the defence side of the game like level 1 outposts stay as they are, level 2 give you more resources and small walls around the outpost and maybe 1-2 beds and level 3 more resources and a watchtower unless the outpost has a accessible roof and I think enclaves and Ais Could be better and maybe add 1 small facility slot to the outposts that have roof space
Hii! I'm not English but i will try to explain clearly what i think. Those infestations will be horrible for morale in lethal mode. They should implement that in a special mod called "infestation mod" or at least giving us the choice for them. This game is really great, the best zombie survival for me. But there are so many things that can be easily fix or implemented and are not. For example the notifications and the HUD can be remove, but it's all or nothing. You can't choose, for example, to remove only the crosshair or the area's notification. I really wish they add more control over the choice of what is on screen and what is not. The crosshair is far too big and it's really hard to aim at a far target at night. I actually remove the HUD (completely because 'all or nothing') and use the crosshair integrated with my display, but then i don"t know how is my stamina or my health and it's dangerous in lethal zone. I hope they will add an option to reduce the crosshair thickness or remove it. I also removed the notifications because of the area's notification which pop every time you enter a different area and block the top 1/3 of the screen. I wonder why there is a so huge notification banners each time we enter an are, even if we already visit this area multiple time. It's cool the first games but start to be really annoying quickly, especially at night when driving and the window pop up is hiding the road ahead. I stop counting how many times i ran into a bloater in car because the notification blocked my view. But if i remove the notification, then i can't see when i get influence or objects. and lot of useful information. We should be able to have the choice to activate each notification one by one. I'm pretty sure it's not too hard to do . They also should add transparency to the three or objects that can bu above the player and block the view . I often drive under trees but as you can't see trough the trees, it's hard to see what happen. Lot of games have that and it really should be in this game also. They should also add more binding option for PC. Using the same button for multiple action is often a problem when you want to initiate an execution and start talking to an other player or open a container beside of that. I'm sorry to post that here but you said that the devs will see comments on your channel so if you can relay that to them, they will ear you more than me i think. :)
It would be really great if they did something about those annoying and amount of radio calls from the other survivors. They ask for help way too often lol, why isn't there a cool down on that lol.
It's a pest mechanic, offers absolutely no rewards just chews up resources I don't understand why they are leaning into this! It's was the worst part of the game
@@shysenpai4682wouldn't know because I play on lethal which just exasperates the problem even more, you should try it sometime an then make an informed post of why it's not good
so, what your saying is i need to find a new zombie game. cause infestations already suck, making them required like this turns them into a chore. I don't play games to do chores. but at least i already got my moneys worth from SoD2, so if i just don't buy 3 i guess i don't buy 3.
I don't think any zombie games are as cool as this one though. I've played Dead Island, Dying Light 1 and 2..but SOD2 just has a certain charm. What zombie game is better?
I hope they up the amount of influence you can have. I'm always maxed out at 9,999. Playing lethal, on my third map. It's just blah at this point. Sill never stop playing but I can't wait for these massive infestations.
I used to have the same problem. I ended up getting a trade depot and use it when I get close to 9000 influence. I buy as much resources I can and craft stuff. Radio towers help with reduce radio call cool downs. I ended up with alot of ammo and consumables to play around with. With the infestation update, I now have a target for my abundance of stuff.
I have so much stuff I hope they add. Like bonuses for clearing a whole town from infestations, new leader types like scientists or someshit. More stats, base defenses like barbed wire fences or something
I wish that they added the feature for a follower to be able to drive you places while you can have the option to shoot out the window or such, add a vehicle with a mounted gun on the back that cost 3 ammo a day depending on use of course.
I mean this is not improving the game flaws. It's forcing the player to deal with the annoying aspects of the game to simulate difficulty. Which is what they've been doing forever. I'm actually not having a lot of hope for SoD3 considering the limitations UL clearly have when it comes to game design and technical competence. I mean I still have juggernauts spawning inside my bases and zombies doing infinite spawn cycle due to regular zombies being screamers, and every other mission just bugging. This game is hard to love.
They almost had this game perfect in my opinion, the maps just have to be bigger (or put a bigger city because it makes no sense for so many zombies to keep popping up lol) be able to actually clear small towns, not just for a bit, even if there is no zombies around any more it still turns red after a bit and that's one thing they can improve on. add a bit more occupations as the missions are always the same.
If it's in 2 I can imagine it either maybe rushed or just probably wouldn't fit since 2 is originally from years ago, but 3 could maybe do best with it having the most time to be built up and even fitted in the first place that way they have the ground then they can adapt or change as needed.
So I play on xbox and I cant see like the arrows that shows what direction the wandering hordes are going ,so is it because im playing on xbox or is it part of a upcoming update?
I can't wait to try the new siege mechanics. Maybe it'd be better with wave, instead of a train of hordes and a siege. They will also need a new way to clear a town too, as you say. Maybe a simple mechanism like to have a companion stand guard may be a big plus already, so you can have like 2 AI stand guard and you're a bait to drag the horde out into a kinda tower offense ? But that's still a long way out. Let's see how this new mech works.
i really don't want sod to be an infestation clearing focused game, the plague hearts give a tangible feeling of accomplishing something, infestations don't . On lethal they start to become a nuisance more than anything. It can be fun but after a while of them constantly respawning it messes with the game play loop a little too much for my taste.
When they first outlined the changes to infestations, my first thought was that they really should enhance the defence options at base. I still hope they make improvements, especially for SoD3 - a game which really will be the only reason i buy a next gen console in future. Once the first horde reaches base and all other hordes disappear from the map, each horde should increase the time it takes for the siege clock to hit 00:00. Also, would be nice to see that for each horde that disappears, either an additional bloater, juggy or feral gets rolled for the siege - bloater having the highest % roll, followed by feral and juggy. I've stopped playing SoD2 since my xbox live ended, but i think the new mechanics will be a good move to prolong game time on a map. Am sure those that love defending their bases, will relish the changes.
I was wondering how can I get a beta testing SOD 2. I'd love to try it. I think I'm really up for this upcoming challenge. With the forever community update, not only I've made my OG Powerhouse characters assemble together like the Avengers, Ending with Builder Boon Legacy lets me hire new comers everytime with good skills or just kick them out if they suck. Now I'm at 13 community members and I will hire more if I got the chance. And my resources keeps growing and growing so I'm kinda confident that I can protect my base hopefully. Plus, with this update I think some building facilities will shine now, like the CLEO Haven Device and the Sniper Tower will get much more love than before. I dont mind getting zombie sieges before because who doesn't want 270 influence and free plague samples right? But if it will keep happening every 15 minutes? for 4 minutes? That's could really be annoying especially with Ferals and Juggs around. I dont totally make a Sniper Tower unless I'm desperate for those Fuckernauts and Feral Packs that clumps up together. I just bring a few Bouncing Borises and Pyrolauncher and problem solve but with this update? Hell! My ammo will deplete really fast!! The CLEO Haven Device will totally render this Sieges useless and SAVE tons of my resources which would only cost 25 parts a day which in this case IS NOT A BAD DEAL. After all, I have a Utilities character with Electricity so I have 25+ parts a day and Electronics character that gives 25% salvage parts extra. So yeah, I can burn that daily. But still get sieges from time to time but at least you can just stand around and do nothing and get back to work once its done. I'm just not sure on how to deal with the outpost yet.
Setting up permanent neutral traders that act like the bounty broker would be cool too. Dailey missions to earn more ammo, rucksacks, parts etc... then you swing by and pick up little extra needed resource. Maybe 3 Dailey missions per day per save. I would also like to see a coop trader. This will provided coop players the ability to purchase rucksacks or items that they can only use in the current game. Just enough so they can use my facilities to facilitate some of there needs within my game. Or make it a voucher system. They pick up a coop mission for ammo, rucksack whatever! They earn that by doing the task. Within the game they're currently in. If they leave or quit they lose all progress and only keep what has been used or is in inventory.
While some people feel that the addition of bloaters to the hordes will make them tougher, I beg to differ. You can use the pyro launcher or toss a fuel bomb at the horde. The bloaters will explode, taking most of the zombies out.
I don’t know why so many people are worried about an update that makes the zombies a threat. The last 4 years we’ve been attacking them now they are attacking us. The game is actually gonna fee like the walking dead rather than build a base simulator. I’m not scared of zombies right now (unless in nightmare) but I could see myself actually scared for my community with this…. And with that, thank god. Fear that I can’t just avoid, I now have to face it and can’t just ignore that feral. I can no longer ignore as now I’m being provoked instead of me provoking, finally
The majority of players are soft and full of cheese. Rear ending hordes and juggs, standing on top of vehicles, etc. I’m glad for this update. Those that complain it’s gonna be a chore or is too much are lacking skill and will actually have to deal with a threat.
These mechanics aren't potentially going to be in the next game, they have specifically said they are using state of decay 2 as a test bed for new mechanics that will be used in state of decay 3
Helicopters and bat-like zombies should be added , and heavy weapons as well (those should do 2 things: use both primary and secondary weapon spaces and also use the rucksack space)
I think in the hordes their should be a zombie that has a sachel on it that drops when it dies. This way you can get random loot drops. I mean you will be using up alot of stuff doing this. So, getting rucksack rewards and item rewards for taking them out even if it's small and random could help alot.
you can kill almost unlimited number of zombies by running them over in reverse, yes te car goes damaged but reduced a lot, i run over half dozen hordes and the car didn't even show the white smoke.
In the current version, Infestations still occur even if you kill all the Plague Hearts. In this video you state that Plague Hearts are what cause the Infestations. Does that mean that they are changing it so that if you kill all the Plague Hearts then all the Infestations will stop spawning as well?
So let me get this straight: they still didnt gave more mechanics and rep systems with communities, build friendship and relations with npcs/characters, still no character editor, no personal openworld own story, whatever you do has no real impact on the world, npcs being static dummies, etc... instead they just put infestation all over like if it was a mere mod? Man im so glad im still playing the 1 game with my mods, what a Dissapointment.
As much as I enjoy SOD, it already has constant Infestations and hordes, sometimes too many to do missions and just enjoy the game play. I love the world, towns and small communities, but rarely is there time just to explore and enjoy the map because you're constantly errand running....
Couple things i'd like to see is different melee weapons for example a golf club or a stop sign pole attached to a stop sign. Can you imagine cutting zombie heads off with a stop sign or hitting a zombies head like a golf ball lol. Also make a city map. It seems most zombie games take place in small towns. Why not have plague hearts in sky scrappers or Hotels. Just something fresh and unexpected.
I hope they will balance the rate in which these hordes can occupy new buildings. I don't want the infestations to be a mechanic that requires all of your attention in order to control.
To all of you who are complaining remember that this game is supposed to be a survival game. You are not supposed to shoot everything, even though it is kind of possible end game. So i think this is a good thing because the dna of the survival mechanic is to fear the loss of your characters 👌
With every enclave containing a Preston Garvey, the need for supplies, base management, survivor quests, destroying plague hearts just to get an outpost and now endless super powered infestations? This sounds awful.
Welp, Haven Device is going to be now an essential installation if things get too hairy. I hope countermeasures against these infestations are the help of friendly enclaves or command radios that help to clear some of them.
Hey community bros, what are your suggestions and experiences on using mods, good or bad? The only major thing I dislike is inventory space in cars, like jeez!
I really wish they can make a mod that you can clear all undead in town and reclame it a house(or area) a time (it wont be easy) for me its frustrated to see a house I just clear 2 days ago spwan undead again and I have to do it over and over
Let me build my own base! I decide the location, how many spots and the more powerful my faction becomes we can expand the base to be bigger and have more spots for stuff.
in SoD 3 I want something like manual/modular bases. Maybe characters each have a grouping of small and large facility slots (depending on skills) and anywhere you want to defend you can place them down, inside a location or on a roof, in the yard. Not that you can multiple locations as a base no, but you can dismantle your facilities and move to next property and set up again. I want to defend a warehouse with six large slots and two small. then change locations to the house next door and have a different setup on the two floors and balcony, and so on..

@@adamorn436 I like it though, there is always a goal to work towards whilst State of Decay 1 came very boring very quick.
Please rework bad community skills and their associated buildings! I'm talking about Electronics, Construction, Metalwork, Surgery, Electrical, etc. Also remove the Staging Area, give instead to Construction the ability to modify a building to not consume materials as long as the survivor is present.

One thing to note is that the infestation spawn ratet on PTR is likely massively buffed to make testing the mechanic easier.
i hope not i like big hordes like that this was needed games to easy even on the max once you get a good team layout..
Honestly, I wish they would bring back the traps feature from the first game that allowed us to rig explosives around outposts to destroy passing hoards.
Nah, it was way too cheesy to use and made hordes barely a threat.
@@DutchGuyMike, well obviously it should use a good amount of resources to use or something of the like to not make it so cheesy.
@@originalvenom1972 Sounds pretty good!

I am already annoyed by infestations so this doesn't really interest me. I guess we will see how it plays out.
I want to be able to clear a map and explore it and complete side missions and develop my characters and my bases. I don't want to spend all my time killing the same zombies over and over and over.
@@wxmyjnsn If they want to make it fun, then they need to add some kind of reward to it. Something that helps us with all of those things.
@@Stranzua my feelings exactly, no reward starts to make it really annoying.
@@wxmyjnsn So you want a zombie survival game with no zombies? What would the challenge or threat be?
Yeah, the number of people playing it warrants continual updates, which is awesome.
Now that the timer is changed for radio calls and the fact that lethal does make things scarce. I think this is going to be a big annoyance. I like the idea but the infections are already a headache when there is so much to do just to keep your camp happy and not leaving.
Nah thhats the whole fun of it skill cap is high when im running mods giving me 100+ hearts an bigger seiges standard. I'm all for these updates
Na it's annoying, everybody always comes to you too do everything & the second you don't do one thing for them they leave, it's not worth it
I walked back my original comment because I felt it was too harsh, I'll be a little more diplomatic.
@@Kishqui so updating the game is a bad Idea?
I miss the OG SoD mechanic where you have an outpost and when a horde happens to walk through it's safe zone it would destroy the horde. Anyone else remember?
Yeah it would launch mortars. But the Haven device takes its place.

Me too.
Would LOVE to see better zombie designs( no glowing eyes, more variety, graveyards where they unearth themselves like Thriller)
ive been saying this for a while and i also think that military zombies in military areas and police in police zones would be great too
There is a mod that removes glowing eyes.
"Hee Hee!"
I really like the infestation change - I didnt care at all about the 'everlasting' community update, but sounds like others did. The new infestation change really changes things up and you really need to concentrate on infestations now.
I like the forever community but I would rather end the community and just have everything for to a locker.
I like the bloater change, vehicle damage is a complete non-issue if you just run over zombies in reverse.
*Are they going to FIX THE DAMNED LARGE BACKPACKS FLOATING IN THE AIR??!?!?!?!?!

Absolute cheese. Rely on skill not cheese
@@shysenpai4682 video game. Just a video game. lol
I really hope in sod3 their will be more voice actors I know it can make the game more expensive but it think away to avoid paying is having the fans that play the game to come voice act if they did that I think many of the fans would love to voice act for a game they like since I hate hearing the same 4 types of voices for all the characters
Well since Microsoft is taking over I have a feeling they will fix that lol.
State of Decay 1 was WAY worse with the voices, it had like less than 10 and almost every character you found had same-ish voices.
All I want is for SD3 to have the ability to start a whole map with friends. And you can all have your own survivors, missions etc.
that would be AWESOME!
Theres a lot they can do!
I wish they'd add a new leadership role
Sod2 needs an update to the defence side of the game like level 1 outposts stay as they are, level 2 give you more resources and small walls around the outpost and maybe 1-2 beds and level 3 more resources and a watchtower unless the outpost has a accessible roof and I think enclaves and Ais Could be better and maybe add 1 small facility slot to the outposts that have roof space
Yes. Facility mod slots for level 3 outposts.
Also, did they fix the rucksack bug?
I hope not.
No he said it won't be fixed for awhile smh
After seeing all of those infestations on the map. I think the Pyro launcher now have a new purpose.
It's a pest mechanic, offers absolutely no rewards just chews up resources I don't understand why they are leaning into this! It's was the worst part of the game
Because not everyone plays on normal

Can they make plague hearts grow back if we don't attend to infestation problems? That would be an interesting idea.
so, what your saying is i need to find a new zombie game. cause infestations already suck, making them required like this turns them into a chore.
Want weather system like torrential rain and storms that would be awesome
I hope they up the amount of influence you can have. I'm always maxed out at 9,999. Playing lethal, on my third map. It's just blah at this point. Sill never stop playing but I can't wait for these massive infestations.
I used to have the same problem. I ended up getting a trade depot and use it when I get close to 9000 influence. I buy as much resources I can and craft stuff. Radio towers help with reduce radio call cool downs. I ended up with alot of ammo and consumables to play around with. With the infestation update, I now have a target for my abundance of stuff.
I can't wait for this update, clearing large infested towns it's going to be so fun on multiplayer!
Would love to create my own base... So it feels more personal... but hey thats just me....
I hope they make it that othet survivor can raid your base imagine a group of vehicles show up at your base and start tryna take it over
I mean this is not improving the game flaws.
Man the cake machine sounds almost a must have for those towns
They almost had this game perfect in my opinion, the maps just have to be bigger (or put a bigger city because it makes no sense for so many zombies to keep popping up lol) be able to actually clear small towns, not just for a bit, even if there is no zombies around any more it still turns red after a bit and that's one thing they can improve on.
add a bit more occupations as the missions are always the same.
100% need to be able to control or command your own people when they follow you
Expand you walls and move cars and object from the roads
i really miss the YOSE when putting outpost strategically makes you advantages because they have traps
Does anyone else want to have a taste of the relationship system and season system in State of Decay 3 in State of Decay 2?
If it's in 2 I can imagine it either maybe rushed or just probably wouldn't fit since 2 is originally from years ago, but 3 could maybe do best with it having the most time to be built up and even fitted in the first place that way they have the ground then they can adapt or change as needed.
Is UnDL going to fix my broken community when I try to login? i get a black screen and the game force closes
If you play on PC you can opt for the BETA in Steam, not on XBOX tho.
can they fix coop, the only thing stopping like 4 friends buying the game
I rarely run over zombies. Damage to vehicles builds up fast.
The Haven device is going to be a thing of the past. Major nerf for the device making useless in the update 31.
I for one got Fallout 4 vibes. "Your settlement needs your help.......again"
Good grief! @0:16. Okay... I see about 7 infestations, 18 (18?!?) attacking hordes. This is going to challenge forever communities.
Agreed
The majority of players are soft and full of cheese. Rear ending hordes and juggs, standing on top of vehicles, etc.
I’m glad for this update. Those that complain it’s gonna be a chore or is too much are lacking skill and will actually have to deal with a threat.
These mechanics aren't potentially going to be in the next game, they have specifically said they are using state of decay 2 as a test bed for new mechanics that will be used in state of decay 3
Can you still just drive far enough away from the base once the siege triggers thus nullifying the threat?
Helicopters and bat-like zombies should be added , and heavy weapons as well (those should do 2 things: use both primary and secondary weapon spaces and also use the rucksack space)
Thank you for the update 😊
I think in the hordes their should be a zombie that has a sachel on it that drops when it dies. This way you can get random loot drops. I mean you will be using up alot of stuff doing this. So, getting rucksack rewards and item rewards for taking them out even if it's small and random could help alot.
@SunnyGames Hey Brother, amazing video as always . Thank You for the update as to what is going on....
Noise level effects the speed of infestations, keep your base silent.
How?
Sound proofing 5 th skill also a hero bonus quiet time or Silence Policy. Also the white option on the generators.
you can kill almost unlimited number of zombies by running them over in reverse, yes te car goes damaged but reduced a lot, i run over half dozen hordes and the car didn't even show the white smoke.
In the current version, Infestations still occur even if you kill all the Plague Hearts. In this video you state that Plague Hearts are what cause the Infestations. Does that mean that they are changing it so that if you kill all the Plague Hearts then all the Infestations will stop spawning as well?
Thank you for this update!
Please for the love of god make it to where we can clear out roads 😂
State of delay 2 is literally unplayable after u complete a legacy. It crashes after i try and load up my community of 228 days.
I'm playing on standard and seen two three hordes outside my base
Couple things i'd like to see is different melee weapons for example a golf club or a stop sign pole attached to a stop sign. Can you imagine cutting zombie heads off with a stop sign or hitting a zombies head like a golf ball lol. Also make a city map. It seems most zombie games take place in small towns. Why not have plague hearts in sky scrappers or Hotels. Just something fresh and unexpected.
I hope they will balance the rate in which these hordes can occupy new buildings. I don't want the infestations to be a mechanic that requires all of your attention in order to control.
They should come up with a new type of freak. One that's not as fast as the feral but not as tanky as the juggernaut
To all of you who are complaining remember that this game is supposed to be a survival game. You are not supposed to shoot everything, even though it is kind of possible end game. So i think this is a good thing because the dna of the survival mechanic is to fear the loss of your characters 👌
They better fix that dang floating rucksack and 8 slot backpack glitch on Xbox one, I can't even play because it's so distracting
With every enclave containing a Preston Garvey, the need for supplies, base management, survivor quests, destroying plague hearts just to get an outpost and now endless super powered infestations? This sounds awful.

Hey community bros, what are your suggestions and experiences on using mods, good or bad?
The only major thing I dislike is inventory space in cars, like jeez!
When will update 31 be released.
I really wish they can make a mod that you can clear all undead in town and reclame it a house(or area) a time (it wont be easy)
for me its frustrated to see a house I just clear 2 days ago spwan undead again and I have to do it over and over
What will happen with Haven Device? Will it still work?
