Whirlwind is so great because normally you would use focus fire on the tank or carrys, ignoring the 2 supports, whirlwind easily kills the 2 supports and does decent damage to the carries, but it's bad vs the tank.

u are 100% miss physical and magic resis from BKB and deal super dmg at lvl 2+ focus fire
the only problem is u are worst at ganking compare normal focus fire

Many pro teams use this WR faccet. It makes WR a gyro in the late game, which is better with items, sacrificing early game kill potential.
As a pos 4 and 5 players most WR players are carries. While me picking this facet and slaying clash because this ult is teamfight ult as a support.
So glad one of my favorite creators started trying this facet.

I have tried this at least 50 matches with WR . It is absolutely destroying in mid game and late game, especially when your items is ready. But for exchange, you have to sacrafie one thing, it is yourself in early game without focus fire . There a hundred of match ups that you will lose your midlane because you don't have focus fire, extremely weak again single target but absolutely stunning while fighting multiple enemy. Now everyone is the target
It's one of the smart move by valve
Focus fire, Doom, and Cronosphere was given alternative to much stronger skill capabilities in exchange for giving some leeway to enemy team.
It used to be like, oh you easily kill 1 hero with those spells then be useless for the rest of the fight. Now it is harder to kill 1 hero but the presence on teamfight is much stronger
What if....you clear mid wave fast enough, stack triangle and clear the stacked hard camps with ult until you have maelstrom to clear ancient camps with ult. Might boost your farm a lot faster, haven't tried it yet but that's the potential I see from this whirlwind facet to get insane networth
@@spzenza707 it is possible. Can clear the lane really fast and then farm jungle. Just bad in lanning phase since you are unable to focus their midlaner . Can farm a lots faster with maelstrom but if you want to participate in teamfight , your team have to disable them for you
Man that last game was really insane. That's some good dota right there. 👍🏻 I hope I can also say to my team to just run carefully around the map and farm without dying.

I feel like this could be pretty insane with a well-coordinated oracle support. The hard part is Oracle's playstyle likes to sit way in the back while this WR playstyle wants to charge in, so communication between both players is key here.

Windranger change is the opposite of Spectre change, spectre now have stronger singular ult instead of gamechanging haunt. And WR lose stronger singular ult in exchange for gamechanging windwhirlind

To be fair, it it objectively worse in every way compared to Focus Fire. Can you play janked and make it work, of course. You can play Core IO and win some games, but that doesn't mean it's good.

That pl is the type of player I always get and the reason I quit Dota2. As a strict pos5 player it's way too frustrating. Lanning stage I gave the perfect game and when that ends they feed or just farm forever and wait for the enemy to 6 slot.
