Thank you for the video. Haven't seen these before and I love them.
Right now I'm wearing the 44 mm Bulova Lunar pilot in black. Got it this week.
My favorite watch in my collection is a Hamilton Khaki automatic.
Great video, just to add that the 42 mm has the H-30 movement while the 36 mm has the H-10. In regards to the inner and outer dial Hamilton made a nice trick with the hour hand so that it frames the numbers on the inner dial.
I think the 36 mm with a black leather strap with white stitching could make me postpone an IWC pilot watch for a while 😊
I love my Garmin Instinct for hiking & taking walks! Today I’m wearing my SARB035 on a Strapcode O bracelet.
I love that black 36mm Hamilton!
Like the look of this watch. I have the Interstellar Cooper in my rotation. Currently wearing a Tudor GMT with opaline dial on the wrist. Thanks for the excellent content Harrison.
Thanks mate!
Nice looking watches. 42mm is my sweet spot, so maybe the green dial for me. I'm wearing a 42mm CW Trident 300 today!
Bulova Lunar Pilot 45mm on my wrist right now. Great video, great Hamilton watches today.
Aquaracer 200 on my wrist thanks to you btw, great video and keep up the good work
Thanks for the high quality video, as always :). But what is affordable luxury lol? :)
42mm green very beautiful !!! Both models very good and affordable watches nice work once again by Hamilton…👏💪👍❤️
I’m wearing the old aviation day date auto H64645131 on bracelet. Love the watch, 42 fits me great.
I've always liked those dials! I should get one!
I like this "Flieger B" style of pilot's watch, and own the Khaki Aviation Pilot Day Date Auto (say that 10 times fast) AKA the "Cooper." I was kind of hoping these would be a touch smaller. Not that the 42 is a bad size, but I think something like a 40 would fit more wrists. The 42 fits my 7-inch/~18cm wrist just fine though. I personally wouldn't want to slim down to the 36 with my wrist/build, but at least that option is there for small watch lovers. It does look a bit more tool-ish than mine, but suffers in the details for around the same price. I love that mine has minute markers lumed all around the dial, and the applied indices with their texture just looks gorgeous in the light. The bracelet looks to be identical, which is fine for the price point. All in all not a bad release, but it's not getting my pulse going. I'll keep what I've got. It's accurate, comfortable on wrist, and even got attention from one of the reps at my Rolex AD. It really could be a GADA watch for somebody, but I have the watch affliction. If I were picking one of the new models, I would get the blue 42mm.
I'm buying the one with white straps for my wife. She loved it and finally can add a Hamilton to her collection.
I really like the looks!
On wrist, Seiko SPB411J Navigator Timer GMT re-issue. On a trip currently so it’s the perfect companion. 😉
I need to get a pilot watch, and have been looking at Laco, but I'll have to check these watches out based on the size 38/40 would be better. Right now I'm wearing a Tissot PRX Tiffany dial
Awesome to see 42 for guys like me with larger wrists just wish they had a black dial for 42
Can you give your feedback on the leather strap?
Wrist check - Longines Spirit Zulu Time 42mm in Green on their leather deployment strap.
Never mind the Snyder cut, release the Glen Coe cut!! Massively prefer your outdoor hiking style videos, for a smaller watch channel the outdoor videos set you apart from the competition and you live in the perfect place for them.
Currently have a GS SBGN005 on
Love them. Will probably buy the white 42 and put a gray NATO strap.
Omega Railmaster
Hamilton KFM 38mm on the wrist today, a great field watch.
I do like those 36mm blue dials I have to say. I've got the Tissot Le Locle on today, the chronometre version though, not the powermatic 80.
Damn! Still post the other video! That whole wilderness and photography stuff is awesome.
On the watches, I wish the hands were matte black on the white dial. Makes for way, way better legibility.
Agree on the camo green colour. Looks v nice.
Currently wearing: Seamaster 2254.50 on a camo nato.
Haha I might try, thanks mate appreciate it!
I have my Breguet Type XX Aeronavale 3800 on today
I’m wearing the 124270 36mm Explorer
I like them both but I feel they are a tad expensive compared to a few other Khaki models from the brand. Personally I prefer the field watches from Hamilton Again on my wrist today is my F-91W but I might put on a different watch later.
I'm rocking my Omega SMP 300 in black, latest version
wearing my casioak and dresskx today!
OOOOHHHHH JESUS That Hammie Flieger is DAYM awesome
but I prefer black one since it easier to read
♥️♥️
My wrist check - Longines Dolce Vita - Roman numerals (from Chisholm Hunter)
Bulova Lunar Pilot on mine today 😊
Wish they would of split the difference at 39mm. Like them both, I like B dials. On wrist- 42mm Glycine Combat Sub Black dial, black DLC coat, Black Artem strap.
Hamilton made this watch in 38mm back in the day. I have it in rose gold with a brown dial.
Wearing a Fleddermann Hanoverian. A family owned micro brand from Indiana, USA. A relation of my great grandmother.
I happen to have a Hamilton on, my Panda chronograph.
Love the new aviation lineup but I kind of prefer the "pilot pioneer" watches that fee more vintage.
Since you were saying you don’t get this dial layout, with a minute outer track and hour inner track… that comes from the classic Flieger Type B dial used for WW2 pilot’s watches. It’s not for everybody, obviously, but Hamilton does also make plenty of other watches with a more typical dial design…
And for everyone moaning about the size, keep in mind that the actual WW2 Fliegers were 55mm. And most of Hamilton’s other Flieger B-inspired watches are 46mm. They’re built big for a purpose. If you don’t like it, fine, don’t buy one. And before you dismiss the 36mm as too small… maybe try one on your wrist. There’s hardly any bezel, so the dial is likely bigger than a 42mm diver’s.
Ive got khaki Field mechanical, 38mm which i wear everyday, love the watch. Thinking about this in 36 or maybe the Murph 38.
What did you pick between them? Did you consider khaki field expedition 37mm?
I do like the Expedition in 37mm on steel bracelet. Still thinking I would like to have white dial mechanical field as well. I will let you know the final choice.
@@richardstiles6370 Ok thanks. I’ll be waiting.
Like you have the khaki field 38. Added the beautiful 38 Murph as my dress watch love it.
Left wrist: Hamilton Jazzmaster Day-Date, 40 millimeters, silver dial, bracelet.
Right: Nordberg Skagerrak Night Edition, bracelet.
Wrist check: Hamilton Khaki Field Mechanical, white dial.
I think you have ethe very first video on these watches! Kudos. But these are not thin watches. To me, anything over 11mm is thick. There is especially no good reason why the 42mm needed to be >11mm. I wish the day date were a 40mm x 11mm. My Stowa, at 8.5mm, is thin.
Damn it the 42 looks good. Unfortunately I just bought a 42 Laco Aachen polar last week. 🤦🏻♂️
Wow 38 or 40 would be my sweet spot on these, seems a bit of a miss.
I say this wearing a titanium khaki in 42, although its a flat black case so it shows smaller then it is even for a big dial face
i think it's only missing the "on the fly" micro adjustment on the bracelet. if it had that this would be seller.
Great watches. But I would have preferred AR coating just on the underside. Totally do not like AR coating on the top side especially for 'tool' like watches.
I was excited for the bronze case one, until I learned it was PVD coated.
These are Hamilton, difficult to fault although I would have gone 40 rather than 42…
I am wearing the Omega Seamaster 300MP NTTD on its Milanese bracelet. Awe🤩🙏🏽👍🏽
Finaly Hamilton make 36mm case size!!! But why 18mm lug width? Why they dont make 19mm like rolex explorer or tudor black bay? :(
36 is a great size for me, but why no date? Disqualified! And also - Yes they should have gone for 38.
Am wearing my Sinn 556 i RS
I generally love Hamiltons, but the Khaki Aviation Pilot leaves me a bit cold. I don't like having both the day and date on the dial, and the design of the dial otherwise just doesn't speak to me. But that's just my tste, and I'm sure many will love the design.
Pilot watch or not, I've read from field watch guys that you can't trust Hamilton water resistance without a screw down crown, and if these did have that they'd be an Explorer alternative. But, they don't...
I’m wearing a Seiko 5 on a NATO strap.
I would buy if…. Screw down crown and 20mm lug with.
Very nice ❤❤❤
Lug length ?
For a Hamilton pilot watch I think I'd rather go for the Cooper from Interstellar Harrison. 😊
What is a "chisholm," and why would you want to hunt for it?
Good Review! But 36 and 42 ??
They dont listen to customers at all…
Wearing my Khaki Automatic 38mm on a black NATO 🥷🏼
Wow, are those hands or neckties!
Nowadays, im worrying about eyes healty of Hamilton's design department guys..
otherwise, it would not be possible for them to make such ugly watches, especially this s**ts and expedition 😠
So Mr Average can have one that’s a bit too small or a bit too big 🤦🏻♂️ 38mm or 40mm obviously was the way to go 🤦🏻♂️ a micro adjustment or even a flip link is also something everyone wants so why not just do it😬
36 is cool. 18mm strap width: not cool.
I swear I tot this was Adrian barker. The thumbnail is soo well imitated haha
What is the reason of replacement so nice applied indexes to these printed ones? Awful. Eterna Kontiki Date on the wrist.
All along I thought your name was Chisholm
Lol
Coke GMT II 16710
Don’t get it - why would anyone review a watch but not tell you the lug length
hamilton keeps missing
36 too small, 42 too big!
The movement isn't great. Almost looks quartzish.
BOSS: Ok gents, let’s throw some darts at the spec board and see what we get!
WORKER: ummm, Boss? Shouldn’t we make the watches according to specs that most people can wear and enjoy?
BOSS: 😠…….just get the darts.
WORKER: 😳…..yessir
Not for me neither. I feel like Hamilton goes out of their way to make ugly & overpriced watches. Like seriously, silver but no white variant? At this price point I'd rather go high-end Seiko or Orient
These don't look like 1k euro watches...sorry.
Junk
It's nice they are making women's sizes
Pretty plain looking printed dial with zero character. We’ve seen this style for far too long.
Hamilton is pretty poorly directed;
The Expedition series and the new Khaiki Aviation watches are likes really low-quality products that do not suit the history and image of the brand...
They try to solve many things with marketing, flashy events and sponsored videos, but when i look at the watches, i see a complete failure.
i am currently writing these words with a khaiki aviation pilot day date auto 42 (Cooper) on my wrist... :/ i love Hamilton very much, but i decided to distance myself from them for a while..
i'm so sorry, but Hamilton has been nothing but a disappointment for me for a while now... (despite your productions that has perfect lights & angle videos ..(!) )
Stay with watches.. 🙏🏻
Again a dumb move from Hamilton... 36 or 42 mm... the average guy like me can't wear any of those. Just do a 38 and eventually a 41 mm; everybody would be happy with that. But no, Hamilton keeps doing weird choices.
36mm has traditionally been a normal size for an average man. For someone like me who loves traditional sizing, it’s a godsend that Hamilton is actually making 36mm watches again. I’ve grown to dislike my Khaki Field Automatic 38 as I feel it just wears a little big sometimes!
36 is fine it’s not small
36 without bezel is a good size
The Glycine Airman used by USAF pilots during the Vietnam war was 36mm, and with a rotating bezel.
36 and 42 are good sizes.
Omg. Rolex explores 55555 in the dial where ucly Thiefs ad Hamilton. Also terrible look
Hamilton stop stealing ideas Frome Rolex.
Those skeletonized hands… pass.
Dial/hands looks like a dogs dinner 👎
