Just a good piece of work, love it :-)
Please do a video on setting up three Amcrest cameras and what the suggested port numbers / IPs should be.
I've been trying to search for that video too for the last 2 hours and a half. I gave up and will search again tomorrow!
How about 2 cameras on the same network? Do I need to reprogram the TCP/UDP/HTTP ports to different ports? In my system, Cam1 uses the same ports as Cam2 when I check (37777/37779/80). Literature says not to use low ports for HTTP, so can I have Cam1 with (37777/37779/37780) and Cam2 with (37781/37782/37783)? Am I making sense? What menu allows me to set these ports for the cameras? Is that done via Amcrest Web View? And then to follow-on, there would be SIX port forward instructions (three per camera).
Hi Eric, these would be questions for our support team. Please email them at support@amcrest.com.
Done. Thanks
@@AmcrestTechnologies It would have been nice to have had this question answered and posted online rather than calling the support team. I have the same question and I have three of your cameras.
says I successfully set up ports on CanYouSeeMe.org and yet I STILL can't see these damn cameras away from my home wifi. beyond frustrated.
We are sorry to hear this. Please contact our support team at support@amcrest.com and they will assist you.
theres gotta be an easier way
If you want to have multiple cameras, look for other brand. Amcrest is a pain to port forwarding and their tech team which outsource to other countries has a lot to be desire. I have both amcrest and foscam, foscam is so much easier to work with
