It really opens your eyes to other cultures. I feel the difference between how i think about people from other ethnicities compared to the rest of my family who have gone only to Sinhala schools.
@@kumarkitusna7191 , some of us did.My parents were progressive and had Tamil friends growing up.We were very close when we lived overseas and one of my best friend friends in later life was Tamil. In my current role I sometimes come across Sri Lankans of Tamil origin and I still help them as I would any other Sri Lankan.
@@thusharikariyawasam3427 thank you. But racism is a root of these killings and misunderstandings, which planted by sinhala politicians 90 years ago and grown to a tall unbreakable mountain now.
Only sinhala people can break this mountain. Not by us Tamils, we are tired of it and you can see this in north and East of Srilanka.
Also even after the war ended in 2009, still people live under intimidation of Srilankan army. Infact people live under army government. Still you see Army driving motorbikes without number plates.
If majority sinhala people don't identify all Crookes politicians now and build better Srilanka. Otherwise Srilanka will be a sinking ship.
It's shame i can see sinhala people are looking for Prabaharan now, but he killed himself in 2009 in war zone. Sorry too late..
@@kumarkitusna7191 I hope for the sake of future generations that the two communities can come together and build a better country. It will come about with more travel and understanding of each others cultures. There is a saying that "the Devil is not as black as they say".Race politics have been long used as a tool to prey on peoples insecurities to come into power.Maybe it is time we get clever and stop falling for these gimmicks. Have a wonderful Easter.
Early team today 😎
