Its great to see a video from my hometown uploaded on the same day it was filmed! Your video was so interesting :) But please for your own health, please be more careful with your hand hygiene otherwise you will end up being sick! Wishing you safe travels.

@@manekaperera5134 I know that he filmed this video in Jaffna Sri lanka. Incase you dont know Ken left Sri lanka last Sunday and he's now back in Malaysia. He said that he has 8 more videos of him in Sri lanka and this is one of em. You can follow him on instagram and check out his stories.
@@bryananthoney oh.. I didn't know that.. 😁 I don't have an instagram account also. I came back to this channel after a long time. Thanks for replying though.. 🤗
Hi Ken, nice video again. In Kandy you ate juggery made of Kithul tree/Sugar cane. The one you eat at Jaffna is made out of Palmyrah tree. And the honey you tried was Bee honey. And if you hang around, pay a visit to Malayalan cafe, one of the best classic Jaffna Vegetarian food you can enjoy on a Banana leaf 😊
"Vanakam" Ken😀😀 lt's always fun learning new words from all your videos. As always, it's interesting to tag along with you to the market. Oh, l haven't seen a red banana before. Wonderful to try stuff/snacks as you explore around the town. Aha...you love that colourful candy biscuits so much that you never missed buying them...👍🤓 Great interaction with the locals in the dried fish shop and one of them even subscribed to your channel. They are indeed very friendly. "Nandri" for this fun video, Ken.
Hi Ken . Thanks for visiting Jaffna . It is indeed a unique place and as you said it feels like being in a different country 🙂. Its my hometown and I love being there all the time . Your first impressions are great and same for me as well because i moved out of Jaffna to Colombo when i was just 10 odd years old due to the conflict. Do consider visiting Rio Icecream, near Nallur temple (special Jaffna ice cream ), Nilaavarai (a pond kind of a thing where you don't see where the water ends up ,it's like a Hole and it has a history), other beaches although it might be hot these days . Also everyplace you go better check out the local foods and small snacks giving the Jaffna flavor !. Stay safe , have a great time ! God bless you🙂🙏
Hi Ken good evening wow the amount of dried fish there in Sri Lanka it looks like l'm also on vacation there with my eyes full watching your videos!!!🇵🇭❤❤❤❤
Wow, you have learnt a few Tamil words and also tried several local tidbits. I think the spicy snacks that you bought in 10:35 could be one of the many types of Tamil spicy snacks, it is delicious and also commonly available in Malaysia (I mean the type of snacks, not referring to the brand). Congrats you got a new subscriber in the shop selling dried fishes. 👏👏👏 I am sure you feel like being in a new country as the people there speak a different language, but there are just as friendly although they are not used to seeing foreigners in Jaffna.
Hi. It's very nice to be able to see and learn about this country. What is interesting are these waterfalls. Balangoda is a nice little town, if you are not far, go there.
That’s what I remember about being in Sri Lanka. “What is your name”and “Where are you from” if I had a pound for every time I was asked it, I would be a millionaire! 😂😂😂
I am a Canadian of Sri Lankan background (my parents are Sri Lankans). I speak fluent Sinhala but I cannot write. So people get confused when I travel in Sri Lanka. 😂😂😂
Next time when u visit Sri Lanka please do visit Eastern Sri Lanka...Trincomalee And Batticaola after the crisis...Many tourists don't visit there too..But you have the most beautiful beaches there.. Amazing hospitality..While u were visiting their warehouse..One guy was saying give him to taste first...They are soo welcoming...Forget the politicians at least the people are good..🇱🇰:)
hey You can go to Naloor covil, Rio Ice cream, Jaffna fort, Jaffna library ,Other Islands such as Delphs,Mandathivu, etc, Nagadeepa island, point pedro in Jaffna area.
Hi Ken, Normally people say that southern people are most welcoming people of sri lanka. But it is not. As my experience, northern people are the most welcoming people of sri lanka. I must say that even though I am a southern person. Best wishes for your journey.
