OMGGGGGGGGGG after 30 half batches… and many paid and free recipes… YOURS FINALLY WORKED FOR ME!!!!! EVEN BATH BOMBS PACKED INTO SILICONE MOLDS! I too tried all the ones you tried so I knew I had to try your recipe. I mean, all recipes work pretty much for the simple spherical molds… but anything with details we’re all a dud. Thank you so much!! I only had to tweak yours a tiny bit. Thank you so much for sharing!!! Much love from SW Houston ❤❤❤
oh I am so happy to hear that this worked for you! That really made my day! 🤗💕
I love the look of the rose petals on the top of the bath bomb. So pretty and, as others have said, elegant!
thanks Andi! I appreciate that 😍 - hope you are doing well!
It’s nice watching you be so confident in your bath bomb making. I can hear the confidence in your voice! ❤
I'll second that. Good to see.
thanks so much you guys!! I appreciate that! Yes, I feel so much more confident than I did last year even. It's been a long struggle with these things and I'm so glad I didn't quite the 50 times I said I was going to!😂😂😂
@@WalnutCreekBathBoutique I'm glad too, I love that you can now make this product with confidence. ❤️
I love the elegant look of your bath bombs! They look great, glad you found something that works for you!
thanks Melissa! It has been a long 6 years in figuring it out 😂💕
I am glad you got what you wanted. So nice when we finally figure it all out and we can watch the results. Rose petals look luxurious in the bomb as well.
Cheers 👍🤗
Hi Cheryl! Thanks so much! I hope you have a wonderful week!💖
I enjoy watching you make different things
I appreciate that! Thanks for watching (and commenting!)😃
This was quite an interesting video for me it was like a how it's made sort of thing I enjoyed watching you make those and I'm pleased the outcome was good 👍

Ellen ruth soap has alot of super nice tutorials i love her

Awww! Congratulations on finding one that works for you 😊 Thanks for sharing the recipe. I have something new to try now!😂

Great video thanks for sharing. Going to try recipe.

I just found your channel through your craft show tips channel and was so happy to hear of another indiana crafter! I live in bloomington and it's craft show season. I've decided I want to try my luck next year with craft shows and your video was super helpful.
Now here I am watching your other videos :) thank you!!
Awesome! Thank you for watching! I love to hear from fellow Hoosiers!!! 💕💕💕
I appreciate you so much, I'm a new sub and a new candle maker. I also want to get into body products. Thank you for your videos!! ❤❤
Thanks for subbing! I'm so happy you are here!! 💕
Great looking bath bombs ❤ can I use micas for colorant or what would you recommend?
you sure can use micas - you just have to look to see if they are "lip safe" if they are you can use them
sadly most blues and greens are not allowed in bath bombs.
Your recipe is very close to mine. Good for you that you didn't give up.
Thanks! You are actually one I meant to mention of who I watched that weekend so long ago! Sorry I didn't mention you!!
@@WalnutCreekBathBoutique oh no, never a worry. Since your recipe is very close to mine , I think you’ll be really happy with them. I haven’t changed my formula (except for .5% of a milk powder) in years and years. Haven’t needed to, whether it’s low or high humidity.
@@TheSoapChef oh that's so good to know! That means it's a keeper!! 💕
So happy you got a good recipe you're happy with. I know you've been working on that recipe for a while.
Right?!?! 😂 😍
When you are happy that is everything great job❤🎉😊
that is sweet - thank you for your comment and for watching! 💕
Soo glad you found one that works for you. I know you struggling there for a hot minute. 5 minutes is a good time. Great job Tammy!! They look great. Can't wait to see how you like the press.
aww, thanks so much Lori! I appreciate so much how you always cheer me on! 💕💕💕
Yeah! And your right here in my back yard! I am in NAPA!
sorry to disappoint - (I get this a lot) but I'm in Indiana LOL🤗
Oh shoot - wrong Walnut Creek! But - my xmas BathBombs turned out awesome - so Thank you! They were a HIT!

@@pacifictrufflegrowers oh that is great to hear!! Thank you! 🥰
thank you for an amazing video. can you please tell me where you got the round packaging for the bombs from?
hello! thanks for watching the video. I actually wrap my bath bombs with the National Shrink Wrap System. I use it for soaps, shampoo bars and shower steamers as well so that the cost of the system is a little more justifiable LOL
I do plan on a video soon on how I wrap and label my soaps with it if you are interested is seeing it in action 💕
I love your videos and you sharing your knowledge.. BUT I REALLY COME TO YOUR PAGE TO SEE YOUR BEAUTY! The kindness and welcoming tone in your voice! Did I say your beauty⁉️ ❤🌹🥰🙏🏽
Thank you so much!! That is very kind of you to say! 💕
Thank you for sharing your recipe. I’ve struggled so much with bath bombs. Can I please ask what is the bath dust and what what’s it made from that you put in the centre of your bath bomb? Thanks
hi! the bath dust is just bath bomb mixture that has been colored pretty deeply. I don't use it often as I have more trouble molding when I do.🤗
I’m a rose water fan. 😊
I am too, new to me self-knowledge 😂💕
Thanks for the tray suggestion...never thought of that. I'm curious when you do such a large batch of bath bombs, how do you get through it without it drying out before you're finished with putting them all together?
honestly the last 1-2 are a bit more of a struggle. I have to move fast. I think adding a bit of oil helps keep them from getting dry and crumbly too fast. Maybe try upping your oil just a tiny bit and see if that helps??
Also limiting the wetting - whether it is rubbing alcohol, water or witch hazel - only use a little as possible because these cause the mixture to get grainy and when that happens there is no molding them (for me anyway) Good Luck! 🤗
@@WalnutCreekBathBoutique Thank you for the suggestion.
Awesome
thank you!! 🤗
It was very nice Tammy. I like it and I use those trays from Walmart as well. They are great. I use them without the plastic round thing and they hold the shape pretty well for me.
good to know Clivia! I had wondered about that. thanks my friend!🤗💕
Love those bath bombs, they are gorgeous! That’s very similar to my press recipe…my 3d printed mold recipe has a lot more oil. I’m the 2 hour bath taker 😂
Thanks so much! Oh my, 2 hours LOL - I get so antsy in the bath I am only good for about 10 to 15 min. Maybe if I have one of those soaker tubs...I could go for longer 😂 a girl can dream LOL
Nice!! I like how Jerika Z wraps her BB, use cardstock paper, do not wrap along the orbit ring edge, wrap across the bomb itself, they looked lovely to me, just an FYI....good luck!!!
oh thank you for your tip! I have not seen her wrap like that, I may give it a try. The only thing is the cardstock would hide the pretty tops wouldn't it? You gave me something to think about ! 🤗💖
Hi Tammy. Great video. The bath bombs look great. Im curious about the colored powder that shows up on your work surface at about 6:41. Your recipe lists bath bomb powder what is this?
Hi Lynda, yes that is bath bomb powder. It is basically colored bath bomb mix. you can use your normal recipe or just put bs and citric acid only and color it. the thought is for it to shoot color into the bath water. I didn't have much luck with it this time though. It is totally optional though, if you are new to bath bombs I would not even try it LOL - they are hard enough!😂🤗
What size are the clear baubles your using to put the bath bombs in after shaping?
I don't remember exactly - I think I bought them at wholesales supplies plus and crossed my fingers they were the right ones LOL.
I’m a large child… I can’t help but to play with the bath bomb. 😂
right!?!?!? 😂
I love the look of white bombs with the botanicals, so classy looking! I am SO jealous that you got a press!! I promised myself one for my bday this fall if I make enough money this year haha. Thank you for mentioning me ❤ and I'm glad I could share info that was useful to someone 😊
Oh I hope you are able to get one! 🤞🤞🤞I have about 50 bath bombs right now from testing! I THINK I finally have it pretty well figured out. Def a learning curve to it.
And thank you for the apple thing tip! I love it so much! And as for mentioning you, my inspired by you soap is up next Sat! 😃
Where did you get the clear plastic half sphears you put your bath bombs in?
Hi Connie, I got those from Wholesales Supplies Plus. I think Bramble Berry may have them too. I tried just Christmas ornaments for a time but the plastic started to etch and the bombs would stick in them. these so are are working great.🤗
@@WalnutCreekBathBoutique Thank you. Found them.
Why don’t you like the press? I was thinking about buying one.
Honestly I think I may try it again for my 3-D molds. the problem I was having with the arbor press is that I was putting way way too much pressure on it and it was cracking my molds and causing a lot of unmolding issues for me. I do now have The Bath Bomb Press (pneumatic) that I will now use most often (HUGE learning curve -- lots of tears LOL) but for special or holiday mold I think I will still use 3-D molds. I'm going to try the arbor press again soon and try not to put too much pressure on the mold to see if I can get it to work better.
Hi Tammy! Great job. I’m also working on making a good bath bomb this week, so your video was timely. Could I use goat milk powder instead of SLSA? If so will it also the same amount 24g?
H! You sure can. It will add a bit of foam and slow down fizz much like SLSA, but without the bubbles. I would use it at the same 24g
Let me know how it goes for you!🤗
@@WalnutCreekBathBoutique thank you Tammy, I sure will!
Thank you for sharing Tammy! 😊 when I have a bath bomb day I will try this recipe. I love the performance of it! ❤❤❤
aww, thanks Corry - I hope it works well for you if you do try it! 💕
@@WalnutCreekBathBoutique I do understand how different climate can effect result. And I know tweeking may be involved lol
Hi Tammy if I want to make a smaller batch will I just half your ingredients? Great bath bomb, well done ❤
Hi there! Absolutely! Just half the ingredients until you get the batch size you are comfortable with. Thanks so much for watching!💖
Sams would be a great place to find a tray like that
May I suggest you use a silver permanent market, since your mold is black, to mark the side the rose petals are on
you may and I thank you!! I will put a permanent silver marker on my shopping list!!! Thanks for the tip!🤗
where did you get the plastic bath bomb milky way molds?
I believe I bought them from wholesales supplies plus
Do you have measurements besides grams?
sorry no, but if you open up google and put "grams to ounces" in the search bar (or vise versa) there will pop up an converter - I use that thing just about every day LOL
@@WalnutCreekBathBoutique thank you
Where do you get the bath bomb mold?
I got this one off Etsy from Cada Molds
Thank you
Where do i buy bath bomb powder?
Hi Mary - I make my own bath bomb powder. It is basically your same bath bomb ratio with no other fillers (baking soda and citric acid only) and then color them with your dyes/lakes. Dyes are better for this if you want the water to be more colored. Hope that helps!
I discovered using a coffee warmer to melt my butters while I get everything else ready. No trip downstairs to the microwave
oh that is a good tip! Thanks so much for sharing 😃
How much did everything cost, the press, molds and compressor?
I think I spent right around 1400 for the press and the 3 molds. The molds are around 175 - 200 each. The compressor was around 100-140 if I remember correctly. Def a splurge and an investment. But I do think I will be really happy that I did it.
Hi Tammy!❤️❤️❤️❤️
Hey!!💕
Use a silver sharpie to mark it
Gorgeous bombs ❤
Thanks Denise! These simple ones are one of my favorites!💕
@@WalnutCreekBathBoutique the recipe is pretty close to what I've been using the past 6 years.
@@denisehaley9271 oh that's good to know - that means it's a keeper! 😁
Hey Tammy, those bath bombs looks amazing...... ? I thought you purchased a bath bomb press. See what happens when you don't let the video finish to the end 😂, you send a? that is answered at the end 😊😂
haha! yep Michelle! I did buy a press! I had planned on doing this video before I left for conference so wanted to get it out before everything changes! 😂
@@WalnutCreekBathBoutique
Hello Ms Tammy, where can the presser you’re using be found? I don’t see it on Amazon. What is bath bomb powder? I didn’t see it in your Amazon store either. I thought the items you used would’ve been there. Thank you 🌹🙏🏽
2 oz bath bomb powder?
?embed powder?
do you mean is that how much I used? I usually use about .4 oz in each bath bomb. does that answer your question?
@@WalnutCreekBathBoutique Hi
Can this bath bomb powder be found on Amazon? Thank you 🌹
So many dependencies that cause different reactions with bath bombs. And unless you make them a lot… you wouldn’t know that.
that is true Aubrey - they were Almost the death of me LOL
Those apple trays are unsanitary.
She doesn’t put the actual bath bombs in there. They’re inside the clear plastic mold
