    This car should have been a limited launch in hill-states only and then Suzuki should have maarketed it as a pure mountain vehicle. That would have helped them upgarde Alto and S-Presso customer from the 10 states in Himalayas and NE. Plus people would have valued it more. Thar ki market strategy le doobi.

      @evoIndia  10 місяців тому

      If you are in a place where you need 4x4, you should engage it.

    • @AnandMohan0182
      @AnandMohan0182 10 місяців тому

      While getting down the slope, it’s all about the braking. You don’t need power in all four wheels so 4x4 isn’t necessary but keeping it engaged makes it safer. No landscape is always a single direction elevation change. At times, you may need to accelerate and that’s when 4WD can help you over RWD/2WD. Hope that helps

    Jimmy is a fantastic vehicle no doubt.
    Maruti made a very big mistake by horribly overpricing it and achieved almost no sales and made it invisible on road (we rarely see anyone driving Jimny ).
    The very ideal price for JIMNY is Rs 5.99 Lakhs ex-showroom for the base variant.

    • @Matkabhaikhed
      @Matkabhaikhed 10 місяців тому +3

      Are in in your senses? 6 lakhs mein Spresso aati hai.
      Correct price would have been 10 lakh ex-showroom for the base variantcas it is a 4 x 4.

    • @surajpatil6924
      @surajpatil6924 10 місяців тому

      @@Matkabhaikhed IT is only worth under 6 lakhs ; Jimny !

      @@surajpatil6924 Bolero 4 by 4 thi with very basic interior are no diff lockers and very uncomfortable basic suspension woh bhi 11 lakh mein aati thi. Jimny is has far better suspensions plus BLD. Basic ex-showroom price around 10-10.5 is perfect. They got the pricing wrong by 2 - 2
      5 lakhs. 10 year old 4 by 4 gypsys also cost more than 6 lakhs

    • @twowheeledparadox
      @twowheeledparadox 9 місяців тому

      @@surajpatil6924 5.99 lakhs ex-showroom for the Jimny makes absolutely no sense. How can it be cheaper than cars like the Swift and Grand i10 when it has a bigger engine and a lot more hardware? And this is without taking into account the much higher GST on the Jimny than 1.2 litre hatchbacks. By your calculations, you would ask for the Thar turbo petrol 4WD model to be cheaper than the Brezza and Venue. Or perhaps you think the Thar should start at 7 lakhs ex-showroom.
      Maruti should have priced the Jimny to start at 10 lakh for the current Zeta model and added a barebones Sigma variant at 8.5 lakhs or so, though 8.5 is also too optimistic considering the amount of GST the Jimny attracts.
