We are going to rent one next January in Costa Rica - thanks a lot for this informative video. We are looking forward! Also loved to see pictures from SA and Botswana as we like those places also very much.👍👍
A big reason why the Jimny XL performs equally well to the regular Jimny in off-road conditions is because the rear wheels on the XL are positioned more rearward than the regular Jimmy, this effectively reduces the angle of departure. If anything at 47 degrees the departure angle of Jimny XL is two degrees lesser than the regular Jimny.
It is. The Jimny is iconic for a reason. It's incredible off-road and while it doesn't have a lot of power, it's enough for the Jimny platform. and with 5 doors, it's bigger and more practical while still being everything a Jimny should be,
A tip for the author: don't fill 40% of the screen time with your sweaty face. - It's cool that we're testing magina in Africa. Then, for 10 minutes out of 15, we look at his face
The jimny is not that good , you can only put 30 kg of weight on the roof, it's not worth taking camping cant even put a little roof top tent on, can put a roof rack on but can't put anything on the roof rack if you do it's over weight making it usless
Coming off of a Pajero SFX then a Pajero sprts , the Jimmy is a great size for the upper Himalayas narrow roads with sheer drops ! At a certain stage in life you realise how travelling with minimal gear is a highly liberating experience. For some .. no better vehicle exits !
LOVE this! Thank you Greg for sharing this - it is helpful especially for those who like to adventure on the dusty out roads :)
It's a pleasure! Thanks for watching
Looooove the baby G-Wagon aesthetics!
I does give off baby G-Wagon Vibes!

There are pro's and cons to both the 3 door and 5 door Jimny offroad. They're better at different things.
I proud to be a 5 door Jimny Owner, it’s just got 15:10 amazing 4x4 capabilities same time a family car too
Loving the 5 door
It's going to be loved by a lot of people
What are the requirements needed to register to be in these amazing expeditions?
Finally 😅
Indeed! Quality takes time 😂. I hope you enjoyed it
Awesome video 🎉
Really. Is it that good?

why testing it in its "natural" environment? 99 of the time its in suburbia...

Go elsewhere...it's really that simple

Why would you wanna put anything one the roof
I’m thinking to put a 47kg tent over it
