I love Playford dances. So elegant and a good workout for the brain.
I just learned this dance. Nice recording.
A wonderful old dance. So hard to get right and so beautiful when done right.
From 1698. This dance appeared until the last edition of Playford (ca.1728). THE classical first dance for many beginners of historical dancing.
This is by far the best version I have found online, you are so cordinate and delicate, exactly how it should be done! :)
Thanks for your sensitive comment. GCD's demo group was especially attuned to this dance for the unspoken feelings that both the figures and the music were attempting to convey.
So beautiful!
They are adorable!
Yeah
Це прекрасно, ви чудові!

Какие молодцы! Такие мягкие движения, танцоры так деликатно друг с другом общаются!
How beautiful 🌹
Fine playing and dancing.
Is this the dance from Becoming Jane?
I haven't seen that movie.
