You really have made great progress over the past two years, keep up the good work.
You can get brick pliers that can hold on to 3-5 bricks at a time and has a handle for easy carrying. They are also called brick tongs or brick clamps.
And also: I love your channel, found it with your 2 year time lapse on your silent channel and have since watched every video on this channel from the beginning. I love your thouroughness and positive attitude ❤

The new chimney looks so much better than what was there before. It was really nice that one of your subscribers sent you the new trowels. Did they make the job easier? Now you get the job of stuffing the liner down that chimney. Hope it is easier than it sounds, especially considering the smallness of the chimney.🤔🤞👍

It's a pleasure to look at, happy that you keep the chimney as a feature in the otherwise plastered wall, and on top of that some additional heating when the stove is on.

I thought you would have taken the opportunity to bring the front face of the chimney out to match the new insulation and wall surface. Not only would the brick look nice, it would allow you to take advantage of the thermal mass to help keep the room warm, as well as, to allow more room to install a larger liner. Liners will always reduce the available volume of a chimney, so a larger one would probably be advantageous

Curious… was that just water you sprayed on the bricks to keep them from pulling too much mortar out of the cement? Or was this a special application to help preserve the life of the bricks and mortar?
Will there be no flue liner in this chimney? Considering the age of these bricks, etc., and for safety issues, wondering about that. Hmmmm….
