I have been struggling with Killer Sudoku for a long while and never understood the "45" rule completely. Now I do! Thank you.
That's excellent - thank you so much for letting me know.
@@MathsWithJay Thank you for replying! that makes me happy! (rolls sleeves up and starts another Killer.)
I just recently discovered Killer Sudoku, and this made it super easy to understand! You explain very well, and this 100% got me into this style of Sudoku. Thank you so much!
@Aviivix: Thank you very much!
Thank you for explaining this clearly and giving us excellent tips. You have made doing these more enjoyable
Thank you so much for this feedback, Jill.
Thank you so much! I can now play killer sudoku! I just solved it!! Thank you thank you, you deserve 1 MILLION subscribers!!!!!!
Thank you so much!!
Excellent explanation, thanks. It will help me speed up my solving technique.
You are welcome!
I wish I had you for a math teacher when I was in school🥰
Thank you!
What is said at 6:20 about the sum to make 7 only being 1, 2 and 4 only applies if that particular cage falls entirely in the same row, column or box.
See www.killersudokuonline.com/rules.html for rules under "cage" along with the diagram
Maths with Jay thank you for the clarification!
@@MathsWithJay i was looking for the explanation of that rule. thank you! i also didn't understand how to identify the limits of the cage until i changed for full screen. oops, i need glasses o.o
Glad you found it useful!
It was somewhat helpful. I could follow you perfectly till 8:00. After that you went in fastforward-mode and you lost me completely.
In the end, I haven't managed to solve it despite rewatching and pause your video countless times.
A little feedback for the next time, if you are targeting (absolute) beginners, please explain it step-by-step at a slow pace throughout the whole video (even if it takes an hour) instead of only the first 8 minutes.
Seeing other peoples comments, I assume most of them have been able to solve it following your explanation so on behalf of them I thank you.
Thank you for taking the time to give me such detailed feedback. If you find a more useful video on this topic, please do share it here, so that others will find it too.
This was GREAT!
@Ben: Thank you!
Yes thanks. In the online game, will it tell you if you got the puzzle correctly?
Yes, if you play online, you can "check" anytime and it will tell you if you have "bad" cells and you can choose to see which cells are wrong
your voice is so nice
Thank you!
Excellent
@Legend: Thank you!
Why can’t you have a repeating number it it can go into a different box on a different row?
I don't make up the rules!
Sorry I’m a beginner just trying to understand the game! No shade, very helpful video 😊
sorry
FIRST YOUR VIDEO , sorry for the caps, is very clearly explained. but it seems that there is a math mistake . 7: 16
3rd big square second row, bottom left hand corner. the number writen is 7. but you wrote 4 and 2 . 4 and 2 is 6
THANKS
Thank you for your feedback. Note that the "1" on the line below is part of the "7", so 7=1+2+4.
Thank you
You're welcome
still do not know wth i am doing
Is there a time in the video where you have a question?
To much thinking for me I’m going back to playing Skyrim
OK!
confusing...
At what time in the video?
