I got into Sudoku about 1 year ago, but really got serious about 1 week ago, and really love it. I jumped from beginner, to intermediate and currently trying to solve Expert puzzles. Then I hit a wall and got really slow at solving puzzles. So, I started looking around for UA-cam Strategy Videos. This is the first channel, where the presenter is amazing. She explains so clearly and her pace is excellent! I'm really impressed. I just subscribed and will continue watching these great tips. Thank You so much!
She gives Sudoku Guy "a run for his money", but you need both for the best teaching. Sudoku Swami comes in third I think, but still valuable source of learning.
Appreciate your teaching methods, they are not way over my head as some are. The fact that you overlook something now and then actually encourages me! God Bless.
With your channel I learnt more than something, let's say several things.. I improved my technique and found f-puzzles site very useful to solve sudoku for which I was stuck for several weeks. It show you step by step how to solve them. On newspapers and magazines they just give you the solved puzzle but it is useless, this is not a crossword..
Only Sudokus I want to solve are the ones ranked ***** or hardest possible. I'm always learning something new by solving these (for some reason, THE WEEK's Sudokos are the most difficult.) Anyway, actually discovered came across this puzzle for the first time when it debuted in 1979 to practically no fanfare! Took quite a while for these puzzles to catch fire in the US.
Thanks ,,, easy to understand explanation. ,,, yet I have a ‘very hard’ puzzle I’m wrecking my brain to solve…. Almost depressing but I’m not gonna give up. Will just continue to watch your videos

A great teacher. We know you can go much faster but thank you for explaining all your thinking. I saw you did an excellent video on X-Y wings - the only one I have understood. 5 stars !!
Missed little nines in block five, row five, which gives a big nine in block six, row four. Available since timestamp 03:46, but of course, you can't be everywhere at once, and it gets solved later anyway.
I don't understand the hidden signal... 6 could have always gone on the top left cell.of the top ri8 block... so why did you put in the left bottom cell of the block?
In minute 5.51 you are too fast, you missed the position of the 9s in the central block (a very helpful construction, because the nine from below blocks the only free cell in the upper line of central block!) and so also the position of the nine in the right central block
24:43 Here, in column number 6 at the end cell, you put 8, but your explanation is not suitable for this situation. As we see in column number 6, just 3 empty cells. The first 2 and last one at the end.as on the second row already have 8 so that the second cell on the top of column number 6 we can not put 8. But on the top and at the end of this column possibly put 8. But you put 8 at the and of this column. Why?
I agree the explanation is not right. However, the 3 empty cells in column 6 are to be filled by candidates 1, 3 and 8. As 1 and 3 are already solved in the bottom row, the bottom cell in column 6 must be an 8.
In block 1, you have a 6 in row 2; in block 2 the 6 cannot therefore appear in the same row; it cannot appear either in row 3 because it is already complete. Therefore, the only place for the 6 is in row 1 of the said block 2. Now in block 3, the 6 cannot be in rows 1 or 2. A 6 must be entered some where in row 3. The only place left for it is in column 7, because there is already a 6 in both column 8 and 9.
@@georgesthibaudeau1533you can also look on that row and see block 1 has a 6 in. The column 8 and 9 can't have the 6 on row 3 so therefore the 6 is in column 7 of row 3
Very poor scanning of the 9s at the start; they are obviously restricted to the middle row of block 5 and hence, a locked-in 9 in r4c9.. Perhaps a lot easier when one is looking to place digits at their proper location rather than minded to enter candidates without taking a proper look. In any event, this is a rather simple puzzle. Whether you chose to make notations or not - I generally don't - this is a puzzle that offers a bit of a challenge, but can rather easily be completed.

I used to do all of these calculations in mind without using these notations 😅 , what a helpful tool!
Your pace is just right, your voice is clear and the teaching is excellent
After becoming a sudoku addict, I hope to become good at it.
Your videos are going to help me for sure!

This helped me solve my first medium difficulty sudoku! Thank you

I really enjoyed watching you solve it
You're really good

G'day, As good as you presented this information it was painful to see you miss several numbers as you went.
Thank you very much

Amazing video mam thank you ... Also you have a beautiful smile :D
I don't understand the hidden signal... 6 could have always gone on the top left cell.of the top ri8 block... so why did you put in the left bottom cell of the block?
good
At 12.13 we already have 1 in Block 9,Column 8,Row 9 so I think there is no need to put 1 in B3C8R2
In minute 5.51 you are too fast, you missed the position of the 9s in the central block (a very helpful construction, because the nine from below blocks the only free cell in the upper line of central block!) and so also the position of the nine in the right central block
You solved this in minute 13.05
Eliminate 1 on cell 3
You left 9 too soon. In the middle cell you also could pencil two 9's. So in the middle right bloc you could put a 9.
thank you for going slow....finally something is clicking
Can you help me out with the sudoku I am trying to solve already some time?😢😊
The one in middle top right is wrong 😫

Do you only solve New York Times puzzles ?
9m23s: OMG, is it not evident that the 6 can only be in row 3, column 7
Excellent instruction but I don’t understand either - 3rd block’s “hidden 6.” Why not at top left of that block? Please explain. 🙏
@@georgesthibaudeau1533 Bravo. You answered my question. Thank you! I’m still learning better techniques.

This takes absolutely too long
If you are talking about the video there is a playback speed option that allows you to make the video go 1.25x, 1.5x, 1.75x, or 2x the speed.
