Hi everyone and welcome back to my channel. Today we have a very easy beginner friendly knit summer sweater.
You will need:
weight 3 yarn
10mm knitting needles (straight or circular)
6mm knitting needles (straight or circular)
Stitch marker and yarn needle.

Working my way through this to make a gift for my wife for her birthday. I’m a beginner having only first picked up needles a month ago. I’ve found patterns hard to understand but this has been super helpful.
How'd it turn out? I'm using straight needles and they're quite challenging, but one front/back is complete.
@@kilodeltawhisky1504 Ive done front, back and the arms.... now need to pluck up the courage to stitch

WOW! You have done it again!!! Fabulous sweater - good grief, cannot believe the price of the yarn either!!! Gorgeous colours. I can't wait to get my knitting needles back out - only like using large ones. Favourite part for me is you showing how to stitch together. Thank you for this pattern I have some Abbey Road glory glory yarn 35% mohair 65% microfibre suggested needle size 5 mm & have been looking for a loose knit tunic pattern to make with it I’ll do a swatch & see if I end up with your gauge if it works out I’ll make it with 3/4 sleeves but longer in the body
Thanks, even though it's getting to be about 90/32.2 degrees I still want to make this - goodness knows I have all the yarns and needles/hooks to make this...

Thank you so much. It’s a pretty basic pattern so you should really give it a try. Plus you actually use a lot less yarn when knitting compared to crochet!!!

I had to purchase straight wooden needles. The yarn stayed on much better than aluminum needles with a cable. Thank goodness for lifelines 😆

I’ve been dying to get into knitting so this looks perfect as a beginner project! I love how slowly you take us through each step. May I ask what length cord you use for your circular needles?
You should definitely try it! I used an 80cm cord but anything will work as long as it's not the circular needles for sock as they are too small.

Hi. I love this but I was wondering, if I want a tighter knit, how many do I cast on? I'm asking cause it looks like this sweater is see through...So do I buy a small size needle? I wear an extra extra small but wouldn't want to have it too tight so extra small would be great.
