Saw an article recently about July 21, 2024 being the best day to retire #5. A Sunday against the Nationals at Citi Field marking the 20th year since his debut and it's against the same franchise, although they were still the Montreal Expos in 2004. I hope the Mets are aware of this, or maybe some intern that runs the youtube channel will see this and pass word along. Thank you to those who put this video together, thank you to the Mets, and most of all thank you David Wright for making the Mets exciting to watch no matter what our record was.
