Hi I’m the author, no Raph does not have a crush on April. April is an adult in this version so there’s no romance between her and any of the turtles. They do become friends and eventually Raph comes to see her as his sister/part of his family.
@@Josie-u1s because Raph gets uncomfortable when people point out his softness and caring side and reacts with embarrassment and anger which results in him blushing. People can blush for other reasons than just love. I personally use blushing more to depicted embarrassment, not sure why but I just do I guess. Hope that makes sense!

As said by the author of the comic, “April is an adult in this series, and only comes to know the turtles as her brothers/family.” :) People usually assume romantic interest when a character blushes, but with this instance, Raph is merely blushing cause he doesn’t want everyone to know how soft he can be. :) More of embarrassment than anything else. :) Hope this clears things up!
