Home Alone 1 was rather brutal. Definitely going to need surgery and rehab after that movie. But probably could survive most of it.
Home Alone 2, almost every thing that happened to them would have been crippling or death within minutes.

The way Marv was electrocuted isn't just painful; it's incredibly dangerous too. Electricity always chooses the path of least resistance. Holding onto it like that, he'd have current sent through his heart which can not only negatively affect the pulse but also cause internal burns on the heart and other organs, not to mention if the current is strong enough you're not gonna get electrocuted; you're just gonna get exploded and suffer massive burns.
If you should come across someone obviously being electrocuted, for the love of your health, do not touch them! You become part of the circuit unless properly insulated against it! Report it if you have the possibility but of course try to help them. If you're wearing a boilersuit what you can do is take it off and snag it around their body and pull them away, or, and I'm not joking: take a running speed and tackle them with your shoulder.
Source: I'm a marine engineer. We have mandatory coursing in this every year. Death by electrocution is a leading cause of death in my field. If you find yourself suffer a serious electrocution, contact medical assistance. Many internal electrocution damage symptoms do not arise until hours later and it could be too late then.

If you reach and grasp "normally" and it has a live current, that will cause the muscles in your hand to contract, preventing you from letting go, so use the back of your hand if you have "test."

Home Alone was pretty much like torture of the bad guys without killing them. Home Alone 2 was more like how are these guys not dead? Especially that scene where Marv gets electrocuted, how could anyone survive that? I'm also amazed that Marv didn't become blind from that falling iron, never mind that he shouldn't have survived being hit by four bricks or when they both got hit by paint cans and fell down the stairs. They should have been paralyzed or dead by the end of the movie. The way they had Harry and Marv always get back up like nothing happened is what made the movie so humorous, though.

I was today years old when I found out that you came here from Russia as a child! I had no idea! You sound like you were born and raised in Brooklyn. Well, in honor of my favorite influencer Dr., I will be naming a very important Dr. after you in my book that I'm writing. (Yes, I know, everyone is doing it.) I was actually hunting for a good, strong name for this particular doctor, and I think yours will be perfect, especially in light of all the wonderful things you have taught me about medicine in the last few years. I've been in medicine all my life. I literally grew up in a hospital. Both my parents were in medicine, and when we were little, were at the hospital before school, after school, when they got called in, etc. I grew up and went in the emergency medicine (not a Dr. I'm not that smart. I went for EMS.) but I've always had a love for it.

I had a school nurse who I'm pretty sure hated me, I came in almost every day because I got injured so much, I almost always needed a bandaid or ice because I has cut myself or hit something or had a headache, but this one time, I had fallen about 6 feet, landing on one leg, my knee almost buckled and it hurt horribly and I was limping pretty bad, AND THIS B*TCH SAW ME, A 2ND GRADER, LIMPING AND SOBBING, AND GUESS WHAT SHE SAID BEFORE I COULD TELL HER WHAT HAPPENED "go away, your fine" I OBVIOUSLY WAS NOT. This nurse is the reason I would not go to the nurse for 3 years after I left elementary school. She rarely believed me when I had horrendous headaches, she was awful to me specifically, I saw how she acted around other kids. She was nice and caring but to me she would say, are you sure your not faking it to get out of class. I never was. Thank you for coming to my Ted talk
