    This is the kind of work I think a lot of people like, if there like me and can’t afford high price wood all the time but like to make things out of our scraps, tanka’s and keep the videos coming

    Another lush looking build, always really impressed with your work and the curved edge plus the boiled linseed on the plywood looks gorgeous.
    I spotted DiResta made a jig on his Spike cat house video for tapering / shaping wood using a tablesaw and drill, so that might be worth a go until you hit that gold play button and can blow your UA-cam fortune on a lathe.

    Thanks for your efforts putting the video's about your products together. I like them. Here's a tip for glueing the strips together: rotate all the strips a quarter clockwise. You now have a large area where to put the wood glue. You could even spread it evenly with a paint roller. Then, turning the strips counterclockwise, you can glue them on one by one.

    When you take a messure-tape around the table top, and make trhee parts off the length, than you have exactly trhee times
    120 degrees. The hole circle is 360 degrees. And its easier and quicker.

    You said you didn’t want to fill any nail holes when marking out your circle, but later put it on your table saw spinning around a nail. Could you not use the same hole?
    Great video! I love your voice over and how clear your explanations are.

    • @RagnBoneBrown
      @RagnBoneBrown  5 років тому

      I think because the nail hole was on the underside of the table, but I wanted to mark up the top of the table? I could be wrong though my memory is terrible!

    Love the look of the table top, ply can be a very aesthetically pleasing material if used correctly. I would be worried that the varnish would lift because it was applied to a surface that had been oiled - what are your thoughts?

    • @RagnBoneBrown
      @RagnBoneBrown  5 років тому

      You can use oil based or water based finishes over oil as long as the oil is fully cured
