I love seeing your videos! I am 30 year old male. & I just have to pass my math test on the GED. (Next month) might took longer than most to get my life together but here I am! God is good. & then I’m enrolling into dental hygienist school 😊 🙏🏼 your so motivating! & I’m just dreaming of the the day I start school. & get educated & walk across that stage! I’m trying my best to prepare myself for the future because you honestly inspired me to become a RDH, I’m 25 now but I’m aiming to be done school by 28 or 29 depending upon how upgrading goes.
I’ve already memorized the different tooth numbers, & the different tooth surfaces. All from a combination of your videos and research.
I’ve also been watching countless hours of videos on teeth anatomy & and oral anatomy. I really want to prepare myself well before getting started because the Dental hygiene field is very competitive but it’ll all be worth it

Fake it until you make it!! 🙌 Even if you aren’t confident pretend you are as patients will pick up on nerves! I always say try to keep the conversation natural and not as if you are reading from a script as well!!

1:29 small tip for this scenario - block the pts view when putting these together, at least until you get the hang of it (or do in advance!). Doing this ~7 yrs and still will put it together wrong once in a blue moon, so no need to get flustered, it happens 😅 Sometimes I don't notice til I'm putting it in their mouth (🙃), so I'll just be like "one moment :D", then stand behind them and fix it lol. But not having them watch you all 👀helps take some of the pressure off, imo.
I’m a dentist in Chinese speaking area. Therw r more and more English speakers visiting my clinic which makes me in trouble communicating with them. Watcing your videos helps me talking with them accurately with English. Thank you and wish you always good working in dentistry ❤
