@@slipperys0ap817 If they are true to your size, yes. I got my feet measured at a New Balance store so I have the metrics on what sizes fit best for me. You can do the same if that helps you.
The best way to make sure that the spikes don't go dull is to use them only as a race day spike. Even Running Warehouse suggests that you don't use these for practices since the spikes are embedded into the carbon fiber plate.
wow what an eloquent review :>
Thanks
Thanks, bro
Hope I get a response,
Would you say that running in these spikes feels flat or does it give you that bounce like the max fly.
When I use them, I feel a little bouncy in them due to the foam. I hope that helps
Would these be good for sprint hurdles?
yes
Since the spikes are cemented in and titanium and non removable, what would you say the spike length is? 1/8? 1/4?
I would say 3/8
I asked new balance and they responded with 1/4
@@slipperys0ap817 that’s good
How is the arch support?
I would say a bit better than other spikes. I have flat feet and I don’t have a problem with them
@@kenseichen do they fit similar to their normal training shoes? I have the rebel v2 and I’m wondering if they fit similar to them.

hi, I would like to switch from nike zoom superfly elite to new balance s dx v2. what size do you recommend, bigger, smaller and the same?
I would say the same. If you wear socks in your spikes I recommend to go half a size bigger
@@kenseichen Thanks so much
@@АлександрГрезент anytime👍🏼
Do you think it is generally uncool to wear socks with spikes?
You do whatever you want but I prefer no socks😂
what would you do if the spikes went dull?
Honesty you can't do much about it. All you can do is prevent it from dulling like not walking on concrete with them.
They are made of titanium and more durable than normal spikes

I went to new balance nationals and at the store they had there they said they would give you a new pair if your wear them down
Are they true to size?
I recommended to get a 0.5 bigger. It depends on your feet structure
Are they good for 800m or even if 1.500m?
Times 1:48/ 3:46
Never ran them in those events but I would say no due to the lack of cushioning/comfortability for running over 400m
Imo I liked them for the 800m. I would use them for the 800m more, but they don’t have removable spikes so I’m scared they will get dull
Do you think these would be fine if you wore thinner socks with them?
I would say so
Would the pwr-x or the sd-x be better for the 100?
I didn’t know they just came out😂 I’m not sure what the differences are
Pwr are better for 100m, but everything up the sd-x are better
